Corey and the team were great! I took my car in to get checked out last week after it temporarily stalled on the side of the road. I purchased a Land Cruiser to do a big overlanding road trip out west and needed quite a bit of work done to ensure reliability. Racked up nearly 6,500 miles (partially running 4x4 trails in Moab at 106 degree temps) on my trip and not a single issue. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service at fair prices.

Wow Im extremely amazed by the service I just received at Orlando Import Auto Specialist. So 3 days before taken a work road trip I received the news that my two front shocks in my truck were leaking. So I immediately searched on Google Maps for a mechanic that can perform the repairs before leaving out of town.I came across Orlando Import Auto Specialists and saw their reviews and made me curious about their services. So I picked up the phone and called them, a nice gentleman by the name of Correy at the front desk welcomed me and provided an immediate quote and their availability.At first he informed me that they were slammed with work and couldnt perform the repairs until the end of next week. So I explained to Correy that I would deeply appreciate if he can find any way to squeeze me in and perform the repairs before my road trip. Without hesitation he looked into his schedule and said that he would try his hardest to make it happen. He recommended for me to drop off the vehicle early the next day so that he can have enough time to fix it in less than 3 days.So the very next morning at 8 a.m. I left my truck and went off to work. Well to my surprise 7 hours later I received a phone call stating that the truck was ready! I was blown away by this call. The fact that they were able to squeeze me in, make the repairs, and have it ready the same day was amazing!Finding a good mechanic is a serious hassle and Im just thankful that Google Maps was able to help me locate a great mechanic shop near my home. They just earned themselves a loyal customer!

I had taken our old girl, our 2005 Lexus RX330 to Lexus of Orlando for an inspection and oil-change. They came back and told us that both front control arms were completely shot and due to fail completely at any moment! Shocks needed replacing, and a list of other minor issues - the cost would be close to $3000! But ... since you expressed interest in trading it in, and your vehicle is only worth approximately $5000 you should just trade it in today and well give you a great deal. Well I immediately took it to Import Auto. They completely inspected the vehicle and told us, (and showed us), that not only were the front end suspension components not an issue, but they were in particularly great shape considering their age. In fact the only thing we did need was a brake job, (Lexus surprisingly hadnt mentioned that, but perhaps they never actually had it on a lift, who knows)? They did the work, and the oil-change that Lexus hadnt gotten to, and all in we walked away for a few hundred. Ive since used them again for a routine oil change and rotation. These gents are honest and decent folks. I HIGHLY recommend them for your vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Ive been going here for the last 10 years. They have worked on my civic, TL and Corolla. They can always identify the problem, and let me know what is really necessary vs what can wait. They never charged me for diagnostics. I moved about 45 minutes away and cant find anyone as good as these guys.

I usually do most repairs on my car on my own but ran into an issue and didnt have time to finish the repair due to having to leave town for work. They were able to replace the water pump in my car and also a couple of seals. They were honest and only did the work I requested. They used the replacement parts I had and even called to clarify the work I wanted done while they were working on it. I appreciate the honesty and the work done on my car. Will use them again should I need work done on any of my cars.

This is the second time that I have brought my vehicle to Orlando Import Auto Specialists. The first time I came in they looked at my car and told me what was needed to make the repairs. They printed out a form with all the parts that were needed on it along with the cost of repair. The prices were fair but the repairs were something that I could do. They did not charge me for giving me this. The second time I had my car towed here after breaking down on the highway. They looked over the car and determined that the repairs or greater than the value of the vehicle. They were so nice that they let me keep the car there for a week and a few days so I can find somebody to sell the car to his junk. All through this process they were very helpful I would recommend this repair shop to everyone. They repair both foreign and domestic vehicles.

Theres plenty of reviews for an actual vehicle repair...but I used them for a (pre-purchase) vehicle inspection. The staff is friendly & personable, the quoted cost was very reasonable and the actual final report was very thorough--complete with a slick phone-sent detail summary.OIAS is hghly recommended for this use as well!

I dropped my car off at Orlando Import Auto Specialists for an AC diagnostic wanting to get a second opinion and quote for some repairs that the dealership had advised. After jumping through several hoops with Honda Corporate I was able to secure half of the required repairs for free and I called back to Orlando Import Specialists to ask for the pricing of the other half of the repairs. Their staff recommended that I just make the repairs at the dealership for warranty purposes as prices were comparable despite the fact that Orlando Import Auto Specialists would subsequently be losing out on a sale. On top of it all they didnt even charge for the diagnostic. Quality display of character by the staff. A special thank you to Corey for the transparency and recommendation. We will definitely be back if we ever run into any problems with our car.

It is a shame that after checking all the reviews and great comments about this place, my wife received such a bad service. Had an appointment and showed on time for the appointment, need a diagnostic check and an oil change, the vehicle was not check for about 3 hrs and then after being check we were informed that it would take another 2 hours to do the oil change. My wife spent over 5 hours and the oil change was not t done. Once she got to pick the vehicle she was treated with disrespect and shown the door for her to take her keys and leave. This is not acceptable if you need to keep the car for an extended period of time even when an appointment is made them tell the customer to start with not just a please have little patience. Was told that the dont take care of this import, but their name is import auto specialists. That is interesting. I interacted with Joe and Cory. Service FAILED, customer service FAILED.I reached out to the shop from overseas and was treated ok but I will not tolerate that anyone mistreats my wife. Will not return, going somewhere else.This place did not meet my expectations.

RESPONSE: Yes, I was at your shop. I called the day before to setup an appointment to get my car looked at for my AC, because I have a very busy schedule. I was told on the phone that I could just come in at 9am and it wouldnt take long to get it checked out. I arrived at 9am sharp and gave my info. Then I was put behind a line of papers of other vehicles getting looked at. Guy at front desk didnt give me a wait time and no idea of how long it would take. When you give a customer your word that it wouldnt take long and that customer arrives to your shop for them to find out you have a much longer wait time than discussed previously, it shows me that this business cant keep their word. Therefore, I gave this shop 1/5 stars because the lack of respect this business has for the customers time and that they are not true to their word. Its a shame because with all the good reviews, I expected more from this place.

I have a 2002 ford F150 and had an engine condition that was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. Living in Leesburg, Joe made arrangements for the truck to be picked up and transported to the shop in Orlando. Once the vehicle arrived at their shop, Joe called me and gave me the news as to what the assessment was and an estimate. At every step of the process of replacing the engine, OIAS was in contact with me. I was told the process would take one week, and the truck was indeed ready in one week. After getting the vehicle, I drove it from from Orlando to leesburg and it ran beautifully!!! I have been driving the truck for years and know what the truck should feel, sound, and perform like, and I was not disappointed in what OIAS had given me back. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with Joe, Corey, and their team!!! Thanks a million guys! I am an out of town driver who was buying a car while in Orlando on vacation. I was very nervous about getting the car inspected by a shop that I had no prior experience with, as we all know how some shops operate. The reviews made me feel a bit better so I brought in our possible used car. They got the car up on the lift almost as soon as I got there, and to a family with lots of fun to have, that means a lot. They completed a very detailed inspection and found some issues with the suspension. They itemized everything and gave me the printout. The quotes were VERY fair for the work and if I had bought it I definitely would have taken it back to them to fix the work, but the dealer was being a goof and would not come down on price to fix the issues or fix them at all.While I was waiting in back room I overheard a guy with a BMW come in and talk about some work. I did not catch everything, but what I did catch was a general price for work that I have had to do on the same type of car. It was VERY VERY competitive. If my mother lived in Orlando, this would be her shop. I would make sure of that. I did not have any work done so I cannot attest to the finished work but according to the reviews they are great and after my experience, I would wager they are. I have family in Orlando and they have been made aware of this place. This place is one of the good ones.

I just want to say that I lived in Orlando for two years and I went to several different mechanics before I came upon them. I always found them to be as helpful as they could be. Their prices were reasonable and they were always willing to go over things with me. I never got the impression that they were trying to pull one over on me to get more money. They actually werent near where I lived but I would go out of my to go to them because I trusted them. If people ask me- and they have- where to go for car repairs in Orlando, I say that these guys are the best Ive found around Orlando.

I just recently moved from South Florida and was very nervous to take my Mercedes to anyone else other than the guy who had been working on my car for the past 50k miles. My B Service was up and they had it done in record time as well as only charged me for the parts that needed replacing. This is who I will bring any of my vehicles moving forward!

So I was at the shop the other day for an oil change, and I mentioned I was going out of town. Dwayne took a few extra minutes and suggested we do a few small things to make the trip that much safer. My hunt for a reliable, honest auto mechanic is over! These guys do excellent work and instead of trying to upsell me, they try to find ways to save me money. They are honest about what needs to be done immediately and what still has a little life left in it. They also fixed my transmission fluid leak for half the price I was quoted by the local chain place. I’m pretty sure I told Cory I loved him over the phone when he gave me the final price!

I was in town temporarily visiting my aunt in Orlando when I noticed my 1991 Toyota Camry V6LE Wagon leaking what looked like coolant fluid. She suggested Orlando Auto Imports for any work as they are the only shop she takes her vehicles to. She said they have always been the cheapest and most honest and professional shop she has found in the Orlando area (described a price difference of $200 compared to an $800 estimate at a different nearby shop for a particular repair she needed in the past one time). They let you know, very honestly, exactly what things they find wrong (and inspected my vehicle completely for free) and they are very thorough. They let you know how urgent each issue is so that you can determine what you should be fixing immediately and what you can hold off on for a later time. And if they are unable to cheaply or quickly fix a certain thing on your vehicle, they will always give helpful suggestions on places where the work could be done cheaper. It turned out that my radiator needed to be replaced, as well as my master cylinder, as I was also leaking brake fluid. They gave me an estimate of $650 total (parts + labor for radiator and master cylinder) which is a very good deal for these two majors issues. Additionally, I called and asked if they could do an oil change while the vehicle was there, which wasnt an issue. When I arrived to pick the vehicle up, they let me know that the vehicle had also been missing a gasket that they replaced for free, and because I paid in cash, ended up giving me close to a $30 discount on the total. I have never experienced a more genuine and professional shop that cares for its customers so thoroughly. I really appreciate this shop and, if I lived in Orlando, would solely go to them for any auto repair needs.

If there were higher marks then excellent to rate this business, then I would. So I have been coming here for years because Joe and Dwayne are nice, honest, courteous, and always looking to save me money on repairs.I brought in my wifes Nissan and instead of just doing the repairs, they advised me to take it to the dealership since the part was still probably under warranty due to a recall. Turns out Nissan would not warranty the part, and wanted to charge me almost $1,000. Orlando Imports did it for around $300.Just today, I brought my Mercedes in expecting about $700 in repairs for steering and front headlight wiring issues. They didnt try to sell me a whole new wiring kit and do a bunch of expensive repairs and did not try to sell me on replacing power steering components. Instead, they did the least expensive and most practical repairs: re-taped the wires I had and just filled up my power steering fluid. When I went to pay they told me Dont worry about it. These guys are the best, I will only bring my car to them. If our politicians were even half as honest and decent as these guys, our countrys problems would already be nearly good as fixed.

To keep it simple, I like this place a lot. Ive visited for several different issues and they are always to the point, honest, and open to discussing options. Im always skeptical and even a bit frightened of mechanics and most other repair shops feel like a rip off to me but I these guys have earned my trust.

I didnt expect them to be able to get to it right away on Tuesday (when they re-opened) due to how busy they were going to be from being closed for the holiday weekend and assuming they had appointments already booked. Not only were they able to resolve the problem, they had everything completed by the end of business Tuesday AND didnt charge me an astronomical amount to fix it! These guys are the only people Ive let touch any of my vehicles for probably the last decade. They are honest, efficient and hard-working and they know what theyre doing! Had these guys give me an oil change about a year ago. (Just now able to write the review) Told them I was driving across the country so also wanted them to make sure it checked out ok and was safe. Shortly after I started my road trip, the day after my oil change, my car started shaking and I had serious engine trouble. Sure enough, they overfilled my oil. I then had to pay almost a thousand dollars to fix this issue and fix my engine.I dont like to write a bad review but when it comes to safety and looking out for others I felt it was important. (and to save you some $$$ :) )

Let me preface my long story by saying I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS.After driving 1100+ miles from IL to Orlando my check engine light came on for my Caravan. Took it to a major chain for diagnosis - the guy there wasnt able to pin point the trouble code but quoted me $500+ to replace my fuel pump and fuel level sensor. I guess they saw GOLDEN TOUCH when I walked in. Needless to say I thought it was a rip and left.Looked up Orlando Import on yelp and saw all the rave reviews. Went there the next morning. Joe was there and let me know he was already booked for the day but took a few minutes out his time to look at my vehicle. Turns out the sensor was just a little rusted and corroded. He cleaned it all up for me and check engine light gone. Took all of 10-15 minutes. He was polite, courteous and honest. I drove back to IL 1100+ miles no problem. My only wish is that they were here in IL instead of FL - they would get all my business. Hard to find fair people anymore - but this place is definitely one of the rare few left.

These guys are the best in town. Recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry and was tired of the dealerships in the area. 3 hours for an oil change at the dealership and $100 later not the best experience, not to mention trying to sell you on stuff you dont need. You wonder why the dealerships are so large. Its your money. :-) Orlando Import Auto Specialists use OEM parts and the proper oil for the car and pricing is great. Service, Support and Great Pricing. Couldnt ask for more.

Amazing service and in regards to price, right on the money. Finally left a car shop without feeling screwed over. Im glad these guys are within walking distance of my place if and when I need work done on my car again.

Took my wifes 10 civic in for an AC check, buzzing noise and brake check. They diagnosed the front right wheel bearing for the buzzing and a total AC system rebuild. Everyone was nice, communicative and took the time to explain the issues and the work they were doing. After I picked up the car the AC didnt work as well as it should, took it back the next week and they replaced a bad relay (which was new) and now my AC would make a polar bear happy, my wife certainly is. Pricing is fair and quality of work unmatched.

Corey and everyone here has always done an amazing job with both our Honda Fit and Acura TSX. Theyre always helpful and willing to explain things, and have even figured out (and fixed!) issues that stumped others. Combine all of this with extremely reasonable pricing, and I would never go anywhere else!

As a fellow shop owner, I really appreciate their expertise here! We had an issue with a new Mercedes electronic parking brake that we couldnt solve and their team was able to figure it out and get it fixed for us quickly! Thanks a lot for your help guys!

The reason why these guys are busy is because they consistently provide excellent service work at fair prices. I have been using Orlando Import Auto Specialists a number of years. I heard all the things you like to hear about mechanics such as fair, honest, good, etc. when I was referred. The fact is I thought I had all that already in another shop. The fact is I didnt. These guys are the real deal.I especially like the fact that they use good parts for your car!

Finding this garage to replace my Acuras steering rack was my good fortune.
