This is kinda embarrassing to admit, but I had the hardest time trying to take out my video card so I could replace my cmos. battery, it would not come off, even after releasing the leaver. I called pc smith, he was super nice fixed it for a very affordable price. He even noticed the heat sink had some dust, so he cleaned that all out too! Superb service and super affordable, I wont go anywhere else now!

The sudden loss of sound in my laptop was disconcerting, given my reliance on that feature. My laypersons fumbling with various potential fixes failed, so I turned to Google for a local repair shop. He then proceeded to change a long listing of settings of which I had been unaware, continuing to explain as he went along, improving functioning and privacy considerably. Jonathan was able to help me the same day I called, which was important because I use this laptop for work. He cleaned it, checked the fan, and fixed a few other things, including some software tweaks to make it run faster. I own my own 3D and motion graphics business. I do work for leading companies who demand high quality work quickly. I need the best and most reliable computer parts out there. My work is very taxing on even the best machines, so I need the beefiest machine I can put together that will run my programs the best. I had another computer company I was planning on using, but they are out of business, so I found The PC Smith. After reading reviews, I decided to contact him and see if he could build me a new workstation. I explained what I needed and he was able to do research and gave me a list of parts that would be optimal for my needs. He found great deals on the parts and had them ordered quickly. He build my machine and tested it thoroughly, overclocking it to the best amount and even upgrading the heat sinc to a better one to prevent the system from running hot. My system was ready for me in no time, and he even installed one of my 3D programs on it and did a bench test to see how it compared to other machines. Needless to say, it stomps the other systems easily. My new machine is ridiculously fast, complex 3D scenes run smooth and render 2x faster than with my old workstation. The system is solid and isnt full of junk programs. I had all my programs installed and running on it quickly and have been putting the machine through its paces for weeks. Absolutely fantastic service. This is the type PC attention people dream of. My appointment was at 5:30 PM. I was five minutes late and (I forget his name) was there waiting for me. I was there for 30 minutes while he fixed it right in front of me. PC works great now!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!OH BTW. At the end, with everything running great. He quoted me $35.00. I paid $50.00. Realistically, any other place would have charged me at least $100+... and taken 2-3 days.

I sought out the PC Smith to fix a cracked touch screen on my laptop. I was a little confused when I pulled up and realized that the PC Smith operates out of an apartment complex, but I decided to give him a shot, and I was very satisfied with the service. He was super flexible with scheduling a time to meet up with me and sounded like he knew his stuff. He ordered the part I needed within minutes and began working on the repair the day it arrived. He was really good about keeping me up to date on the progress of the shipping and the repair.It would have been a perfect story, but he had a mishap while reassembling my laptop. He told me that a static short likely fried some connections and the laptop wouldnt turn on. He took full responsibility for the accident and bought me a brand new laptop that was a newer model of the one I had. He even offered to refund my money for the repair. I turned him down on the refund, and he went to the trouble of cleaning up my new laptop from bloatware, downloaded antivirus protection, and converted the hard drive from my old laptop into an external hard drive. Its cool to see small businesss like this operate with such exceptional professionalism and treat their customers so well. I am very happy with the experience, and he has earned a customer for life.

I needed a larger SSD hard drive (2TB) for my computer. PC Laptops quoted me over $800. PC Smith 1 sold me the same size drive, but a better quality, for only $250 and installed it for a small fee. They also sell custom laptops for a very competitive price. Next time I buy a laptop, I’m going to PC Smith.

I recently purchased a used laptop from my husbands school as they were providing new ones to all the teachers. I thought I was getting a good deal at $150, but the laptop arrived with a dying hard drive. This was a no money back purchase. I did some research on computer repair businesses online and made a few phone calls. I made a great decision with The PC Smith1. The technician was right on time at 2:30 and spent 2 1/2 hours working on my computer, while i watched and asked questions. He explained everything he was doing. he was very knowledgeable and friendly. His prices were a flat rate no matter how long he had to be here. He did a complete tune up and got rid of many programs I did not use. Most importantly he got rid of a lot of malware viruses, which my paid-for anti-virus program let through. He even taught me how to defragment, clean the disk, and a few other things to keep my computer running better. I will never call anyone else if I need help with my computer. He definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

Wonderful experience with Johnathan. Many of the big name brick and mortar stores often nickel and dime you, charging you simply to run diagnostic tests before even figuring out was wrong. Im sure that this cannot always be the case but here, I was charged for the work he did. Figuring out what work needed to be done was out part of it. Again, probably not always the case but I highly recommend him.

I bought a Acer computer from PC Smith just before Christmas its been a great computer with its digital drive. Johnathan removed all the bloatware and it boots so much faster than my old computer!
