Coming to this location one has to stay out of the employees way, as they are the priority, not you. This is inclusive of all floor employees. Furthermore this company in general lack the proper training for customer service and retention. After being patient for many years of decline at this location specifically, I have decided that being verbally attacked by stockboys and getting out of the employees way is not worth my loyalty. This Stater Bros is now banned from my list of shopping locations and I recommend yours as well.Follow up, contacted the manager, who chastised me for contacting corporate, corporate made the situation even worse with an untrained poor call center employee who just documented, No call back from Corporate, just pathetical.

I like stater brothers cheaper than Albertsons and their fresh fruit is really good. Used to shop there all the time because they served menudo on weekends and hot soups all the time

Love the deli here. Always great selection of meats and cheeses for the sandwiches at a good price of 11$ no matter what.I get black forest ham with muenster cheese and its amazing

Great selection in general. Upbeat staff for the most part...especially Kelvin~! Was disappointed that the Buy-6 wine discount was discontinued. Not a good retail move. Now that I have to stop at Albertsons for my wine...I have realized that they have a superior selection of Argentine Malbecs that Stater Bros. does. Oh well.

Dont go much at all but its a cool store I guess. We do shop there but we get our groceries delivered once a week. I only go there for OJ and chocolate milk if we happen to run out.

I drove clear across town to buy my weekly groceries, sadden how a cashier named Kelvin was very vocal indicating how miserable he was working six days a week 10 hours a day for the past 14 years. Ill think twice before I come back and spend $275 on a unhappy individual.

On Sunday morning, I was shopping here and a couple of cashiers were busy. When I was about to switch to another cashier, a manager was walking by, noticing it and not hesitated to help checking out my items. True leadership. Among other items, they have a good liquor store, a nice bakery, and fresh fruit. About the same way, the employee was not disrespectful and acted quickly to satisfy the customers needs. I highly recommend this store! Must try

Love this location, staff are always helpful and polite. Kids get a free cookie at the bakery! The bakery makes exceptional goods, we have ordered several cakes and loved all of them. The butchers and deli are always accommodating and helpful.

Just stopped by to get a few things. Store was very clean with well stocked shelves. Employees are all very nice and helpful. Check out was a breeze, very friendly employees. I always know that I can count on Staters having the items I need.The only negative I still have issue with is, multiple pricing. ( Example ) Must buy 3 to get the lower prices. If you cant buy 3, your forced to pay the higher price. Manufacturers give promotion $ to be passed along too consumers. Make them all the same, if you buy 1 or 3. Dont cut out us seniors.

Clean and when they saw too many people waiting they opened a new line,but the friendliness of the cashiers and the rest of the staff is missing since the addition of masks,unfortunately!!

Andrew in the meat department was awesome! On Sunday afternoon he was able to do 15lbs of ground chicken while I shopped the store. The Stater Bros. in Santa Ana asking me to come back in 3 hours because they were too busy to accommodate my request.

Love Stater Bros. I grew up going to one near my old house since I was a kid. The employees are awesome, super friendly and helpful. Shoppers are courteous but there are some that are a bit special, especially in the 15 items or less lanes. No personal space at all. They crowd you, provide endless supplies of looks and make one feel uneasy...and Yes, Im under the allowed items. Glad that I was brought up correctly or else I might be disrespectful towards a few of them. Parking is a bit tough at times so be warned. The store is well kept and offers great meat deals and specials throughout that help save some money.

I was at the store around 9:15am today and was surprised to see several customers not wearing mask. I thought it was mandatory for all customers too wear some type of face covereing. Normally I would give the store 5 stars but only 4 today due to lack of face coverings by customers and couple of guys in the liquor section.

Although this Staters Bros is about 2 miles from my house, I prefer this location over my closer location. Staff is very helpful and usually easy to find. Cashiers arent shy to chat as you check out which is always nice. Shelves are usually fully stocked and the store is always clean. The meat department staff is very helpful and knows their stuff which is my favorite part! They have some of the best cuts of meats in town! Only negative is some of their in-store advertising is confusing. Make sure to read the fine print.

Great Stater Bros groceries dont get me wrong. But just because of one Cashier with Big Attitude (Ashley H/12noon/Oct27th10)Ill give it a 1 star.

The store is clean, prices have historically been competitively priced however, noticing that the prices are steadily increasing..... thats not good. I caught them with something priced 70% greater than Amazon. Look we know you need to make a profit..... but Jeez. The staff are nice, friendly and normally willing to help in any way you can. Be careful about the carriages left strewn about by lazy shoppers who cant walk a few extra steps, but its Entitled Orange County what should we expect, right? ;)Its almost 4 stars....... but theres room for getting better.

This location has an excellent meat department. All employees are friendly and knowledgeable. You rarely have to wait very long for checkout. Darn good prices for most items.

Very nice and clean store! The meat department is great! I would suggest a ticket machine because with 10 people waiting and 3 people behind the counter its frustrating to remember whos next...I HATE THAT!! Meat department did not have premium chorizo that I like to buy they had suggestions for already packaged products which is not as good as their own. Nice bakery and deli😀

Dont need help finding what I wanted, but if you have 16 items, no line at the 15 items or less checkout the cashier will tell you its only 15 items or less go to another line. Personally when no one is in line or waiting behind you, WHATS THE BIG DEAL? LAZY CASHIERS. Ill do my shopping at Ralphs.... Their cashiers dont mind of you have 16 items in the 15 item line.

I arrived during the early shopping hour because at other stores this time includes not only the elderly but also immune deficienct or pregnant. And I am pregnant. This stater bros however does not care for any of the latter. I was rudely turned away and told I had to wait until 8 a.m. to enter so now I wont ever be returning.

I usually do my shopping at night. Store is clean, well stocked and meats are of high quality. I like shopping here.

The store itself is in pretty good shape. I can usually find any product Im looking for. The male cashiers are depressing. It looks like they hate life or have major problems. One in particular has open sores on his arms and while checking out my purchase he squeezed something one of these sores on his arm and then grabbed my bottle of water by the mouthpiece so I went home and threw it away! I aviod this location at all costs usually unless Im desperate since its on my way home.

Stater Bros is good place to go because it is a good place to get tampons and it is also good to get a good meal tide pods. Also a good place to buys shaver to fix your hairline.

Generally the employees in this store are not very friendly, the cashier was helpful and friendly though. I thanked the bagger to be polite even though he was slow and distracted, he didnt respond. I needed ground beef from the meat department, there were two people working, I waited, neither even bothered to look up. I finally asked for help and once the man I asked was done with what he was doing, he helped me. This review is for the Stater Brothers on Chapman Ave. in Orange. The employees are consistently rude and seem like they are put out by customers. Unfortunately this location is very convinant for me. The prices are good and the quality is decent, so I put up the poor customer service.
