I stopped by in hopes someone could remedy an issue with a charging port on my iPhone. Emily greeted me with a smile and provided attentive service even after I said I wouldnt be purchasing anything. She personally worked with my phone and corrected the problem. Im grateful to her for fixing the phone and for her enviable professionalism. Ill definitely return when it is time to buy.

Very rude to customersWaiting for the store to open for an hour and a half which I knew but traveled 3 hours to get her before they opened.20 minutes before they opened an employee ( Brenda store manager showed up and was very rude she said in a very loud and rude tone (YOU NEED TO NOT BE IN FRONT OF MY STORE) explained I was waiting to go into Verizon she said (ME TOO AND YOU NEED TO LEAVE MY STORE AND GO STAND SOMEWHERE ELSE). I cannot believe how they treat customers she could have been polite about it. I will be making a complaint to Corporate.

I have been dealing with verison all weekend trying to fix my phones, and it had been nothing but I huge nightmare. Drove 3 hours as I was told the orem utah store would be in fact open on a Sunday from 11 am -5 pm, that is also what the door says and online.It is now 11:15 am and no sign of any employee and still locked up tight.

My family has been with Verizon for more than 15 years. My father and I came to Verizon to basically get 3 new Iphone 12s. We walked into an understaffed Verizon store with people visibly getting upset and walking out because the wait was too long. After having waited for 2 hours my father had to leave and told me to call him once we got help. Thirty minutes later when it was finally my turn, Brenda decided to leapfrog me and help two other customers who had literally just walked in. When Brenda finally gets to me she immediately starts hustling me saying that she was late for her lunch break. She finally decides to look me up and basically tells me that I waited almost 3 hours for no reason, because Im not the account manager (who was literally there 30 min ago) and that even if I were to call him, there would be nothing that she could do for me. I was appalled that a Verizon Store Manager would be so unhelpful. My family and I dont usually make phone purchases, but from here on out if we do we will go out of our way to avoid the Verizon Store on University.

I have never had worse customer service care before. There was a worker named Tony that seemed to genuinely care about what was going on and tried to help but the other workers constantly telling me to have customer service take care of something??? Unbelievable. For context: I got the wrong phone color in the mail. So I went to the store to get it exchanged for the correct one. But it’s been two days of being told back and forth “call customer service” and then customer service telling me “go to the store”. I’m just so tired of this.

Lots of wasted time with online chat. Verizon should shut down their outsourced call centers and online chats. Their FB messenger isnt much better as they work in teams and you are constantly changing team members. You start over with each one. My problem was solved in store in a matter of minutes compared to 5 hours with scripted phone and chat reps that cannot comprehend simple concepts.It is amazing what human in person intelligent customer service can accomplish!

3rd time in the store since I went with Verizon. Manager (Patrick) was immediately offended I parked in the pickup stall... Sorry Patrick, the car in the stall over parked to close to the line to fit in the other parking stall... I was just trying to set up 4 more business lines with phones. His do what I say attitude along with his sorry, I cant help arrogance changed my mind. Horrible customer service. Horrible manager. Seems like every time I go into the Actual Verizon store (no an authorized dealer) I feel like my business as a Verizon customer is worthless and I dont deserve the time of day.Canceling Verizon ... going with a different service. We worked with Saul.We came in to get two brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max’s. Huge sale for them, you’d THINK they’d make extra sure not to mess up, right?How do I explain the last 5 hours of my life? Wasted seems too easy a description.It took them an hour and a half just to get us the phones. Which I was fine with passing off, life happens, you know? But oh no, it was just the beginning. They managed to change my number to a land line that wasn’t even Verizon’s in the first place. When we went to get that fixed, it took them 2 hours, and then they finally just admitted they couldn’t even fix it. We had to spend another hour contacting xFinity to get the number BACK to the landline it was supposed to be on in the first place.Then, when we asked how they wanted to make this better, since we just wasted 5 hours because of their mess up, they offer us $20. Really?I had to miss classes and work for this, my fiancé missed work for this. Because of your mistake, and your best response is “oops?”VERY disappointed in Verizon. This is my first experience with Verizon (I was a Sprint Company) and oh boy am I seriously considering going back if this is how my experiences are going to continue.

This has nothing to do with the store, Verizon in general is not being honest with its data packages. They throttle data anytime they want and count it against your 15g per month. They call it an unlimited plan when it isn’t. I would even be happy to pay more for a true unlimited plan, but they will not offer one. If you don’t use data, great company. If you use data, look somewhere else. They are very dishonest on this aspect.

Erick tried to rush the entire process of our visit and seemed incredibly annoyed the whole time. Waiting more than five seconds for verification codes to be sent, to choosing the color of the phones for more than five seconds caused sighing and deep breaths. Any questions we had about joining Verizon felt like he didn’t want us asking any questions or was annoyed we even tried. The other guy working there was friendly and smiled. Erick basically kicked us out as soon as he could. Terrible customer service. I wish Verizon would pay more attention to who they hire.

All I needed was a return label for my previous phone I had upgraded online and was told they couldn’t do it and to look in the app. I tried the app, it didn’t work. I then drove to the American Fork store and they handed me one without any issue.

If I could I would have never got into a Verizon contract. It’s an absolute nightmare trying to get help. If you do over night shipping for an updgrade it takes 5 days. After 4 hrs on the phone with them trying to get help I can honestly say I didn’t get one bit of progress most definitely changing my service to someone that costumer friendly.

I went in to upgrade a phone and add a line on my account. The gentleman helping me added multiple add-ons to my phone and new watch line that I had requested to opt out of. He did not go over the new plan or explain the fees and charges I could expect. He gave me an incorrect ship date on my purchased phone. He was dishonest and unhelpful overall. I had to spend over an hour on the phone with customer service trying to fix everything he messed up.

My wife tried to get help setting up her new Verizon phone. The Verizon representative treated her poorly, laughed at her, and was disrespectful towards her and her request for help. Retail associates should be respectful and helpful, especially when they are returning customers looking to continue spending money with your organization. I dont know if this is a Verizon wide issue, or an issue with this specific location. We are very frustrated by this, and my wife left without having any of the issues resolved or questions answered regarding her newly purchased phone. Something should be done to improve customer care, and if it is not done, I recommend that others shop elsewhere.

The guy helping me asked me if I could please buy a few extra add on items like glass protectors and a cellphone case so that he would get extra commission and then I could just return it in a couple days. I do sales for a living and this is honestly the worst type of sales person. I ended up not upgrading my phone and left because you shouldn’t have someone groveling to make commission.

Terrible service. Saul was obviously pushing for more money out of me from commission, and when he couldnt, he gave me the phone and the accessories he pressured me to buy and told me I could set it up myself. He was definitely passive aggressive throughout the whole process and alas at the end, after refusing to buy a new payment plan (because I wanted to buy my phone in FULL), he became standoffish and bluntly rude. Look at your reviews. You have so many 1-star reviews. Are you not going to do something about this ridiculous service that YOUR customers are calling out????

Phone was ordered 10/27 and the store cancelled 10/28 for it not being picked up. The order confirmation states 3 days to pick up. Now my account is saying the upgrade has gone through and I cannot place another order because it wants me to pay off a phone I do not have.

There was a guy training who was really helpful but the people training him were super NOT helpful. They strung us along for DAYS trying unsuccessfully to set up an account. The worst offense was when the supervisor was helping us, he was on the phone with customer service (on speaker) and with zero discretion and speaking at top volume he shared my name and my ENTIRE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with the whole store. He literally put my identity at risk, just trying to set up an account. I do not recommend going to this store. However T-Mobile was very helpful. Guess who my provider is now...

But here’s why:Got stuck here for two hours with a sticky third-party phone purchase situation, but the store manager, Dee, personally helped meout through the entire process which took nearly two hours! He made sure that everything worked out alright in the end and was a great guy to share such a long conversation with.I really appreciated the kindness he and the rest of the staff showed me and everyone I saw them interact with for my extended visit. I like verizon as a company, I feel like they have the best data plans and when I originally bought my phone here from Tony, I felt safe, taken care of and that everything was explained. I bought my phone in December and it stopped working yesterday after the shop was already closed. I had to take off work today so I could get a replacement only to find out that I would have to have it shipped to me and that they refused to replace it in store. I was talking with the morning manager the whole time and he was very difficult to work with. Then when he had me sign his Ipad, I asked if I could use the hand sanitizer that was sitting right in front of the store and he told me I could not use it, because I was not wearing a mask. I appreciate verizon as a whole and really enjoy their service, but I think that manager needs to be demoted to a general sales rep until he can learn basic customer service skills. Tony who originally sold me the phone was great, and understanding when I first bought the phone, but this morning manager, whose name I can not remember was a real jerk the entire time and refused to listen to my needs and address them. He was very selfish/self centered the entire time. Finally after several minutes had passed, I got him to send me my phone over night for 15 dollars as a replacement and that I could return the phone to the store rather than having to have it be shipped. He refused to extend my service or get a discount on my bill since I did not have service for the night yesterday and will not be having service until tomorrow. That is three extra days I am paying for no service. Although there was no physical damage. He still said it was my fault because of general wear and tear on the phone even if we could not see it. If there is any way I can get a discount on next months bill or get it pro rated that would be awesome. I know the people you hire in this store are generally good natured people who honestly enjoy serving others, however, this manager was the epitome of the opposite of what I am sure you would like your company to reflect. This is one of the best Verizon corporate stores I have been to. I am always quickly greeted, wait times are reasonable, and I get good service. I should warn that you need to be very clear about what additional stuff you want or dont want. For example, if you agree to insurance for your device, they default to the most expensive plan without mentioning that you have options. They are in sales first and foremost, but service is great and i havent felt pressured into buying anything I do not want.

My phone, which was in perfect condition, completely stopped working. When visiting the Verizon store, I was given a sticky note with a number to contact with no further explanation. It’s sad when I am being helped by an employee who has no idea what any of the phone promos are, lacks understanding of how the phone plans are structured, and is useless in helping me.I left the store unhappy, went to an authorized retailer and they were able to fix my problem in 15 mins.If you’re going to be a “Verizon” store, then teach your employees and staff about your product. Nothing frustrates a consumer more than an employee who is not educated on the product they provide AT ALL.Won’t be coming back here - I will be calling the main customer service line or going to an authorized retailer from now on.

Really the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only was our original salesman pushy and decided to give us a cheaper screen protector when he knew that the bundle would cover the better one, but when I went back to switch them out I received nothing but excuses. They tired telling me how the other one was just a gimmick. They told me every reason why they couldn’t do anything. I got them to admit they could fix it, but they would have to charge me again for the whole bundle and then I would have to wait 3-5 days for the “refund” on the exchange. What a joke! Will not go to this store again.

This is like the 9th time I have went to this Verizon Wireless store and have not been helped very well at all! First of all, when I got their with my two kids that have gizmo watch phones, I told the employee that I needed 2 things. 1- help correcting my gizmo app so I could communicate and manage my kids phones (app wouldnt allow me to text or manage my childrens phones anymore) 2- I asked to upgrade my phone on our business account. Short answer is, they didnt help or solve either of my requests. We have a business account there and a family account through Verizon, you think they would treat us right. I run a business as the program director and my boss (owner) has added me to the approved names to manage account several times. Well, the Verizon employee spent 20 minutes telling me my kids gizmo would be worthless next year (wanting me to upgrade), to which I entertained the idea, but ultimately said Id just fix the app for now (which he never even tried to fix). Then As I tried to upgrade my phone, he said You are not main name on account, you cannot make changes. I said lets call the main guy then and get his permission . He then acted put out and had me walk to the back. I got my boss (main owner of business and phone account). The employee talked to him for several minutes and could not approve him over the phone to upgrade my phone. He could of verified owner by asking some questions (you know like everyone else does). My boss then said, just put him on approved list to manage my phone account. Still, employee acted like I was asking him to move mountains. Employee said Owner had to come in person (we live 1 hour away).....Nope, nothing. He then said sorry I cant help you. Never got help with either of my 2 requests and wasted an hour. Also, I knew more about their promotions and deals than the incompetent employee did. Thanks for nothing!

Its a Verizon store. Staff could be better, but Im sure they cycle through new people every few months. Every customer service job does. Try to go before 4pm, or you will be waiting at the very least one hour. after 6:30, expect two hour wait.The store is nice, I wish they had better seating so waiting would be more comfortable. I guess they want you to look at the phones, and not sit down to look at your own.All in all, just dont go after 4pm and youll have a good experience.

Worst customer service I have revived I am here at 5:20 pm on a Saturday and there is one person on the floor while 4-5 people are in the back I asked Saul to grab someone from the back who was previously helping us but was told he’s busy without even checking. This Verizon store location is the worst. Every staff member acts like they know more than you and treat you like your time isnt as important as theirs. I have always had to wait more than a reasonable amount of time for the service that I am getting. Dont spend your money here! I purchased a phone case that was broken and when I tried to return it they said they couldnt find the proof of purchase and treated me like garbage. I wish I could bill them for my time wasted and dealing with support staff that have no idea what good customer service looks like.

I got everything taken care of fine with pleasant employees, but I had to wait over 40 minutes. I suppose I should have called ahead or made an appointment online.Also, I was told that resetting my iPhone by holding the top and home buttons pretty often (every week) is a good idea to keep it working well. When I was at Apples website later that evening, I noticed their instruction to reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Went in to switch over from AT&T and it was impressive how much the associate acted like he couldnt care less about it. He asked what phone I wanted then shoved a bunch of accessories at me and wouldnt answer any of my questions. He acted too busy to be able to answer most of them and deflected the others. He also set up my phone plan incorrectly so that I had to spend another 3 or 4 hours on the phone with Verizon cleaning up the mess the sales associate had made. I give two stars because I spoke with a few other associates later and they were more pleasant and concerned with my questions.

Ive used and loved Verizon for three years now, and this experience was no different. Knew exactly what I wanted, and there was no pressure from their sales team for me to upgrade or buy accessories-- they just mentioned their options. I bought a case, but passed on the glass screen cover. I got home and noticed there was a tiny scratch on my case, so I went to exchange it the next day with no issues and ultimately decided to purchase the glass screen cover as well. Wonderful customer service in both experiences, and the store manager texted me and thanked me for coming into their store. Verizon continues to offer A+ customer service, and I am a loyal customer.

Cyber Monday rolls around. I go in with a deal I found offering me a free phone and tablet with a renewal of my contract. I specifically ask the sales rep if I would need to pay anything extra for it. He tells me that I would. I say, Oh, well in that case, Ill just take the phone. I would only use the tablet on wifi and to show my portfolio to prospective employers. He then tells me that hell see what he can do for me.Sales rep tells me not to worry about it. I clarify with him and say, So I wont have to pay extra per month for this tablet, right? He responds, Yes. So, Im elated. Im renewing my contract and score a free tablet I wont have to pay more for per month. I only ever heard of things like this happening at the apple store. It was only because of hearing stories of amazing customer service like that that I actually believed in it.January comes around. I get charged for the tablet. I go to the sales rep and he takes care of it and removes the charge. I asked, Do I have to return this tablet? He tells me that I dont and not to worry.February comes around. Im charged again. I go to the store this time and ask whats up. Turns out, I shouldnt have gotten that deal in the first place. If I want to keep the tablet Id have to pay for it. I feel manipulated and disrespected. I was clear with the resp at the very beginning and got screwed over. I was originally all for being loyal to Verizon and thinking of renewing again but Im done with them.Save yourself the time and money. This is a joke.

My wife and I went to this Verizon store to change her provider to Verizon and to add her to my account. The whole change over process was a joke. We wanted to keep her number for obvious reasons. When we went to sign here up with Verizon at this location they said she needed to go and cancel it with the other provider. After going to the other providers store and canceling it we returned. When we returned to activate it they said they couldnt use her old number till we finish the month out with the old provider. Then they could get the number and use it. So we went back to the provider and asked them to activate it till then end of the payment period that month.After doing that then going back to the Verizon store they gave us a temporary number to have with the phone upgrade. Once the payment period ended Verizon was going to put the right number to the right phone. We had the old phone and phone number forward the messages and calles to her new Verizon phone.Fast forward to when the number was suppose to change over to Verizon. Well to make a long story short, it didnt. We went there to see what they could do to get her old number on the Verizon phone. Verizons solution was to keep the temporary number because they couldnt do anything about it.Now my wife gets calls everyday from around the country looking for the previous owner and annoying recorded marketing calls. All thanks to this Verizon location giving us the runaround and not keeping their promises. Even after we have done everything they told us.Dont use this location go up the street to the mall or any other location.

Verizon is the best carrier, and you should expect to pay a bit more for it. If you want cheap go to Walmart Prepaid. I love my phone, and I love that I have reliable service. You get what you pay for.

This place is like Disneyland, except for no rides, food, or happiness. I fully recommend going to a different store. Both times Ive come here in the evening it has taken forever to get any help. The store in the mall is usually much faster, but I had to come here tonight. They told me 20 mins as I walked in the door, and Ive just passed my hour mark. Ill definitely avoid this store in the future.- Once I was finally able to talk with someone, I enjoyed my experience a lot me. He had great customer relations and was helpful and friendly.

Not that any experience with Verizon is a good one, but Kayla, a representative at this location is especially unhelpful. I went in on Black Friday weekend (Saturday) with my mom to ask about options for a new phone. She was condescending when we asked if they would be open the next day (which happened to be a Sunday), and was equally condescending when we tried to ask about different new versions of the iPhone (XR vs. 11, etc.) insisting that my mom get a Samsung, which she has done before and hated. I was interested in the Pixel 3, and when I said so, she said “I have never sold a Pixel” and “I don’t think I could physically sell you a Pixel” and tried to pressure me to buy a Samsung, which I am not interested in. She wouldn’t even look into or fully explain the potential Black Friday deals that there were, and we ended up not getting me the new phone which I desperately need because they were all sold out by the time we got a straight answer from someone at a different store (the Monday after this incident).I returned today with my friend to see about getting her screen fixed. Kayla was there again and was very impatient with my friend while trying to get into the account. When she asked for ID to access the account, Kayla made some sarcastic comment about the military ID provided by my friend.Overall Kayla was unhelpful and condescending and I would rather waste gas to go to a store further away than to come to this location again.

Had an issue with my plan and went back to the store to fix it. Spoke to the manager and he took care of us right away. Was only there for less than 5 minutes. First experience was not the best thats why I am only giving it 4 stars. I recommend always going to the manager for any issues instead of the salesmen.

So my wifes phone is starting to break, and since she has had the insurance on it for the entire life of the phone, we went into the store to investigate our options. The worker who helped us was very inadequate. He was more set on telling us what we couldnt do than telling us what our options were. When we finally made it clear to him that we would like to try repairing/replacing our current phone, he simply gave us a pamphlet (in spanish, mind you) with the phone number circled. We came back an hour later to look into options with the new phones. We didnt want to pay for data, so we had four available phones to choose from. We liked one, so we asked about it. Apparently they didnt have the color we wanted. So he basically told us to come back in two weeks. Can we not order one to store? Or order from the store? He was not the brightest crayon in the box.

Not terribly pleased. There was a long wait time and then one of the employees finished with a customer and started a conversation about their dog instead of helping the next person in line.I came here because the phone I got replaced with insurance stopped connecting to cell service. The best they could do was send me a phone that should arrive my 8 PM the next day. You never realize how much you depend on calling, texting, and roaming internet until you no longer have it. Wish they could give me a temporary phone right away.

Terrible experience. Came here after customer service told us too, due to system issues with giving us the promotional trade in value for my husbands phone at the university place location. Came to this corporate store in Orem and they refused to help us, told us that they couldn’t give us the promotional trade in value because it was now past the promo date, even though we had purchased the phone during the promotional event. Patrick and drake were “helping” us, and told us that they couldn’t do anything about our problem, because they were a corporate store and were completely separate from the Verizon store up the road. We were there for a good 30min-1 hour at least, and they got nothing done at all. Terrible customer service, didn’t want to fix our problem even though they could. I would highly recommend the Verizon university location, they fixed our problem in 15 minutes. Stay away from this ridiculous corporate location.

For ever is the amount of time it takes to get them on track. Then they just go off again and again. They all lie. The store said one thing. The people on the phone said something else. Then the next phone call the change their mind. And say go to the store to get taken care of. There is no winning. I changed phone companys and have not had the the fustration from then to now.

I went in to buy a new phone. JUST THE PHONE, NOT every single accessory known to man that can go with it. Also, It took about 45 mins just to speak with someone about getting the new phone then I sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for him to bring it out and even once he finally did, I had to sit for another half an hour listening to him go on about every cool phone case and portable speaker and whatnot that I should buy with it. I would have said I wanted to get those things If I wanted to. Verizon may have good coverage but not good customer service.
