Bad service. Was not greeted for over 10 minutes. I cannot recall the name of the young gentleman that I spoke with, or should I say spoke to me. Listen more than you talk. Could not seem to get a useful answer and seemed to lack a sense of transparency. Im sure others have had a great experience here, however I will be taking by business elsewhere.

Traded our boat in on a jet ski and had a few minor issues in the process. Otherwise, a fast and good experience

My family and I walked into this retailer to purchase a boat. We were not greeted or payed any attention to like the white persons that entered the store. We stayed around for some time assuming they might be busy. When we arrived the salesman walked straight past us and as we left we were again treated as if we were invisible. It is a shame that we even have to experience this type of treatment. I’m not sure if they assumed we couldn’t afford it or if it was that plus us being a black family. Either way we will never purchase from this retailer and will ensure our friends all of races do not as well.

I bought my boat from Marine Max, and my whole experience has been very good. Just today, I picked up my boat after some service work and after I got it back to where I store it, there was a small oil leak. I called Cody and he sent one of the service techs out to where I store the boat the same day to take care of. Great service and I didnt have to tow the boat back to the dealership. Marine Max is the BEST place to purchase a boat! George and his team went above and beyond to help my wife and I purchase our dream boat after a horrible experience with a different boat dealer. As relatively new boat owners, they spent time educating us about boat safety and how to properly maintain and use our boat. They took us to the lake and trained us in real-time. Finally, they gave us all the necessary safety equipment and boat cleaning starter kit to make our experience complete. I purchased a Scarab 195 HO from Marinemax Orlando (2016 model purchased in 2017). Good sales support....good initial service. Today, I took the boat in for its 50 hour service (to honor the 5 year extended Warranty that was given to me as a special offer upon purchase. Upon arrival, most personnel had been changed out.......they performed diagnostics on the boat and there was an error code.....they told me that they no longer were a Scarab dealer and the technician who knew about these sort of things had moved on. 2 hours of driving was a TOTAL waste. I was really disappointed...and have to find another dealer to service the boat. When you buy the boat......you are told about the family or club and the continuous learning process. I have never been so disappointed in my life......that they would not take care of my needs. Beyond the sale, this organization is unstable.....and if my circumstances are any indicator, I would not doubt that these folks will be in business much longer. Employee morale seems extremely low........I like the concept they sell.....too bad it lacks substance.

RIP OFF. SCAMMERS$150 diagnostic charges everywhere. Incompetent mechanics. They charged me well over $10,000 for a 250 hour service. Installed impeller incorrectly charged me for parts they never installed. Took to another boat place and have pictures and prove of there lies. I had to redo all of the work as result of finding out about bad install of impeller on port engine. O by the way I found out about the bad install because I have a blown motor. I am redoing all there work on starboard engine as I have no confidence in there previous work. Anybody have a good lawyer. I am now in this for $26,000.

Just purchased our 3rd boat from MarineMax Orlando. Entire staff has been helpful especially our sales associate Stephanie Ecimovic. She provided complete professionalism from Demonstration to delivery of our Scout 355 lxf, and has continued to be helpful thru the few minor warranty issues we encountered. Wonderful experience.

BIGGEST SCAM ARTISTS EVERI bought my boat from Daytona and had no problems.. 3 years later, Daytona was closed so i thought i can get the same experience in Orlando... Hold onto your wallet. you will never ever come across another bunch of dishonest people that will think nothing of robbing you blind. from the salesperson Scott who held onto my boat without ever attempting to sell it, to the service department that in aggregate charged me over $4000 to clean and service the boat and almost 3 months later when i walked in the dealership, i found the boat only Half WASHED with nothing else done to it. they only performed half of what they were paid for and i was forced to Threaten lawsuit before they agreed to finish their work. i had to take the boat somewhere else if i was to salvage what was left of the boat.to make the matter worse, the salesperson first told me that i can take my boat somewhere else if i didnt like what he was doing. then when i refused to work with him and another salesperson took over, he told me that my boat was not worth it and he could wholesale it only, the price had to be set over $50000 less than the book/ retail value... this was after 8 months of them giving me BS on what they need to do before they can LIST the boat for sale.. they found everything that needed to be done first of course thru their service department....i took the boat to another boat dealership ( in SANFORD ) and they accomplished what Marine Max could not accomplish from November 2017 to august 2018, only in 3 weeks.Thanks to the dealership in Sanford ( Alex is the salesperson i dealt with ), they not only cleaned and serviced the boat, but sold it in 3 weeks. All i have to say is that these people were very professional... exactly opposite of Marine Max staff.I will never set foot in Marine Max Orlando. I hope the rest of the Marine Max dealerships are better. I will also let everyone in my sphere of influence know what i had experienced and will suggest finding an alternative.Save your money and spend wisely... DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY.My opinion... its only based on what i went through, but looking at this page, i think many other people will concur..Good Luck.

We have purchased a few parts from them about a month ago and was told we would be called when the parts arrived, no phone call was received. Then once we called and asked they said we will check and call you back and again no call back.. This continued to happen three or four times. We have even heard that from the manager with again no call back.. They have horrible costumer service. If they say they will call you, they wont..

These guys will charge you $500 for diagnostics and then lose your boat plug. They also will not answer the phone after they lose your boat plug go elsewhere.
