The storage unit was nice and the move in process was easy. The downsides were that it was a pain to get them to refund me for bringing my own lock (I was pretty close to calling corporate to complain) and some lady kept calling me trying to get me to download the Public Storage app by droning on and reading off some prepared script. I did not download the app.

We had the best service here. Terri was very courteous and explained everything in detail. The rates were great and the app they had made entering and exiting way smoother than other places I’ve used.

Clean inside, very organized and seemless check-in. The 1$ for the first month didnt hurt either. First time using a unit and I recommend this place. Oh yeah and the temp is kept in the 70s inside. Very nice.

Nice and CleanParking is not close to the doors. If you want to unload close to the doors you need to park in front of someone else’s storage unit door.Sometimes the carts they have for you to use are locked up but they have carts so that is nice.There aren’t any lights or plugs in the unit so it’s kind of hard to see.There is a 6” opening at the top so I don’t know what’s getting into my unit.If the market value of the unit goes up corporate will raise your price. This location has no control over that.Front office is nice and helpful.

I gave a 4 star as they have good prices and the staff was very nice. However, we purchased a 5×8 and when we opened our unit on move in day- it didnt seem like the dimensions were exact. It was more of a 5x7ish. I called the office and they stated that its a round that dimension. So keep in mind when you purchase that it may be a bit smaller than anticipated.

Don’t trust this company! I called to make a reservation was told that I had a reservation for the unit size I needed and quoted a price. Suddenly they didn’t have the unit I needed but they had a “more expensive unit” available.

Today I walked in to public storage and Autumn guided me to the exact storage unit that I rented 15 minutes later. She was extremely helpful in describing all fees and month to month agreements. Im very appreciative. Would recommend.

Okay. I previously gave this a 5 star rating, but Im changing it. Im definitely cancelling my account with these people as soon as I can.In my previous review, I praised them for how cheap and upfront they are. Theyre definitely cheap, Ill still give them that, but theyre definitely not honest. I have some important things in my storage unit that I needed at 6am, Im in the military so it was a last minute thing but thats just how the army works. Online it says that the gates are open at 6am so I didnt think it was an issue, but the whole building was locked. I called them and without an ounce of sympathy or feeling, the woman on the phone told me Id have to wait until 9:30am when the building opens to get my own belongings.Thats very misleading, dont say that youre going to be open at 6am if thats not true. Ive had issues in the past as well and they were not greeted with employees who want to help their customers. I updated my payment information one day and they called me to say that my payment didnt go through. I told them to check again and after being out on hold for a while they came back and said I was fine.Another time the payment actually didnt go through, but this time they waited to call me until after the payment was late. The conversation went like this, we saw that you missed your payment so now you have a late fee, when are you going to pay your bill? I cant effectively communicate the tone that was used, but I was offended at how blunt and rude they were. My bill is usually $25/month but they late fee made it $50. I dont understand why they had to double the price but okay. I told them Im a full time college student and I cant really afford that so I asked if they could waive it; she told me shed request it for me but I probably wouldnt get it waived. Thanks for looking out for me, I really feel valued.Mostly Im upset that their website says gates open at 6am but really they dont open until 9:30am. Im getting in trouble with my military unit now because of this situation. Even if you dont open until 9:30am, that needs to be communicated better. Take better care of your people.Im going back to my previous storage facility because they have longer gate hours, they never had any issues with my payment, and every interaction I had with them was helpful and pleasant (none of which I experienced here).

I am SO happy I went with my gut! I originally reserved with another storage facility in Orem. I was about to sign the papers when I heard them talking about being broken into several times and they still hadnt caught the person. I wasnt very impressed to begin with and this confirmed why I didnt have a great feeling here. I put the pen down and said, i think Im going to look around some more.I remembered driving by and seeing the large storage building with orange. I drove back and talked to Andrea. She went way above and beyond to give me all the details up front and made sure I had the size of unit that was right for me. This has been a stressful time for me and she made my day so much brighter! She is such a great empathetic people person who knew all the details I asked her about the business. Ive also dealt with the manager over the phone and she was also great to work with!Talk about a completely different experience! I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone!

Its fairly cheap, and easy to sign up for. They have carts to move your stuff so you dont have to carry it, and a huge elevator which is so nice!

Terry and Andrea assisted me with renting a unit in September 2020 and were fantastic. My move was delayed until October and I realized that I would need a larger unit. They were able to quickly find a larger unit for me and easily facilitated the change.They were helpful and informative and offered suggestions and answered questions about my move and moving supplies and contacted me after to follow up. As far as customer service is concerned this place is professional and nice. The hours for access is 6am to 9pm... not great... no 24 he access available at all... must pay 20 bucks for lock... non refundable....even with the $1.00 first month rent its 45 to move in with fees and lock.... and then rent is always due on the 1st...

I have been a public storage customer for over a year now and I appreciate everything that they have done for me. I’ve had issues with finances and a divorce and issues with my storage unit and they have worked with me. Andrea is fabulous she understands what’s going on they have a lock on my unit so that nobody can get in there. I am just really happy with their service and appreciate everything that they’ve done for me during this time of trial and crisis for me.

The office staff is very helpful. They listen to you, and work to serve your needs. They recently made a credit back on our account. They emailed and called me, to let me know the action they had taken. I appreciate the efforts they went to, and timely communication.

Great experience setting up a storage unit reservation and Margaret was a huge help. Very thorough about the pricing and any detailed questions that we had. Only thing that would make it better is if the dimensions for the cylinder key lock were listed so we could buy a cheaper option without measuring it ourselves.

Terri helped me and my boyfriend find the perfect sized storage area for his stuff for a great price! She was so helpful, nice and very patient with all of our questions and answered everyone of them. The facility was nice and clean and plenty of room for moving things in and out. We just wish there was some sort of door stopper to help hold open the door for us.

I just want to let Public Storage know that Terri up front desk was super nice and I have to say I would love to see her in office every time I visit this place. She gave me 5 star service and helped me pick out the size i wanted with extra room as I requested. I was able to pick out the perfect size unit. I love this location the elevator makes it very convenient. The A/C however needs to be a bit cooler in the hallways. Having a cart to push around makes moving extremely easy and convenient. Without it I would have to lower my ratings. The carts are an absolute need. Terri should get a raise because shes super friendly. Orem location is the first location that has 3 levels with carts and elevator. Environment control but not super effective but nice effort though. Needs to be cooler in the summer time. For how much Im paying and everyone else they should be able to make the A/C work more effectively I dont know just a suggestion. Ill always use public storage for my storing needs. First month rent $1 is always a dead giveaway to choose Public Storage!!! (You do have to buy a lock and insurance though for it)

Good luck finding them there when they advertise. Ive chosen to pay in person as my first experience convinced me they werent trustworthy so I dont want to give them my personal financial information.Youll never know when they take a lunch break. Ive been there in the morning a half hour after opening time and no one is there. Ive written a complaint but the manager is only interested in excuses. I went there today to pay for this month and while their web site says they are open, they arent. Ive left a message with the district manager and well see.

I have been very happy with my experience at the Orem Public Storage. The facility is clean and well maintained! Terri was especially helpful with getting me the right size storage unit for my needs and made sure that I was taken care of by going above and beyond!! She even called me a week later to follow up and make sure my move went smooth and see if I needed anything else! Most storage facilities seem the same and I found it hard to choose one facility over the other, but I’m glad I chose this one and I’d definitely recommend storing here thanks to the care I received from Terri!

Both Terri and Margaret were very helpful and accommodating. I stopped by right before closing and they both walked me around to show me a few units even though they could have been closing up. Then, when I got a unit, Terri did a great job giving me all the details of the rental contract. I thought it was a good experience overall.Just a few thoughts for those looking into this place:You have to have insurance on the unit, I think that is typical, but good to know.They try to up-sale you on moving and storage supplies. Not too hard, but just be aware. Some of the things are good though. I bought a couple extras.Sometimes it can get crowded around the door to the inside units, but it works out because they have carts to bring out to your car and get your things.Overall, the place is very clean and very reasonably priced if you reserve them on your computer. I found that on my phone and in-store, the prices were different.

They are super exspensive. I left to state street storage because the prices are way better. This place charges you for many charges other places dont. Dont be fooled by by the $1 pitch. Its not fully the way its seems.

Was searching for a unit for my mother and Terri at the Orem Public Storage location made the process easy. Everything was setup up the same day I went to check out the unit. Also, for those who mentioned the move-in fee, thats a fee that every storage unit place charges, so including the $1 promo, $25 for your first month is still a fantastic deal. There is an elevator, everything looked clean, and they provide carts.

Clean and smells great lol, jokes aside I really liked the one to one with the office workers and they have good service. Narciso was great help good job buddy.

I am actually moving my current storage because of the reputation and security Public Storage provides. I had some questions and wanted to confirm what size would be best. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable as we saw the unit she felt would be good based on what I needed. Perfect of course. Margaret completed my account, helped me open it for the first time and made sure anything I needed to call her or anyone on staff, but she would be sure that any question or need would be handled promptly and with kindness. After reserving a space and filling out online forms I arrived on my start renting date to be told they had just barely rented out” my unit. Then they told me they couldnt offer me a substitute. Finally the manager came up with a solution, instead of the 1/2 garage- sized unit I had reserved I could have a walk-in closet sized unit. Gee thanks. Lamely she added, sorry. Yep, well, me too. Took my business right over to Extra Space Storage and was treated with unhurried courtesy and friendliness, even tho by then it was closing time.

DO NOT TRUST THE $1 FIRST MONTH PROMOTION. It is a scam, they have so many fees that you end up paying well over the price of a standard month even with that $1 supposed promotion. I would love to give this place a one star review, but the units are so nice and the prices are reasonable enough that I have to give it at least two, unfortunately.

Terri made my application process quick and easy. She gave me a tour of the place and showed me that the facility has carts to make moving your boxes easier and they have bathrooms that are accessible during office hours. She was very friendly and was willing to help me last minute.

Honestly I was really frustrated I stored some stuff for a few months and they told me when I left to just remove my lock and I was set that I didn’t need to let them know or anything. Well I did that and they charged me for an additional month. I liked the unit up until that point but it is really frustrating that they would charge me even after I had everything moved out before the next month.
