Brought my 2017 BMW 320i in to get new brake pads and rotors. Job was done pretty quick. Had a noise issue with the brakes after driving off. I just wanted to share a great story I with Dealer Service Alternative.I own a small car rental company. I had one of my BMW get a check engine light that came on. I was calling around to other shops and was told we can not do that type of work and being told to go to the dealer, worst nightmare right. I then recalled one of my neighbors mentioning his business in our neighborhood posts, Dealer Services. I gave them a call and told them about the issue the BMW was having. Larry told me yes, we can certainly diag that issue however i can not get you in for a couple days. At this point i was really bummed out because i really need to get this car back on the road ASAP. In short, I explained the situation to Larry and was stuck in a bad situation as I had renters I needed to get this car back out to. At this point Larry was like bring it in and we will try to squeeze it in between other things, thank you much Larry on that.Here is where is gets fun, I usually dont try and play a card unless in emergency. This morning I was running late to an 8AM appointment, made it there at 8:20. I was told that my car would be ready around noon, mind you I was waiting. I could not be mad because I was the one that was late. 1000AM my car was ready!! WHAT! I was told there was a bigger job that was going to take roughly 2hrs and that car was on time. The gentlemen in the back took care of me first so that I would not be sitting there till this afternoon. I have been going to this establishment for 3 years now and the customer service has been consistent which is EXCELLENT!!! I called and spoke with Larry Joe about an issue with my car. Although at least part of what I need is something that can only be addressed by the dealer, he took the time to fully explain what is needed and how best to request the service. What a great human being who actually cares about helping people! I will definitely be back for other services.Update: I visited for an oil change and inspection. They did a great job of getting me in and out quickly, and communicated everything clearly. I waited at the shop and while they dont have a huge amount of space I was able to work comfortably while I waited... a table in the nice shaded area outside might be a nice addition for people waiting. Ive taken my Audi Q5 to Dealer Service Alternative for over 2 years. I am so glad that I found them! The front desk staff is always kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Alex, the owner, takes time to explain the work that is done to your car and answers all your questions. As a woman, I never feel condescended to or fear being taken advantage (since I know little about mechanics). And as a final bonus, but very impressive to me, is how clean and organized this shop is.

This is a great alternative to going to the dealership. I found this business by accident when the Audi dealership could not fix my vehicle. DA diagnosed my vehicle without me saying a single thing about my experience with the dealership and confirmed what should have been addressed the first time at the dealership. I learned an expensive lesson from the dealership but Im a big fan of DA now. Larry Joe is great. He has great insight and provides good service. I would recommend this vehicle repair service if you own a luxury vehicle. When they couldnt fix my non luxury vehicle they were honest about it and made a great recommendation to another business and they did great too. Just the kind of honest service you expect from DA without the dealership stare and silent treatment you get when the dealership gives an outrageous quote for a service. You know that look :)

WOW WOW WOW!!!! What can I say, I am probably like many individuals in this world who unfortunately do not know much about cars at all. I was interested in purchasing a vehicle at a dealership close by. I called and spoke with a gentleman named Larry Joe about a specific vehicle I was interested in purchasing. He literally took the time to speak to me about the vehicle and my concerns. After we spoke for about 13 minutes he told me about a service they offer at a very reasonable price. I dont remember the name of the service I think its called a pre purchase inspection. Either way its a service they offer for individuals like myself where you can take the vehicle to them, they will check it out and let you know their thoughts. He even took the time to pull a Carfax report with the VIN I gave him. I would easily recommend them. If I do purchase the vehicle I will provide another update about the services provided to me.

This shop borders on criminality! The estimate was twice what I got from another shop that replaced the drive belt, upper radiator hose and changed the oil! None of which this shop was going to do. This shop charged $99 for an estimate AND they were very late in calling me with that estimate. The shop that I used had everything complete in 3 hours for half the price! Further, this shop wanted to do everything except what was wrong. Will be sending this to the Governors Office of consumer affairs. I was ripped off by Dealer Service Alternative.

I called Dealer Service Alternative because I had a problem with my Smart Car rear window not locking. I spoke with Larry Joe who had me check the window, lock and unlock it, and apparently it was in the lock position so it wouldn’t latch properly. I did what he said to do and now it works perfectly!! I would definitely recommend Dealer Service Alternative to anyone who has a problem with their Smart Car or other automobiles to check this place out! I will be taking my car there in the future for any problems I have. Mercedes wanted to charge me $600.Thank you so much Larry Joe! This place is fare honest and very informative. They let you know everything abd help you to decide what to do first if there are a lot of things that need to be done. Their prices are much better than the dealer even though no matter what it’s expensive to fix a foreign car some savings are better than none. These guys are awesome! I had an issue with my ac (I drive Audi ) could not figure out what the issue was . We figured I was looking at around 1500 dollars . I was visiting Orlando but I live in St. Petersburg. While there my car started smoking, when I opened the hood there was coolant spraying everywhere. I tried calling multiple places but it being Saturday afternoon, many said to wait until Tuesday. I could not wait because I had to make it home the same night. I called Dealer Service Alternative and Larry told me to take it in and theyll take a look. I got it towed there and within 20 mins they already knew it was two hoses. He quickly got on the phone and fortunately was able to find both hoses. He personally drove to pick them up quickly. I noticed that it had gone passed closing time yet they still stayed to fix my car. Before you knew it they were done and I was out the door. Im extremely grateful with their knowledge for European vehicles, this is my 5th BMW and I know most mechanics dont know how to deal with them or take forever. They were fast yet precise with their work. Volkswagen Jetta had a boost leak from the turbo.Multiple other places told me I had to replace the entire turbo. This shop did a diagnostic and only needed to replace a hose and clamp.Saved me time and money. Thanks I’ll be coming here for all other services.

Well I got my new tires but during installation 2 of my rims got damage they took care of everything imidiatley they are very responsible I give them 5 stars because if there where other place they well put excuses they didnt even think it twice to work on it

So impressed with this business! They were very kind and transparent when walking us through all the maintenance that our vehicle needed. They politely and thoroughly answered any questions my boyfriend had which made us both a lot more comfortable going to a new shop. We had just got a quote at the Mercedes dealership for almost twice the price for less work. They replaced everything we needed as well as did our routine oil change and tire rotation/alignment that we were long over due for. They worked very quickly and were very easy to communicate with during the process. 10/10 would recommend and will be returning when the time comes

I needed to have Service B done on my Mercedes Benz, I initially had an appointment at a local dealership, the recommended service was going to cost over $1000. I found this shop online and I am so happy I did!! I was about to get right in and I waited maybe 2.5 hours and walked away saving myself over $700.00!! I usually go to another mechanic a few miles east on colonial, but theyre usually really busy and this place is closer so I thought Id give it a try. I read good reviews on here and assumed they were legit, so I took my car here for a minor repair, which cost almost $1k after all was said and done. I figured ok maybe it was more expensive than I realized, and I dont want to be cheap about it as long as I get quality work done, they also said I needed to have a few other things done, and this is where it gets sticky, some of the things I needed to have done were things my other mechanic had just done a few months ago, and I mentioned that, to which they replied that maybe things werent leaking and they just had fluids on them but werent actually leaking... which... I mean if youre going to tell me something is leaking and needs to be replaced, shouldnt it actually be leaking and need to be replaced for that to be said? Regardless its been a couple months since then and it turns out it wasnt actually leaking the fluids are fine. I think the scary part is that after I left here a few hours later I get a call from my credit card company concerned about some attempted charges that day, it wasnt the $1k charge from the mechanic, it turns out someone that was in my car that day had taken my old credit card from my center console, and tried to use it to buy things nearby. It didnt go through since it wasnt a valid card anymore, but its still scary. I would like to believe management/owners arent behind it and it was just someone on the staff with sticky fingers that saw an opportunity, but still scary that someone did that. Also if youre wondering if it was like a friend or something, it wasnt. The card was taken between the time I dropped the car off and picked it up. It happened at their facility. Ultimately maybe if the staff were different in a few years I might try it again, but I cant go back to those same people.

I need my daytime running light fixed. DAS Orlando is also dog friendly. There is a cute little dog park about a block or two down the road. We took a nice walk and stayed a few minutes at the dog park. When we came back my car was done. The prices are very fair and the shop is clean. They had all kinds of different makes and models of cars and were fairly busy and still had me out within the hour. Ill definitely be back. Thank you!

I came to this place on a Saturday around 2:00pm. There was only one individual working at the time. That individual was working on a car when he saw me waiting for service at the front desk. He greeted me and informed me that sat are his busiest days. I was hoping to get my AC fixed, but there was a customer in front of me and the garage was full. Even though he was very busy, he came out to my car and took a look at the AC. He gave me some advice and directions on how to solve the problem myself. I follow his instructions and my AC has been running fine ever since! This guy really saved me some money and from exhaustion! Cool guy, very helpful 👍

My experience with Larry and his Team was excellent. I just moved to Orlando 6 month ago and it was the 2nd time i had problems with my car. The first time i brought it to the Volkswagen garage, which was mega expensive, and they recommended repairs that were not necessary.Larry checked my car, called me and made sure i understand whats going on and what is really important to repair and what could wait. The prices for the repairs where absolutely reasonable and they where super fast!!!A few days later i had troubles again (not their fault) and i called them for a quick check. These guys are great! Friendly, knowledgeable, fair, reasonably priced and most importantly, honest. Alex and Larry worked relentlessly to diagnose my Smart cars problem, lay out the possible solutions and fix it. Ultimately a new (used, low mileage) engine was needed. That along with a few other repairs and it now runs better than when purchased with 17k miles. My only complaint is that they are so far from me, 90 miles, but theyre well worth that inconvenience.

What a great experience I had as a skeptical female taking my car in for a repair. The under skirt of my car was dragging the ground and making a horrible loud noise. Just moved to the city of Orlando 10 months ago. I purchase a nice used BMW. I had the vehicle a little over a month and my “Service Light” popped up on the dash. A little over a week I noticed that the light went from yellow to red. Ran my own diagnostics and was not able to pin point the issue. Took the car to DHS, and Larry assist and educating me on what had caused the light to come on. Told what steps to go through to clear the light and when I got home. Not only did I receive excellent service, it was also a much more fair price for the service than the other company quoted me. Since then I have brought my vehicle to them for all of my car needs. They are friendly, professional, fair, and patiently explain whats going on in the car so that I can understand even with limited car knowledge. We have an E, GL, and C class, and we’ve trusted them with our service and repairs since they were still in their old location on Forsyth. While their shop has gotten bigger and better, they’re quality of service and value remains the same.We’re especially grateful that they helped us deal with insurance after a bad jump start from the insurance company. They explained the situation thoroughly to both the insurance adjuster and myself, and provided pictures for the claim. After the initial repair, more damage was found and they once again helped us deal with our insurance company to get coverage for that as well. We’ve got our fingers crossed that we’ve found all the damage, but can rest assured they’ll help with Our claim if not. It was a long and frustrating process, but they were courteous, patient and completed high quality repairs.Look no further for dealership quality service and repairs for a fair price. We’ve lived in Orlando for over 20 years and guarantee there’s no better shop.

I was impressed with Dealer Service Alternative. I needed a pre purchase inspection done on my 2012 Benz S Class and it was a Saturday. No one else could help me out (it was the Saturday before New Years), but with only a few hours heads up, Larry assured me it could be done. The mechanic thoroughly inspected the car, and brought me out into the shop to look underneath the ride and see for myself. First and Foremost, I would like to thank the entire staff at Dealer Service Alternative for the unbelievable job they did on my Mercedes E320.My wife and I attended a concert in Orlando while driving up the event our car check engine lit up indicating to pull over immediately car overheating and stop the car. We where able to have the vehicle towed to the hotel. The next day we began to search for a shop which can become overwhelming and stressful in itself, I searched a lot of mechanic shops in the area reading plenty of reviews finally coming up to DSA I took my risk.Scared and stressed called and was greeted by a very friendly staff name Larry. He was able to accommodate suggested to bring the car in and also offered towing service to their shop. The vehicle managed to turn on so I drove it straight to their facility. Once there was greeted by Carlos we discussed what had occurred the day before, proceeded to fill out basic paperwork he assured us the vehicle would be seen and evaluated by noon which it did as he had told us although there was computer issues would take more time than anticipated he then suggested we may leave it and arrange a rental to have us return home and wave the storage fees. Carlos immediately contacted Enterprise and arranged a rental for us took care of all the hassle and even drove us to the rental place.As promised Carlos kept in contact with the me through out the process and was able fix the computer issue and the price was reasonable.The service, the staff—everything about this experience from when I met you all, was above and beyond what I expected, and I will refer DSA to anyone I know to their shop. A very, very special thank you to the guys You are ABSOLUTELY the best!!!!Definitely an A+++ shop! Carlos made DSA look good, and the work they did was above and way beyond expectations!

A friend had just purchased Mercedes from Mercedes Benz of North Orlando and he and I were discussing the high costs of dealer service and our mutual dissatisfaction with the work when he told me he had been turned on to Dealer Service Alternative. I decided to go check them out and lets just say that Alex and Larry Joe know how to get business. They welcomed me, showed me around and then told me their philosophy on taking care of cars and customers and I was sold. I have had a Service B done there at a ridiculously reasonable price and then they gave me comprehensive list of not only what needed to be repaired but rated the urgency in which these items needed to be taken care of. I will be taking my Benz there for ALL my service needs. Ive been telling everyone with a Benz who will listen about these guys. I wont go anywhere else.

Although the reviews are good please don’t let them fool you they use aftermarket parts Brakepads to cut down cost and they also don’t have the proper machines to actually know what’s wrong with your car. If you have a domestic vehicle this shop is a Dream destination I suppose but to the people with foreign vehicles please just take your car to the Dealership and don’t waste or time or money.

Ive been coming to this shop for more than 2 years now. Its an excellent place for a basic oil change or for any other (unwanted) complicated repair. They are now selling tires (which is what I recently did with them). Their prices in general are pretty competitive and their Customer Service is great.

Awesome, excellent, technically perfect, great communication, completely satisfied. My project included transmission repair, breaks, motor mounts, battery, rear seal and other nagging items that needed attention. Alex and his team not only accomplished everything perfectly, but he was able to work with my after market insurance provider flawlessly and for those items I paid out of pocket was more than fair and generous with his time and attention. Thanks Alex and team. You are my new and only mechanic and I am without a doubt happy to tell everyone who might think the dealer is the only way to go, they are mistaken.

This business is AWESOME! We were visiting Orlando for vacation on spring break and one of the front air struts went out on our Mercedes GL-550. We are from Louisiana and did not know who to call. We prayed and came upon Dealer Service Alternatives website. After pouring over the satisfactory reviews, we called and was greeted with open arms by Larry Joe. Both he and the owner, worked diligently to take care of us quickly and the price was extremely affordable. I would recommend and invite all to patronize this amazing establishment because they were angels sent from God to us! We traveled back to Louisiana (over 700 miles) with confidence in the repairs that were made to our Mercedes. When I purchased my 2016 Mercedes, I was concerned about maintence, and services prices. After looking on line, i found Dealership Alternative. I was hesitant at first to have another mechanic work on my Benz rather then going to the dealership so, I did my research. After finding Dealership Alternative, and meeting with Larry and Alex, I know i made the best decision to have them work on my car. I’m not someone who know’s a lot about the engineering and mechanics of vehicles so my first conversation i had many questions. Larry was patience and addressed all my questions thoroughly in great details. I felt comfortable to then compare prices they quoted me to other shops. I found Dealership Alternative’s prices to be competitive but the attention that Larry gave me, earned my business, my trust and my time to type my first business review on Google.

I dont know where to start! DSL is an amazing team of people that arefocused on honesty, professional service, respect and old fashion customer service skills that the moment you talk to them you feel right at home! My daughter had a problem with her VW Jetta. The radio was the first to just show a blank screen that the battery kept dying and the computer panel was highlighted with all sorts of service messages andwhen she replaced they battery and tried to drive the car it would take the reverse shift. I talked to Larry Joe over the phone and you can tell he was really listening to my concern because he kept asking questions and recommend I bring to the car over so he diagnose and check it its an electrical issue. Larry Joe and the whole staff are very professional first of all they make you feel like your their number one concern!, like youre their family. Larry Joe was able to fix the problem with my daughters car at a reasonable fee. DSL is a group of skilled professional automotive engineers that know what they are doing but most of all they are honest, reasonable and they win you over with their smile and attentive professional customer service skills. I will most definitely come here again going forward with any issues that may occur to my daughters VW Jetta. There are good mechanics and there are good humans, Alex is definitely both of the above. My BMW started to misfire on Friday evening, so I started to call shops first thing on Saturday. 5 shops turned me down, including my previous go to BMW specialist and several BMW dealers. Next on my calling list was dealers service alternative, I explained my situation to Alex and without hesitation, even tho they were booked out, he told me to come by because he doesnt want me to get stranded! This was my first interaction with him and It ment so much to me. He did a great job at a great price. If u live in the UCF/ Waterford lakes / Avalon park area look no further to find your specialist and if u dont live in the area, make the trip anyways its worth it.Thank you again Alex, Ill see you next time.Lisa

Disappointed. This was my second visit. I own two MBenz; a 2002 E-class and 2015 S-class. I have had quite a bit of experience with this brand for nearly two decades. My first visit, I already knew what my 2002 needed. This visit my windshield wiper went out on the same car. I had to pay nearly $100 diagnostic fee after we figured it wasnt the fuse. Whats next? Either the wiring or the motor. Although the motor and labor was more than the dealer would have charged me, it was convenient to leave the car here. No problem. I also needed a fog light-bulb. The bulb was nearly $15 and the labor was nearly $40 to install. I was told the bulb didnt come on; therefore, it needed to be diagnosed at nearly another $100. Is the socket bad or is the wiring gone bad? Decided not to pay for that. Somewhat of an insult. Picked up the car and I guess from checking out the wiper, there was no wiper fluid left in the car. Didnt even top this fluid off. I asked could I be offered a break after learning the cost was more than the dealer. I was given 10% off. I noticed the 10% was off the diagnostic fee. Another insult....after the diagnostic took a matter of minutes. Some parts only warrants limited diagnosis or should I say untimely. Thought I had landed a genuine company for my auto needs. This was my last visit . I felt cheated.

If you own a Mercedes, BMW or any other German car, you need to service it there. Extremely fair pricing and excellent customer service.

I need some work done to my car and find this shop online, so I look at the reviews it had and felt comfortable to take my car. When I walked in and talk to Jason and Alex I felt better they explain to me in detail what was wrong with my car and how fast they could get it done I felt so good about it and they wasnt trying to up sale me or anything like the other shops like to do I will never take my car anywhere else THANK YOU guy for all your help.

Nothing but good, genuine people at DSA. Took my M4 to fields winter park for a noise coming out of my engine. It took a day and a half to diagnose and with little explanation. Fed up with their service I had a friend recommended DSA. Larry joe explained everything that was wrong in detail and was always calling me with updates all within a very reasonable price. Left very satisfied and with peace of mind! I Highly recommend giving them a shot!
