Overall, pretty pricey! Ammo is expensive and so are guns!I walked in, had $700 in my pocket. I found a 9mm I liked and asked them to work a little bit with me on their prices. Their answer: nothing we can do on new guns. We barely make a profit out of it. Nothing else.Ended up jumping in my car, driving 5 minutes to the Academy on East Colonial and buying the exact same gun for $95 less.

Had a great experience as a first time gun buyer. They’re there to help you with any questions new or experienced. The prices are very competitive so it makes me really appreciate the fact that I know I’m buying a gun for the average price BRAND NEW! Will definitely come back again.

I had been searching for a Mossberg 500 or 590 series shotgun for a few weeks. Called a few shops and communicated with a few private sellers and the items were either ridiculously marked up or the seller was non responsive, rude or unreliable. Came across a 500 at a fair price, reached out to Florida Pawn & Gun late last night and within a couple of hours Mike responded. After reading their feedback I decided to go to the shop first thing in the morning and I struck gold. Not only with finding the weapon I wanted, but found a seller who was great! They even took a trade in from me and everything went as smooth as it could be. I drove over 100 miles and obviously passed many shops, but I was glad I did.Husband and wife team that are very friendly, respectful and very helpful. They have a large selection of new and used items and I HIGHLY recommend them!

Great place to buy a gun! They have a nice selection in here! Ive bought three guns from them and each time Mike and his wife are fantastic with each sale. They always help me with all of my questions. They also have a layaway program if the gun you want is a little too much this month you can spread the payments into next month. Workers do not know much on firearms and could not even tell me anything on the rifle I had. Dont waste time they low ball everything and sell it for like new price. Last year it was managed better and I enjoyed business with them. Now its literally a joke. Godfather is a better Choice. Btw Ive done business here for the last 4 years.

Awesome little family run shop, I had some things to sell from cleaning my house and I went to 3 different pawn shops near my house and ended up doing business here because its more personable and theyre very fair and helpful here. I ended up going back to them the next day with more stuff and spent a good 20+ minutes just standing around bsing with Mike and his wife. Cool people, great service, take your business to them.

They purchased an item from a criminal who had stolen it from my friends garage. When presented with proof of ownership by the police, they (legally) refused to return it until my friend did the necessary court paperwork to formally reclaim it, knowing full well that the $$ cost in doing so was greater than the value of the item stolen, and because my friend is often out of state for school/work and has to do the filings in person, this business has made it virtually impossible for him to reclaim his stolen property that is still in their possession.

The staff here are great people, extremely knowledgeable on firearms. Extremely kind and answered every question we had with detail, provided lots of help. I recommend this place 10/10 !

Went there to look at a shotgun. The guns firing pins wouldn’t always work, and the guns trigger would go off while the gun was safe. I wanted to try and fix it if it was cheap enough.The two guys offer it as a discount for $200, and tell me if I come back after Wednesday that the owner could work with me more on the price. So i come back and explain the problems with the gun to the owner. The owner just stares at me like a deer in the headlights and say no. I can’t sell the gun for that much. Complete waste of time.

First off - no, I dont work there! This really is a great shop run by decent people. Mike dealt w. me openly, honestly and professionally from Day One. His brother helped me on another visit - I had to pawn some items. He gave me a great deal and explained the process. Yes, there are other Pawn Shops - but those are not this one! I think the majority of the angry negative reviews are from people who wanted unrealistic money or were demanding unrealistic selling prices.

Sam was extremely fair and customer service oriented. He gave me a fair selling price for my multi-tool and battery. I highly recommend them and they are open until 8, huge plus!!- Happy Customer.

CAUTION: This pawn shop buys stolen property from criminals.In May 2018 I had a Graco Magnum X7 paint sprayer stolen directly from my garage. The criminal immediately took the paint sprayer to this pawn shop for a quick sale. Most likely because this pawn shop has bought stolen property previously from this criminal and many others. I fortunately still had the original box, receipt and identification number of the paint sprayer which I promptly reported to the police. My ID number was found at this pawn shop within a day or so of me filing the report. The pawn shop refused to return stolen property and asked me to PAY for my stolen paint sprayer. I’m extremely disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this shop due to their immoral practices. You TOO could be buying stolen property.BEWARE: rude employees/owner who shun you for telling the truth.

Ill start by saying, I only write reviews if I find the service to be absolutely excellent. This is a real and honest review done by a customer.. I have been a loyal customer of Florida Gun & Pawn for quite some time and I know first hand that the staff is friendly, professional and forthright. They actually take the time to explain the differences in the firearms among other items to make sure you get the one thats right for you. Some people expect to pay near nothing for certain items or want too much for their used items, it happens with any store. But this store is definitely more than reasonable; At Fl gun & pawn they recommend whats best for you; not simply shoving a more expensive gun down your throat. Ill definitely be going back there!

This place is awful. I caught the owner in a lie and when I asked him he got real mad. Tried selling me a used pistol for over retail price. This place is awful. Everything about it is a rip off from the shady service to the overpriced items. These people buy stuff from crackheads and then sell it for so much more. The positive reviews are all done by the staff. Listen to Corey and dont even bother with this place. The staff will try to squeeze every last penny out of you.

Absolutely, point blank, the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would wish I could give it -1. I would rather deal with the lady at the DMV for 5 hours than deal with Mike one more time. He has absolutely NO product knowledge (definitely dont bring him computers) except for maybe knives and lawn mowers... and his wife knows even less. They gave me an offer and when asked, simply, how he came to the number he told me it was because I am a kid. I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. There are so many other pawn shops in the Central Florida area, there is absolutely no reason why you should do business at this establishment, it is a complete joke.
