They are fast and knew exactly just what needed to be fixed. Repairman walked me through the process. Highly recommended and will be the only place I call for any issues I have with my home appliances.
Very responsive, good tracking of technician, each of them have been very professional. Great with different brands. Will recommend.
Denny was our technician. He was awesome. Knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. Fixed a mistake of a technician we had from our previous repair company. Highly recommended! Thank you.
On the spot repair! Thought I would have to buy a new electric stove, your man saved the day! Thank you!
Our service was excellent. Washer trouble fix right the first time.
A disaster. The washer repair requested was the most basic of all, replacing a lid lock, easily self-diagnosed by referencing the digital code with the owners manual. The representative was professional and courteous but spoke no English and was unable to communicate effectively with me. He looked confused and it seemed as if he had never seen a washer before, even though the repair is by far the most common. His opening was to request the owners manual. I showed him the manual online and the diagnostic code for the lid lock. Because the lid lock issue was intermittent and did not display the error code while he was here, I showed a photo of the error message and then showed him the code definition on the manual. He then at my request agreed to purchase, and installed, the lid lock (a step any owner can do with time and the right-size tool, neither of which I had at the time). I attempted to use the washer moments after he left and within seconds a new error appeared, low fill meaning that the machine was not draining properly and could not be used. This is a 4 year old appliance that, other than the lid lock, was functioning perfectly. The repair he completed caused a new problem far worse as the washer was now inoperable. At my request, he returned 3 days later to investigate and after 30 minutes I went to check on the status (in the garage) and found the garage floor, and my belongings, soaked with water. He allowed water to drain onto the floor, and flow throughout to the entire length of the garage, without even letting me know even though I was 10 steps away inside the house. He had the control panel off and announced that the control panel needed to be replaced. In other words, he damaged my washer by replacing a simple part AND damaged hundreds of dollars of my personal property. I requested, and received, the money paid for the failed repair but the corporate owner (they apparently outsource the work to local contractors) refused to refund the cost of the initial visit and diagnosis, even after I disputed it with the credit card company and even though their representative was not competent, damaged my property, and could not complete a proper diagnosis. So I am out $60 plus permanent damage to furniture and personal belongings stored in the garage and ended up buying a new washer anyway. I paid $60 for someone to damage my property AND break my washer. This is the exact opposite of a repair and the very last time I will ever try to have an appliance replaced.
Great experience from start to finish. I called for service for my noisy refrigerator. His diagnosis and educated explanation of why replacing my 16 year old fridge made sense and really put my mind at ease. This guy was honest and I won’t hesitate calling them again!
Service was fast easy and secure. This company gave me peace of mind! I recommend to everyone who wants reliable service.
As a landlord, I think that Doctor Phillips Appliance Repair is a top rate. Communication and scheduling were flawless. Always courteous, diligent and professional. They always carry parts with them so most of the time repair gets done the day they visit. They always make sure that everything works before leaving. Customer service is not a question, I always have been given quality service. Judging from my 17 years in real estate and landlording, they are professionals!
All machines I had them maintained and fixed in the restaurant are working fine. Very happy with this company’s job and rates. I would continue hiring you guys!!
When I made my appointment, I provided the service technician with the make and model of my Electrolux induction oven. We scheduled service for 8-11 the following day. At 10 am, I received a call that the scheduled technician wouldnt be available and asked if I wanted to reschedule with another technician from 3-4 that day. I agreed and the technician arrived at 4:15. He proceeded to take apart the induction range, spent some time flipping through the manual, and then told us that it was too complex and that he didnt want to risk looking further into the issue. After receiving no response to my message, I called DP Appliance again and the customer service representative read back the technicians notes that the issue was too complex and that we needed to call Electrolux. The customer service representative then explained that this type of stove was too complex for them to work on. I asked why DP Appliance accepted the job to begin with and he said that the service representative who scheduled the call didnt give the technician the model number and that they dont normally work on these types of stoves. Please be aware that this company subcontracts to technicians and will accept a job without confirming that they have a technician who is qualified to work on your specific make/model. Unfortunately, we now have further mechanical issues with the oven (it was just the range before). I made my appointment based on the online reviews and wanted to share this information to assist in a future decision. This is actually the first negative review of a company that I have ever written. Dr. Phillips Appliance provided only a partial refund for the service call and requested that I not post a negative review, as the service technician did provide a diagnosis. I respectfully disagree and my compliant is that they should have never accepted the job to begin with as they were aware of the type of range that it was. They should have provided the technician with the information and the technician should have been up front that he didnt work on Electrolux induction stoves instead of trying to work on something that he was not qualified to do.
Great job done in a timely manner. Everyone was nice and accomodating.
Most expensive store.
Great service
Really great service and affordable prices
Coulndt even get anyone on the phone!
Awful experience; the fix they did lasted 1 week; they offered 90 days warranty parts and labor; I have been calling them to come back to fix it with no success, they keep telling theyll call back, which never happened; today customer service just hung up on me; They do not have their own staff, they subcontract.
