They had some lovely wigs, great quality products. Linda was extremely helpful and she assisted me trying on several and find some flattering styles and colors. The one I like best made me feel 10 years younger.

This place has great wigs, shoes for tall girls, accessories, and a really extensive selection of Ben Nye makeup at great prices. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. I recommend it for any of the above things.

I stopped into Ritzy Rags March 5th and was immediately greeted at the door by Leigh and Linda. I am a cd who is wishing to become more publicly visible and was in search of some comfortable shoes and a wig. Leigh and Linda each waited on me and we decided on a red patent leather 1” block heel by Pleaser and a long loose curl wig, blonde with brown highlights.Two days later I was so anxious to break in my new shoes I ventured out into the public cross dressed. I was on cloud 9 wearing my new red shoes with red stockings, black leggings and med blue angora tneck sweater. My enjoyment brought me back to Ritzy Rags to show Leigh and Linda how pleased I am with my purchase. This is a fantastic shop! Im travelling from out of state and have never been impressed with wig salons. Im growing out my gray hair and wanted a wig to wear until then. It was so great to come into this store yesterday. We had to buy a wig for my wife, a haircut went wrong due to bad stylist. I want to thank the owner for making her feel better, making the whole experience fun and being so knowledgeable! I had a wonderful experience at Ritzy Rags. I am a cancer patient and have lost my hair. Its quite and emotional thing to deal with. I was hesitant to even go wig shopping thinking I could never get something that looked natural. HOWEVER, I ended up getting two wigs and they both look fabulous and really help me feel good about myself. Ive gotten so many compliments on my hair color and styles when wearing them from strangers, so I know they must look real!Leigh and his staff at Ritzy Rags were so very attentive, caring and super helpful! We used photos of my hair before I lost it. And the wigs last so long and when you buy one, every wig after that is heavily discounted. He actually has given me two free ones over time. They genuinely care about you and helping you, honestly starting off as a baby queen would have been a lot harder and a lot more intimidating if I hadn’t gone to them, these heels and shoes are top quality so I stay looking top quality ❤️

Literally watched as the sales person treated one customer like they were amazing and another like they just wanted them to leave. I actually saw him turn and walk away from the customer as they were asking a question. Then, another customer would come in and he suddenly became helpful to the new customer. Very bizarre. The wigs are pricey, but thats honestly the norm. The sales person was giving inaccurate wig information, so do your homework before shopping here. Better yet, just avoid this place. For the price you pay, you should be treated with respect and given accurate information.

I love this store. Parking is average for a shop so close to downtown. I’ve never had a problem getting in, and there’s parking in the back of the parallel parking is full. ON TO THE PARTS I LOVE.I originally went to this store looking for Ben Nye makeup. I wanted to try it because I had heard Disney Princesses wore it and if it stands up to the heat and crazy costumes they were, I’m sold. I went for a Halloween look, and wanted a specific look. I explained this to the lady behind the counter and she knew exactly what I wanted. I also asked if the makeup was good for sensitive skin, I normally wear MAC for this reason. She smiled and said I would most likely like this more than MAC. Well... let me tell you, my makeup was PERFECT all night long. I was dying with the heat but my makeup didn’t budge. I came back for my normal foundation right away. I am converted. I also tried the Krylon Studio Stick and wow! Great coverage! If it’s too heavy for your tastes, drop some facial oil on it and you’ll get a lighter look. I have 5 colors currently and mix and match depending on how much sun my face gets. Hands down the best makeup.Thank you to the staff at Ritzy Rags for helping me accomplish the most perfection look. AND my skin has never been clearer.They also helped me figure out how to put on my lace front wig. I couldn’t for the life of me get it to stay. After they gave me some tips and tricks, I wore a wig to the parks and people thought it was my hair. Amazing. Again, LOVE this store

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I visited it for the first time three -four weeks ago, at its location in the Mills 50 area of downtown, and they have the best customer service ever. I was accompanying my sister, who is a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient, and it was on the list of places to obtain a wig. Wow! Leigh was so kind and helpful to us, allowing us to look around and guiding us in the direction of what my sister would need. It was very evident that he had a lot of experience with helping cancer patients. What started out as something we were dreading (getting a wig due to hair loss from chemo), ended up being a terrific experience, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I would highly recommend a visit to this place for your needs if you are a chemo patient. I love this huge make up and wig store. They have been around for 30 years I heard. I went in for two things. I am in cosplay and got all the Ben Nye Products I need. My Mom went with me. She has a medical condition and her hair is so bad. Leigh The owner was great. He made us feel great and stayed open late for us as we arrived late. My mom feels like a new woman and is dating again. The man on charge was very bossy, snippy and rude. I felt like a little kid in the store. He talked to me very unkindly and has a militant demeanor. I felt like I was a bother just by coming to browse and he was snippy and even told me to be quiet and let him get a word in edgewise I felt insulted by his rough way a out him not comfortable and reminded me of the soup natzi lol no soup for you from Seinfeld. Hes very uptight and rough w manners. Made me feel anxious. And wig selection is very small. I didnt even see a single wig I would have even considered adding to my collection. The long wigs I was interested in was stringy and thin. No wigs except one or two that were Decent in my opinion. Very old styles. Wont suit younger customers.

What a great location and store!

My rating of this store is entirely based on a bad parking structure, incorrect posted hours, and service. I would have liked to have based my rating on product as well, but I was not allowed to look at the products.I have a service dog. Hes clean, hes well-trained, he is trained by a respected organization, and I am a disabled veteran. This is not a bad mannered dog that someone put random internet vest on- hes as legit as it gets. I walked two steps into the shop, intending to quickly find and buy a wig Id already traced to this shop, when the owner stopped me. He said he has cancer patients next door and thus I could not bring my service dog inside. I explained to him that legally he was not allowed to deny me service and started to explain that Dog wasnt a health risk. The clerk was not interested in hearing it. I said (not graciously but these were my words) Thank you for your time, Im leaving.I was with my mom, and this guy suddenly started following us out of the store saying he could bring wigs to me at the back door. I have issues standing for a long period of time sometimes. I didnt want to wait in a hot doorway while this man who had already been so unreasonable brought me one wig at a time, and frankly I dont patronize stores that are not accessible by the disabled. I left.This dog has been in the Intensive Care ward of hospitals with me many times. I know several cancer patients who have reassured me that no one with a compromised immune system was going to be in there while its open to the public, so this guys explanation didnt even make sense. I waited on this review to make sure that that was true.As for mundane issues, the hours on the website were very wrong. They closed three hours earlier than what they had posted. I have updated it in Google, so it should be current as soon as that goes through. I called ahead to let this clerk know I was coming, which is another reason I was so upset at being refused.This shop is difficult to get into. There are a few parking spots in the front with a larger parking area in the rear. If you park in the front, there is no sign on the door telling you to go around to the back. The door is simply locked although there is no obvious display blocking the door.There are other, better costume and wig stores in town. I ended up finding a wig at one of them which was a good price and provided with better service.

I had the best experience buying a wig at Ritzy Rags a few days ago. The service Was great, Lynda Was very nice and helpful since the begining. She Was very professional, and gave advice and in live tutorials about wig maintenence. As a crossdresser I felt confident and Safe in there, i tried Bras and breastforms too ! I totally recomend this place! I travelled a lot to get there and totally worth it!

Losing my hair was devastating. Being 25 and trying to look Not sick was something I strive for. I went to this place with no expectations but what I found was complete and total satisfaction and care. I got a wig that looks just like my real hair (even better actually) and another one that just looked great! I highly recommend this place not only for the quality wigs but the sincerity of the employees. I have never been satisfied with a company enough to leave a review, but these guys are the exception. So never in my life have I bought a wig, but my niece in Colombia really needed one and so I went with my mom. I also never thought I would have such a pleasant experience as I did.
