I have recently purchased a 68 camaro and I started coming back into American Motor Sports to buy or order several parts to complete the build. I have been dealing exclusively with Tim, who I met from my last build, a 55 Ford f100. I have to say I have never had anyone at any business treat me like I was part of the family. He knows me by my first name and he bends over backwards to get me what I need and in a timely manner. It reminds of how businesses were ran when I was a younger man. I have been so impressed in fact that I introduced him to a friend of mine who has spent a ton of money on his build because of how Tim has treated him. I love American Motor Sports and I thank you guys for the service I have received over the past several years. You guys are awesome!

I just want to tell everyone what great service I get from Tim whenever I shop there. Hes always extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. His knowledge of Ford engines is immense! If I could rate him higher than 5 stars I would!

Called for prices and experienced the absolute worst customer service. Tim answered my call rudely and immediately was irritated and argued with me on what I wanted to buy. He told me parts were backordered that werent. I called another shop and they informed me that parts were available in stock and the manufacturer had plenty. Will never deal with him again. Was told by other resources that he is always in a bad mood, not what I want when making a purchase.

Was at a car show that they held in their backyard for the veterans. Awesome car show never been to the shop until that day. Walked in it was my candy store. They had a lot of everything a racer needs for high performance. I didnt ask any questions I was just mesmerized with all the stuff they had to offer. When I start my next project I definitely will be going here to buy any performance parts that I need. The photo I posted is of one of the cars that was parked in their garage. If i could give more than 5 stars i absolutely would. I went in to have my 2 bottles of nitrous filled up and upon leaving noticed i had a leak. went back to my car to see its not something i could fix without draining the bottle. went back in and i can’t remember his name but he helped me out a TON. he thought quickly and grabbed his personal bottle, drained mine into it, fixed the leak, drained it back into my bottle than topped my bottle off. saved me from having to lose the nitrous and saved me money. HUGE thank you to the guys at American Motorsports for being so nice to a first time customer there. will most definitely be back when im around!

Last time I was there, I plopped brake calipers on the counter and asked Eddie to help me figure out brake line fittings. No problem. Whether you need parts, help, advice, etc... go see these guys. The owner is in the house and that makes all the difference. Screw Summit, pay the sales tax and support guys with the knowledge and product over the counter when you need it. Their pricing is fair, and they save you money with knowledge. Whats that worth to you?

The people that work there are nice an Friendly and more then willing to order anything you need . until the parts you special ordered disappeared! an you drive 1 hr round trip .just to be told that they have to reorder your parts an you get 2 of 3 right! and then theres a $10 price difference between the piece you need an the piece you were given!! So instead of just saying sorry about all the trouble for the mix ups hear you go just call it even just To keep you business NOPE!! $10 an a suxs to be you... guess who just lost my business ... vary disappointed 😡😡Just an update on this incident the owner his self contacted me personally an has made things right with me an was kind enough to apply a store credit for me an told me if I have anymore issue to contact hem personally an he would be more then willing to help in any way he could thank you again

Called to get a quote on installing bbk shorty headers to my 2017 mustang v6. Was told that they won’t do it simply because I wouldn’t be satisfied with installing headers to my car... apparently installing shorty headers and even installing longtube headers to my car wouldn’t change the performance aspect at all and what was really astonishing is it would also not change the sound one bit😂.If someone try’s to tell you that longtube headers won’t change the sound of your car simply because it’s a newer car is honestly funny. Thousands of people install headers to their new mustangs and have a drastic change in sound including multiple people I know personally. Long story short, don’t trust a mechanic that tells you new headers won’t change the sound of your car. Wish I could post a before and after video in here just to prove this “knowledgeable mechanic wrong”.
