They are very sloppy about pricing their products. THEIR store policy states: items that do not have price tags on them are $0.99, all other items are priced as marked. Well, once you get to the checkout, they scan an item that should be $0.99 (because theres no price tag on it) and instead they charge you something different. And they dont say anything about it! And if the customer happens to notice it and says something, they just shrug it off and say that you have to pay a different price or dont buy it at all. How is the customer supposed to shop that way, especially if theyre on a budget? I mean, they have every right to charge whatever they want, but they should at least follow their own store policy! Besides, doesnt the law state that they have to honor whatever price is listed? They just seem really shady to me. On top of that, the owner is very strict with the air conditioner there and the customers and employees are always very hot. I know, I know, some of you are probably thinking if you dont like it, dont shop there, well, I dont shop there anymore. However, I do want to make sure that other consumers are aware of the practices that take place there so that they are not taken advantage of like I have been.

Good place to come for value buys. But they are now selling toliet paper at a dollar a roll. Idk if thats price gouging, but its most definitely shady.

Well I recently went their and let me tell you, I have not had a problem since I encountered the only MALE clerk. He is so rude. I had my son with me and he was very passive aggressive. He got angry at me because I asked him for a bag after checkout that I was going to pay for. On top of that, he did not let me take the cart out and refused to get someone to help me with my things... I had a handful of things in one hand and my newborn son on the other had... it is their job to serve the customer and if you refuse to ring me other items, then at least have someone help me out. Such incompetent staff.

I love going and checking out this store because you never know what you might find. Great deals always pop into the Giant Dollar.

Nice items, would like to see more 1.00 items due to being a senior citizen. Dont like having to leave a ziplock sealed back Pack by a register by the door I been shopping there for years I feel offended cause I had to walk away cuz my bag unattended while I seen a lady shoving undergarments in her shirt if bad ppl shoplift you cant treat your regular good paying customers in that way (if store doesnt trust customers that come into there store how are we supposed to leave our personal item unattended ). Holiday weekend shelves werent full stocked. Valentines candy (m+ms)for sale in Aug for almost $4.00.

The cashiers are rude, chatty and dont pay attention to what theyre doing half the time. One of them forgot to pack some of my items and I didnt realize that until I got home.Id go back to get them but Id waste more money on gas than what the items were worth.The owner or manager (Im not sure what he is) is always outside smoking.I guess thats what I get for trying to buy cheap items; Cheap service.
