The staff was very helpful and they have a nice selection of furniture to look at on the floor. The prices are in line with the quality. Not high end but also not the thow away stuff you have to bolt together yourself.

The quality control of basset has gone down as well as their customer service. Do not order from them. For the price you pay for furniture, I except better. I received a chair that was stained wrong and sloppy as well as cuts in the fabric. I requested a refund because of distrust and after months of communication, I’m left with a chair that I paid full price for but is in poor quality. For a business that has been around for years, they should be better. They are not. Avoid the headache and do not get furniture from them unless you want to take the risk of being stuck with a damaged item.

I was very excited to get a fresh new dining room look during this COVID outbreak. I decided to go to Bassett because we purchased from them years ago. I had also felt that I wanted furniture that last for a long time. I thought long and hard about how I wanted my dining room to look before I decided to Bassett.My design person was Maggie who seemed very personable and helpful. I pitched a dining table, a bench and a banquette. My order took about 8 weeks to come in. By that time I was excited to receive my items. But when they were delivered the banquette was not the color I ordered. Believe or not I actually burst out in tears. I called Maggie immediately, but she didnt have time for right away because she had another client. While waiting for her call my anxiety grew. She called me back hours later and said they would take care of it. 2 1/2 months later no follow up calls from Maggie or any other personnel have contacted me to get me an update. So almost 5 months Ive been waiting for my banquette. Im sure Maggie could careless because she got her commission from the sale already. I just called today and was told by Brittany that my bench is in the warehouse and she will have someone call me to deliver.Im sorry Bassett but your customer service does not deserve anything higher than a 2 star. I used to love going Bassett but after this I will never spend money there at the Ontario store.

After going to about 10 other furniture stores, we found bassett. Our designer was amazing, he helped us pick out exactly what we wanted. We waited a few weeks while they were building it just for us, and then the two couches showed up at our door :) Very pleased with the service and quality! Real solid couches, not the cheap junk you find at so many furniture stores.

Fabric stinks...literallyI had a wonderful shopping experience and rated this 5 stars awaiting delivery.Delivery was on March 14th and everything looked perfect! Then the delivery guys left and I noticed a smell. I assumed they were musty from a hard days work so I opened a window.2 days later the scent hadnt left so I started sniffing the headboard. Surprisingly, it was the source.I continued to air out the room and called over the weekend. There was no follow up so I called again.They want me to wait another 1-2 weeks before sending someone to steam clean. This is unacceptable, (1) this wasnt a cheap purchase so I expect faster resolution, (2) Im expecting guests which was the reason for the purchase. Imagine the embarrassment I would feel...

I just went in ready to make a few purchases and ended up leaving. It seemed as if no one wanted to be bothered. One person finally came up to me to greet me and even then she seemed snooty. It’s definitely a shame since I just purchased a home and was ready to make my first purchases. I wouldn’t recommend this store.

Im from Bassett, VA. For anyone unfamiliar (not many people know where this is lol), this is the HOME of Bassett Furniture. For me its awesome to see this store so far away from there (2,408 miles). I know the hardwork & dedication that has been put into this business & each product & Im happy to personally get to see it out here too.

So we bought a house in 2018 and after shopping around I wanted good sturdy furniture and chose to go with Bassetr. Felicia was very helpful and involved in helping up make our selection. We finally made made our purchase in may spending about $6000 on 4 pieces which included 2 sofas and 2 chairs. When the furniture arrived in the of June beginning of July I noticed that the pillows for the sofas were not fluffy and full as shown in the store, they had big gaps at the top and the pillows did not touch. I told the delivery people if I remember correctly I contacted the store and notified them. And was told they needed time to fluff out. Due to health issues I didnt contact them for about 9 months. I contacted them again in March regarding the pillow backs and to notify them that the attached back for both chairs were ripping and detaching from the chair. They said call the insurance company which I did and they said they dont fix that even thought During the buying process we were told that it would be covered through the insurance. After going back-and-forth the Store decided to send a technician out to look at the furniture and fix it. A guy came out and all he did was clip a stapler out that was sticking from out of the sofa. He took pictures and told me he cant fix it they will need to order new pillow backs and attach it in the warehouse. After he left I called the store and told them what happened they said they will have to wait for his report to come in about a week or 2 later I called again they were still waiting to look over his report then I called back they said they got his report and it shows that the work was completed. I said no it was not and was told they were looking at the work order and it shows completed. My response was Response was I know whats not done Ive already called you to tell you that it was not done he did nothing he told me it has to be done in the warehouse and they have to order new cushions. Today 9 13 19, 6 months later I am still trying to get my furniture fixed and was told that my paperwork was mixed up with another costumer with the same name (WHICH IS A LIE because a few months ago I was told they were looking at my order paper and confirmed my name and what was supposedly done.) I am asking for them as they have to replace the pillows to leave the pillow detached and they refuse. As of today they are rushing to order new pillow backs to attach the same way and I am very concerned. At this point take the furniture back and credit me some money back, I dont want to deal with them anymore. Their lack of communication is just horrible. They got paid and Im stuck with furniture I am unhappy with. They are suppose to be contacting me at some time to talk at my request. Not sure why I need to request to speak with upper management and they have not stepped in yet to handle this, but we will see what will happen. Dealing with Felicia was the best part of this whole experience I just wish the process of getting things done with the insurance was as easy as she said it would be. I would not buy from them again. I feel like I would be better off buying cheap furniture for about $800 and just replacing it every 2-3 years as needed.Here is an update on 9-16-19, still no call from upper management. Britney called me to say they are ordering the backs to the chairs and they will pick up and replace it. She then let me know that the piece they are replacing looks like it will be a difference in color because of the normal use of my furniture and I should get my furniture cleaned to make the colors match as best as possible. So basically they gonna fix the ripped pieces and give me back two-toned furniture. They are not even offering to clean it so that it matches.

Our Salesperson, Elaine Kluever, was very friendly and professional. We did not feel pressured one bit to buy anything but was very helpful and knowledgeable when she was helping us. Delivery personnel were professional and friendly.
