We’ve had great service from Maximum over the last 7 years but today’s annual preventive maintenance was outstanding! Robert Ezzai was our technician who impressed me with his meticulous work. He was very thorough…and even advised it was time to replace the 3 year old thermostat batteries among other recommendations. He is a valuable asset for Maximum. I hope you consider promoting him to a management position in order to utilize his talented skills. He would be an excellent service and training manager.

My husband and I called this company because when we bought our house, a little more than two years ago, their number was left in our cabinet if we had a problem with our air conditioning. Well our air conditioning stopped working. I called them on March 3, 2020, spoke to a man named Richard. He told us that they couldn’t get out to service us till the next day, March 4, 2020 . That he had a window between 12-4 that we would get service. By 3 the next day we haven’t heard anything. In the mean time a church member told us to call a specialist from our church. So we cancelled the appointment We had with Maximum. But while I was talking to Richard, he told us that we only had a 2 year warranty on our air conditioner and he said it was no longer covered under the warranty. He said, that they purchased one year and that the company we bought our house from (LGI) bought the other year. The Specialist that came from our church within an hour of us calling them told us that we had between a 5 to 10 year warranty on our air conditioner. So Maximum lied to us. Why? We don’t know. But they lied! That says a lot to us about their integrity!! Watch out if you call this company. Have all your facts!!! All air conditioners have more than a two year warranty. We were told we would have to pay 85.00 just for them coming out plus parts and labor. He was on speaker phone so my husband heard everything he said.
Brand new home ac installed in 2017 had 5 yearsWarranty on system. Blower fan stopped working after 3 years . I called Maximum and they said that it was covered yet after installing a replacement blower they charged me $460.00 ..labor cost they say. simply outrageous for spending less than an hour . The air handler was in the laundry room not in a hot attic. In this time of COVID when most of us are not working, they chose to gouge me. Please beware of this inconsiderate behavior.I wouldn’t use this company again.08/11/2020
I had a new unit put in my house. The two service men Andy and Michael were both very polite and professional. They explained the functions of my Honeywell thermostat. It was a pleasure having them replace my unit.
Needed a part replaced on my inside unit. Was told the part hasnt come in. 3 weeks I waited, no phone call. I called them and left 3 different messages. I finally was able to contact someone on the 4th try and he had the balls to raise his voice at me on the phone asking do you know how busy we are right now!Now you have one less customer plus everyone I can tell on social media about your abysmal customer service. Perhaps that will free up some of your time.
I called this company last night as my Ac unit was not working . They took my information and was told a technician was going to call me right back. I didn’t hear from anyone and I called again right before 8am and was told again the technician would call me back. I called for a third time and was told they aren’t taking new customers right now and would need to speak with John and call me back. I’ve never heard back.I called another company who has already come out And fixed the problem. Very poor customer service
They make up stuff and charge. Every time they come in 600+ bucksAnd find more faults to fixAs well get a new AC likely be better option. Not recommended for sure!
My home is 3 years old we had MAXIM air (the original installer) of our comfort system arrive to trouble shoot 3times due to an imbalance in the air system it simply was not cooling. When we had them out the 3 rd time it was found that the coil had been leaking and our cost was $480.00. It seems we were 60 days out of warranty and the coil had failed. When the technician, who found the problem gave me the report he said a new coil would be necessary it would be put on order and we would be notified. After 3 weeks no calls from MAXIM air..... I contacted Maxim and was told the service mgr.was not available but he would contact me. One week later I called and spoke with the service manager who told me he would order the new coil and it would take a couple of weeks to receive. In the conversation he mentioned the part was defective and would be ‘Upgraded’ all at no charge to me....Oh except for labor charge of $750.00 plus any leaked Freon !! I asked about the new unit going bad in such a short time and he told me that we live in a disposable society and that is how things are these days! Even though they came many times in the past the problem was never diagnosed or even checked! No consideration for the failed attempts to fix the problem of the unit not cooling he spoke as if he could care less and it is what it is. No negotiation on the $750. Charge for an estimated 3 hour job or any consideration for the situation he spoke for the company and for the manufacturer. He also blamed the quality on the government regulation on Freon and cooling fluids and there was nothing he could, or would do about it....I contacted another company as referred by my neighbors who had poor experiences with MAXIM air. The estimate from them (an authorized dealer) was $350.00 and no charges for Freon because it is a standard procedure for replacing a coil...I would warn anyone who is considering using MAXIM air not to.
One the best technicians I have ever encountered is Matthew ezzai. He knows what he is is doing and talking about. He explains everything to you in a way you can understand it. He is a smart young man with a bright future ahead of him.
We bought a house 2 months ago and just upgraded the thermostat and had some intermittent issues with it so called around and was shocked at prices. On a whim I went out to the unit to see if the installer had placed a sticker and they had - so called Maximum. The prices were so much more reasonable and they came out for a full annual inspection as well! Robert is the one they sent out - very nice and knowledgeable.
Great service. Another company came out and had no clue about what was wrong with my A/C unit. Maximum came out and spent more time and got it working. They gave me some options and some quick fixes that I could do myself. Eventually I decided that Im updating my unit and they have my business from here on in. I highly recommend these guys.
Excellent to mention is Mrs. Margo the ultimate best & Grest loyal staff Mr. Richard
AC stopped working last Wed, went through home warranty company who sent out a contractor who diagnosed a coil leak. Was told, they will submit diagnose to warranty company and go from there. As EOD Monday, warranty claimed they havent received diagnose from contractor however contractor stated they submitted it after they came out Thursday. Frustrated from the back & forth and seemingly not getting any where nor any feedback to set expectation on when my AC would get repaired I called Maximum Air. Spoke with John he provided straight forward information as well as realistic expectation of repair with options.Tuesday, morning Maximum came out checked my AC system. Turns out it wasnt a leak in the coil that contractor claimed that needed to be replaced but a leak in copper tube. Leo the technician fixed the leak, filled the coolant and my AC is up and running same day. I dont ever write reviews however based on this specific experience I dont not have anything but high praises for Maximum Air conditioning Services Inc and their staff. Thank you!
Weve been without AC for 12 days. Just had my evaporation coil replaced under warranty by Matt. From the moment they were notified, the part was ordered and was installed in a matter of days. Any questions I had about the install were answered, and I wasnt made to feel stupid for asking them. Matt gets ********** (10 stars) for working through this heat!!Really appreciate it Matt.
Robert came out when a tenants AC and thermostat werent working. He found something was causing a short to disable the thermostat. He checked all the connections, inside and out, to be sure everything worked. He was very thorough and polite. Thank you!
Great a/c company
This company installed all of the air conditioning in our neighborhood. The majority of houses has had issues and many just use a new company. They also did a warranty repair on my downstairs air conditioner and while they were here I had them check upstairs since it was still under warranty. Buy the time time they reported it my warranty was up and they refused to fix it. This company hires young adults that do poor work and they don’t back up their work.
Our air conditioner was not working on Sunday (6/11) and I called for a service. The technician (named Andy) came in the afternoon and he checked the outside part and said the condenser fan motor was not working. He said the motor needs to be replaced and he tried to do that but he failed to get the fan blade off. So he said both the motor and fan blades would need to be replaced. Then rain moved in and he stopped working and said he would check the price and availability of the fan blades and give me a call on Monday. He charged me a service fee of $99.However, after Andy left, I called some other repair service company and another technician came in and figured that it was just a broken wire that caused the issue. That technician reconnected that broken wire and then the a/c was working.Contacted with the business owner and got a refund of the service fee.
Our A/C was installed by Maximum Air in a brand new home. In a little more than one year the coil had to be replaced and now the A/C has stopped working completely. The A/C is still less than two years old. When they came to fix the ducts that were not done properly either, the technician FORGOT to cover the clothes in our closet rendering them unwearable because of all of the insulation he dumped all over them and the new carpeting. It is still under warranty and they will not come out tonight after making us wait for hours. I would not recommend this company to anyone that wants good service. When our warranty runs out we will be calling No Sweat of Orlando. They have always treated us right and they install quality products at fair prices.
I had Maximum AC service come to my house after another AC repair company diagnosed a non working AC as needing a new compressor for $1,700. I called Maximum and technician Andy came out and discovered that the problem was just a stuck compressor not a bad compressor and saved me over $1,600. This sort of honesty and integrity is exactly what you should look for in a AC service company. I will never call anyone but Maximum again.
THESE GUYS ARE GR8! ALWAYS RESPONSIVE, AND THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF. WE ORIGINALLY HAD THEM OUT TO FIX A JOB ANOTHER AC COMPANY HAD BOTCHED, THEY FIXED IT. NOW WHEN I WANTED TO REPLACE OUR THERMOSTAT I WAS ABOUT TO CALL AND MY AIR WENT OUT! WOULDNT YOU KNOW IT THEY SENT THE SAME TECH, ANDY THAT WORKED ON IT BEFORE. HELPFUL, DIAGNOSED AND FIXED THE CURRENT PROBLEM AND I HAD HIM PUT IN A NEW THERMOSTAT. ALL FOR ALOT LESS BESCAUSE ANDY WAS HONEST AND STRAIGHTFORWARD,SHOWED ME THE PROBLEM AND FIXED...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I purchased a brand-new townhome little less than a year ago. I came home last night to see that there was a huge puddle accumulating under the unit that has now seeped into the floors through the neighboring area. This is obviously not a good thing! I called the emergency line the builders provided and received a call from this company that they could not help me last night and would call this morning.Fast forward to today. I received a phone call from John (Service Manager) explaining to me that I needed to go buy a dry vac and perform all of these different tasks within the home and outside to drain lines. He flat out refused to come even assess the situation and firmly said you are out of warranty. Ok, fine. We are a little past warranty. I am not trying to bend the rules here, but I still need the issue resolved. They refused to come out regardless of it being at my expenses. It was just poor customer service all around. One of the reasons one purchases a new home is to avoid some of the pitfalls that existing home may harbor. While I know eventually these things will happen and one will have out of pocket costs, I would have expected a slightly more customer friendly approach to the issue. I waited overnight for no reason. Now reading some of the other reviews on this site, I know question the quality of the work initially performed when they installed the unit. the quickness to dismiss my legitimate issue with not so much as an offer to come out at my own expense really has me speculating.Nonetheless, this company lost on my repair business, which I was willing to pay. Secondly, I will NOT even consider them in the future for any repairs. Third, I will not recommend them to a sole. If anything, I will be providing a cautionary tale as I am today. To: John - It really was not about the validity of my warranty. It was truly around a customer having an issue, and a company having some integrity to assist said customer. You offered zero options of coming out to assess the issue - even if I were to pay for your services. Then you turned it around on me to say that I didnt perform the proper maintenance on my unit. My home is 1 year old! Plus, you dont have a clue what type of maintenance I performed. You were reaching on your assumptions. Maybe I have some lessons learned about draining a condensation line on a regular basis, but you have some lessons learned on providing quality customer service.
Your vehicle was speeding going in and out of lanes and almost hitting my car and other cars in the process. I would never use your company if your drivers are like that.
Profesional and personal service!
