The girl who greeted me at the door was very unhelpful. After I requested another person nicely, that young man was very helpful courteous and polite.
Yesterday the manager at this store refused to help my elderly grandmother set up her new phone after shed been told they would. When she asked to return the phone (since she couldnt operate it without setup), he withdrew his hand as she handed him the phone, causing it to drop and crack, at which point he told her shed have to pay a $50 restock fee and said she should have gone to Best Buy. This happened in front of an entire line of customers and my grandmother left in tears. I do not recommend this store.
If I known this was the WORST Verizon store in Alabama I wouldnt have made a purchase from there. Customer Service (IF) you can get them on the phone is basic at best. Between that and being ripped off only go here if ALL else has failed.
This is my one stop shop Verizon location for the Auburn/Opelika area! They are always well staffed and the employees are generally more experienced and knowledgeable than other locations. Theres always an expert among the group so if something complicated happens its usually a quick fix. Brandon has helped me several times and hes a freaking genius! He not only made recommendations for devices and accessories but he also identified discounts I could get by linking my business! Im saving over $100 a month now! Worker was rude and unhelpful, did not get situation resolved. We left and went to an authorized retailer simply to upgrade a phone because we didnt want to give the rude worker any commission on a phone sale. Ran into further upgrade issues at second store and have been trying to get issue resolved unsuccessfully via phone customer service/customer care/tier 2 tech support for 10 days now as they do not have these workers in physical stores. Verizon has the worst customer service Ive experienced in my life and Ive worked in customer service for 5+ years, they are not in the least worried about retaining customers or fixing issues.
If you come to this store, ask for Roland. He was authentically the most helpful and patient person!! He not only made the experience enjoyable but he is a straight shooter and got me the best deal possible. 10/10
Wish I could give zero stars. I’ve been here three times in the past two weeks because of phone complications and it is very apparent every employee working is there for a pay check only. Horrible customer service, horrible communication. If you wanting anything that requires more than the bare minimum do not expect it here.
A gentleman by the name of Roland gave me above and beyond customer service when I needed assistance with a phone I purchased. He was dedicated and very kind in his effort of fixing the problem with my smartphone. He is very knowledgeable in his work.
A customer support person helped my grandmother on the phone purchase a new cell phone. She stated that she would need help setting it up and he told her to bring it down to this store and they would help her, she only needed to bring the receipt. My grandmother did this once her phone was shipped to her house. Yesterday, she was waiting in line outside following their social distancing guidelines. The manager walked up to her and she explained why she was there and what the customer support person had told her. The manager then rudely told her that they dont do that here at this store and that they were not going to touch her phone. After politely trying to convince this man to help her, he still refused and impolitely did so in front of the other people in line. She wished to then return the phone since she couldnt operate it without the help that was promised to her. When she tried to hand him the phone back, he fake grabbed it and it fell on the ground and cracked. He then told her that she would have to pay a $50 restock fee. Im very disappointed in how my elderly grandmother was treated at this store. She left in tears. I do not recommend going here.
Good company and good service. I suggest checking your time to visit wisely. Sometimes they are backed up. But if you go at a slower time all is good.

Booked Appt. Online and checked in through app. Then waited 30 mins, and got a text message saying, sorry we missed you? What? Went in to store and the Manager Trey was amazing!!! I was pretty aggravated that he had no clue I had an appt. didn’t matter he handle it like a pro! Worked me in and told me, it wasn’t a problem. Cory completed my insurance claim and I was out the door in 10mins! Wow! What customer service! Thank you!!!

Overpriced. Only interested in a sale. Refuse to repair. I understand the need to generate revenue but what about consideration of long time customers? They wanted $250 to replace my elderly mothers flip phone. Never even attempted to diagnose the problem with her current phone. No worries. I fixed it (extremely easily) in their showroom. 🤔

I have a Verizon account went there to transfer my phone info over to another phone I bought, they told me it would take 2 to 3 hours this do that and said they are only letting in only short visit transactions, went to Best Buy and they did it for me in less then 20 minutes at no charge, as a Verizon phone customer for several years now that was really disappointing to know that what I needed done was a 20 minute process and not 2 to 3 hours

Verizon has it blocked off to where you cannot possibly reach anyone. Drove to the store - Surprise surprise, same thing. Act of congress to get it - masked an asspot, close at 2, must use app. Apparently they no longer need my business. I dont hang around where Im not wanted. C ya!
It took a while to be helped since it was busy, but the guy came and answered questions about the phone we looked at. He looked online and instead of telling us we needed to upgrade, he told my grandmother she still had her warranty. So we didnt have to pay for a new phone. He was very helpful and nice.
This location treated me like a worthless old woman today...they acted like I was a liar with no common sense and told me they had no way of helping me. They told me that 611 doesnt know what theyre doing and also told me not to bother going to the other store because it wasnt a real store. Even though they managed to help me at the other location with dignity and respect with transferring my contacts. I have been with Verizon for 20+ years and I will never step foot in this unethical,and unprofessional location ever again.

I was on the phone with talk and holds for 1 hr and 2 min with customer service trying just to get my Hotspot turned back on for my plan. Its been over a month and 1/2 its been off and its in my plan!!! Hopefully they will fix this soon. I do love the Verizon phone service better than the rest!!
I got their 14 minutes before the store was to close. A young lady met me at the front door and I told her what I needed. She said let me get you some and since this was a brand new item she went to the back and came out with several phone covers for me to look at. She was extremely nice and helpful even though it was almost closing time.

This is the worst verizon store I have ever experienced. They do not care about their customers nor do they even help. If you can go to any other store in the Auburn/Opelika area. I am very upset with the way they treated me.
Visited this store to have SIM cards transferred to my new phone & NORMALLY they assist me with transferring data, however, they indicated to me that it was now my responsibility to transfer everything into my phone. The sales lady transferred my SIM cards & did start my picture transfer, but nothing else, & looked very put out by my request to even transfer pics, indicating WiFi was weak at the location. Not all people are techie, so I strongly suggest hiring more people & implementing better customer service. I will try a different location, BUT if I experience this again, will change my wireless provider. I pay too much for AWFUL customer service since my small business requires having a reliable cell phone.
I used to hate going into the Store because the wait was long and nice I was about to talk witha rep the new phone process was painful and very long. Verizon has finally figured it out. Wait time have been greatly reduced and I can get in and out un under an hour. Service was great.

This place is very busy, but had a lot of employees. The guy that helped us was very patient and was able to get both our phones setup for us. It took a little bit because of waiting for some phone updates, but that’s not their fault.
After years with AT&T, I finally became tired of simply not having coverage where I live and where I work. I came into the store, and spoke with the salesperson and told him was I was looking for and that I saw X-special online and he said that is definitely available with their prepaid plan (which is what I was looking for with porting my number over). The phone I wanted was not available for prepaid service and he did his best to make it happen, but the way the phone is programmed simply wouldnt allow it. Both the sales person and the manager bent over backwards to work with a plan that was comparable to what I had seen on the prepaid service. After some digging, and much time spent attempting to get the phone and the service setup exactly how I wanted I left there a very happy customer. Over the next 24 hours there were problems with the phone itself, and through some online searching found out that this particular phone was renown for this issue as well as a few others. I went back into the store the next day and they swapped it out for a different phone and were completely professional through the whole matter. I took much of their time and was not buying a big-money phone. I am a flip-phone user and did not expect them to expend much effort into helping me, but they surprised me and made sure that I left there with exactly what I wanted and what I needed and that everything was working perfectly. This store was busy, but I never felt like they were rushing me out the door. I will definitely be using this location again in the future for my phone needs.

We live in Montgomery and normally visit the Verizon stores here which tend to be too busy and somewhat cold and impersonal. But our daughter is in Auburn so when she had a problem with her iPhone we visited the Auburn store instead. What a pleasure it was going into this store. We were greeted and helped immediately, not asked to sign in at some kiosk. We showed the representative our issue which he immediately could identify and he helped us pick out a new phone. He was nice, helpful and knew exactly what he was doing. So did the other employees. I felt very confident about the information and service we received.
They will double charge your card then are clueless to correct it. Then you spend hours upon hours day after day waiting to be seen to correct the error. They finally correct it. But only there in my face corrected it. Upon audit they reversed their own correction digitally and charged my elderly father for the same phone and minutes over and over again. Upon a correction. ......they had no idea how to process it and once again did a negative refund (which is yet again another charge) they have zero clue what they are doing. Once they fixed my issue after 30 hours of sitting and waiting and going back time and again. When they fixed it corporate audited their correction and yet again charged my fathers card without consent. I would skip Verizon at any location. Period

The absolute WORST customer service experience I have ever had. not only do they treat you like a child, but they are completely condescending and hostile. not to mention one employee doesnt even BOTHER to take out their airpods and actually attempt to do their job, they just chime in whenever they please and make the rudest comments about your issue. Another employee did not even decide to hide their feelings towards the situation (OR THEIR CUSTOMER) at hand but instead huffed and scoffed towards us while rolling their eyes. do not even bother going to this establishment thinking you will get something resolved, you will just leave even more annoyed than before. in my opinion, when you have a job where you have to promote customer service AND the brand you work for, you treat a customer (or any human for that matter) with respect and kindness, despite your actual feelings. if you are ever looking for a reason to be in a bad mood, go here!
If I could give less than a one star, then I would. I have been to a few Verizon stores and I have never had a problem like I did with this one. Worst employees and managers. They do not want to help you with anything. I was there to pick up a new phone that was ordered the night before for pickup. Fully paid for. The representative on the phone told me it was ok to come in and pick up anytime. Went in and they wouldnt allow me to take it home. I had the Verizon representative call back to tell them to release the phone to me and they refused her. The actual Verizon corporation. Then they wanted to tell me I was giving them red flags for coming in to get it. I will never go back and give them my business anymore.
Verizon needs to go back to customer service in their stores instead of sales only.
Very rarely is my experience at verizon good. Theyre extremely inflexible. Theyre never wrong and have no sense of customer service when it comes to understanding customers concerns and problems and then resolving them.

Its a Verizon store. Not great, not terrible. Its better than the one in Montgomery, which usually has an extremely long wait time. Ive waited about 5-10 minutes here, so its not too bad.

I love Verizon stores. I have been sitting in this one for 45 min now just waiting on an upgrade. They first got the wrong phone the iPhone 8 I stead of Note 8 and then had to return the IPhone 8 and get the note 8. Wait time is terrible the employees need to learn how to do their job also.

Today i went in to get my glass screen protector replaced. after being told i was signed in, they told me i had to wait 10-15min, but i ended up waiting an hour and people were helped before me and i was ignored. once they got to me they told me they couldn’t replace my screen protector because i purchased it at a different verizon location in town. this was a huge waste of my time and was very unprofessional, and i would not recommend giving your service here

My experience was not good at all. I bought a new connection and a phone from this verizon. The salesman named as Shanon was a cheater. He gave false information about the product and price. That guy promised me to give a discount on the phone. But after buying the device, when came home, I got an email that confirms that he charged the full price. more over that, he charger $75 for the case whereas, while selling the product, he told me that the case is free along with the phone. I went back to the store today to resolve the issue. They resolved the issue after a long conversation but charger $35 from me as a return fee. So, with no reason I had to pay $35 from my pocket! I would recommend to avoid this store if possible
We went to the store and were politely greeted by Michelle. It went downhill from there. We went to the store to avoid havin to do hours of research on the internet. We wanted to speak with a person who was familiar with the products, etc. We asked her what the advantage of a curved screen was and she said she didnt know. We asked her about smart phones with shatter resistant screens and she said she didnt know. We asked her the advantages of the LG v40 over the lgv50 and she didnt know. We asked her if they had any LG phones as there were not any on the showroom floor and she didnt know. This is how the entire encounter went on. I finally left the store, called Verizon from my home, had all my questions answered, and ordered a phone.

Jessica was helpful in getting my husbands old phone set up and apps, photos, contacts transferred. We had gone by at 11:45 & saw a VERY full parking lot. Thinking it was a lunch crowd wed decided to try the location on Pepperell Parkway. We walked in and there were just two women being helped by a female representative. She actually called out to us and said someone would be with us in a few minutes. The other representative was a male. He was just sitting at the counter looking at a computer and had ear buds in. He never looked at us and Im not even sure he even heard the doorbell ring or his co-worker call out to us. After 5 minutes of just standing there we left. After running a few errands we went back to the Tiger Town store, went in, got on the service list, waited for about 20 minutes, then Jessica greeted us and took care of selling us a new phone. Ill probably never go back to the Pepperell store location. After seeing some of the reviews others left, Im surprised they can stay in business.

Bad customer service. No employees asked us if we needed help the whole time we were there. They all seemed to be standing in a group talking. Worker was vague and unhelpful when we asked about phone prices. Walked out 10 minutes after we got there.
I would rate 0 stars if I could. First of all wait time was very long, honestly we shouldve taken the hint that this was a terrible store and left but we decided to wait the 45 minutes before someone finally got to us. When talking to the employee about their Smart Hub which claims to give internet to your household for the low price of $200 extra added to your account; he was completely useless and not knowledgeable at all about his own products. Verizon itself is a greedy, deceptive company already but this store doesnt help its image at all.

Phone broke and had to get a new one. While there were a lot of people the wait went quick and staff knew what they were talking about, however they really try to push products on you you dont need.

Customer service was terrible. I was asked upon arrival what my problem was, I told the employee that I cracked my phone and wanted to know how to file my insurance claim. I waited 30 minutes just for another employee to finally give me a pamphlet that showed me how to file my claim online because its not done in the store.
