Labor Day morning in Oxnard, it was packed. I waited to be helped and after about 10 minutes Xavier came over from The Geek Squad side of the building. I told him what I wanted I wanted to replace my laptop that was 5 years old. He started me off with the open boxes. Which surprised me because most salesman want you to spend the most money. But Xavier took interest in what I was trying to do and guided me through the process even letting me come in with my laptop that I brought with me to surf and buy the item online. Ive never do these surveys, I think theyre a waste of time however Xavier went above and beyond and helping me. Ive had my Best Buy card for over six years now and Im so thankful that I have it and used it today. I believe in loyalty and I dont buy my electronics anywhere else but Best Buy... Xavier is one of the reasons, and your pricing of course. Thank you very much and have a great rest of your week.
Purchased digital product online. They said they would email it to me. They never emailed it to me. I spent an hour on hold to get transferred to someone who barely speaks english and had a horrible time communicating that I just needed you to send me the digital product I purchased. Geek squad hung up on me after transferring me to the computer service department. Never got the $100 windows 10 pro I purchased. Shame on you! I’m shocked you have people who can’t speak English answering the phone for technical support!!!!!
Not so good this time. I found the display model of what I wanted, reasonable price.. could not get assistance to find the units actually for sale, nobody around. Came home, went to Amazon, got a slightly better deal.
I have bought items at best buy, I do not like returning things even if they dont last long, cause by then you want another or the new version. I also love their service. Every time I been there they are very helpful and employees go out of their way to give you the right advice. To the sales people on the appliance department stop selling Lg refrigeratorsI have been concern how best buy ignores people when they buy home appliances and break in less than a year... specially the Lg RefrigeratorPeople are getting ignored and accused of having roaches by technicians and that apparently is the reason for refrigerators to be failing... Never heard that one before.... over 2000 thousand dollar fridge lasting only 6 months... Come on BEST BUY Its not worth it. If its a bad product as all know, just stop selling it and make it right to those faithful Customers. Some of them are friends of mine.

Not a good experience. They close at 8:00. I arrived at 7:36 and nobody wanted to help me, I asked for help and they were mean, they just said were closing in 20 minutes... They never send anyone to help me. BAD STORE! NECER GOING BACK TO BEST BUY AT LEAST THE OXNARD STORE.

Employees dont really want to help you at this location. When we had a question about a product and what it was supposed to do, they told us to just return it. Then when we needed carry out help the employees disappeared.

I ordered online for curbside pickup. After easy ordering online, I got notifications when my order would be ready. It was ready within 10 minutes. I drove to Best Buy and pulled into a curbside pickup spot. I left 5 minutes later. Quick and easy!
Very good experience at this location. Customer service went out of their way to ask if I needed help which rarely seems to happen at other locations. Generally well stocked and prices are comparable with online competitors.
Wow they are still not taking calls since COVID for 2-years and this is why I lost out on my parents because no one pucks up and the place the call gets routed too does not help. Best Buy in Oxnard has gone down hill so fast. Kinda sad that they can not pick up a phone

90 % happy. You can get some employees super professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The place is severely under stocked. Junior in cell phones is awesome. He spent nearly one hour trying to get my problem solved. Super patient and easy going. The best.
Horrible customer service; nobody acknowledges you. When you ask for help no one shows up. They just stand around chatting and having a good time but no customer service.
Have only the basic necessities... better to order online then go pick it up.

The usual Best Buy experience. Lots of missing items on the shelves, generally dirty. The employees to be found are at the service desk working on complaining customers or at the front door looking for peoples stealing stuff. Of course they didnt have what looking for so I went home and bought online elsewhere.
Needed HDMI cables, I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. The greeter gabe me what I needed with additional options and I went straight to check out. Fastest Best Buy visit of mt life.

Visited on Sunday and had a hard time finding staff for questions and help with getting a TV. At other times, Ive had good experiences.
This is our option for electronics and such now that Fry’s has abandoned its operations. Best Buy isn’t best for the consumer and this store really speaks volumes about the area- everything is locked up and closely guarded by staff due to a never ending supply of thieves in the region. The stock is limited, the staff knows very little about their inventory unless it’s mobile device related. And don’t stand in one spot or look at any one item too long or you will see the entire staff ready to be the day’s hero when they catch a- oh never mind, it’s just a legit customer, in which case, good luck getting any help.... this is a store that I only go into as a last resort when I can’t wait for Amazon.
They were to busy moving stock around to help me get the item I needed. I was going to purchase a few other items to support my local in person store but after the lack of customer service today, I put my items back and left. I will be purchasingy items on Amazon instead. Cheaper prices and a better customer service experience.
Was quickly in and out and found what we needed.
Wanted to buy a camera...looked at them & had questions. 4 people standing around on cell phones; started to walk over & they all scattered in different directions. Looked around some more, a lady made eye contact, looked away, leaned over the counter& pushed a button on the register & then pulled out her cell phone. After 30 minutes I walked out. Talked to a VERY nice person manning the security cameras & found out this is common but the manager is working on improving customer service. Since there is NO customer service to be found, the manager should just start all over with new employees. Disgraceful....
Always have what your looking for just feel the prices can be a little better but i dont mind paying a premium to get what i want now

The employees were very helpful. The store was a little empty based on covid-19. And I think that all the stores around here are pretty empty. We found a good deal on a television because ours had just broken. They were helpful in finding a special any boxed previously opened television which gave us a very good discount. And that was really nice. I would like to make only one complaint which doesnt affect their rating at all they do not have an electric scooter but only a hand pushed wheelchair. And Casey has multiple sclerosis and its very difficult for Casey to navigate and be independent in that store. and that is something that is very frustrating for Casey and a think that if they would be interested in possibly getting a motorized scooter for larger people. Or for people who are not just tiny, it would make a huge difference for those people and it would make them be more interested in coming to the store. Or at least making purchases from the store when they are there instead of them getting worn out and not having enough time to shop. Because people who have diseases like that or issues like that get worn out very easily and you want them to stay there as long as possible so that they will shop. Just a suggestion. other than that the store had a good selection of items unlike other stores we had visited previously this day and we found the best item there so I would suggest people going to Best buy. Prices are a little higher here but then again the quality is a little higher too.
Best place ever.bouht a accessory for my GoPro and the box was empty. In five minutes the manager solved my problem and replace my product.
I went here to pick up some components for a casual client (lady from my church): a new SSD and RAM.Really the only reason I bothered coming here was because it would be immediate (as opposed to one whole day for Amazin Prime shipping) and this lady had a bit of beef with Amazon (frankly, understandable).However, this is where I found that their price-matching is very conditional and practically useless. I found a Samsung EVO 500GB SSD for around $77 on Amazon, and it was about $95 here. I printed out the page and everything to show them, but they came back with a technicality: anything listed as being sold by Amazon Warehouse wouldnt count for price-matching.Mind you, this doesnt mean it was used or sold by some Joe Shmoe off the street through Amazon, just that it was a third-party retailer.I think that price matching should apply to ANY other official retailer, or be advertised making these stipulations very clear: they will NOT price match to anyone except under certain conditions (making it practically useless, since youll always find a better price *somewhere*).We did buy the drive, because it was this ladys money and she preferred the convenience. However, I would almost always choose an online retailer for myself.I still gave 3 stars because the staff here were kind and friendly, and I understand that this policy was above their level.

Where do I begin? This store lacks a lot in customer service and not only that but processing orders. I have had multiple issues I think it mainly has came from the workers they choose to hire and the practices they teach. For example Geek squad should never be called for any computer problems because theyll charge you 60 dollars just to reboot your system and this comes taking advantage of people that do not understand technology. But I had an order that I came to pick up because I called and I was told yeah your order is waiting for customer pick up. So I arrive and ask this lady that had been talking for easily 5 minutes with another associate about her car before asking can I help you. That already showed me her mind was somewhere else. I tell Im here to pick up my order not attitude, not even mad about being ignored just normal and after looking up my order says with attitude not ready comeback tomorrow and was going to just walk away and I say I called and was told it was ready. She walks back and says no its not I dont know who told you that, but you would have to come back tomorrow. Then the manager passes by and says hey can you tell this customer he has to pick up this order tomorrow with attitude, so then I tell her its fine Im just going to cancel my order and go somewhere else and then she says again rudely like she has lost patience no... I cannot cancel your order because it wont let me. She didnt even try or anything and in front of the manager I said well isnt this just good customer service. The manager gave her a look like really you honestly being rude and had to step in and was able to cancel it no problem, this just showed she just didnt want to do her job and wanted to leave already like understand, but if you just helped I wouldnt have had to spend an extra 15 minutes trying to solve a simple issue. Management should look into retaining their employees and showing them better customer service because it felt like I was at the DMV and the worst part of it is this is not the first issue I have had here.

Be warned they have a 15 day return policy and close by 6 pm on the week days. With that said I had purchased a pair of jabra headphones... the elite 65. I found them uncomfortable to wear with marginal sound quality and according to people i called while wearing them, a random shriek during calls. So i went to best buy to return them. The guy at the returns counter said that wouldnt be possible as i was on day 20 of the 15 day return policy. Which sucked cause i didnt like the earphones and had been by a week earlier only to discover the place is a ghost town at 6:20 pm. A manager was called and she gave me an in store credit. Whew...I used that credit to move myself into the future of hi-fi wi-fi, i purchased the Sony WH-10000XM4... HOLY COW these headphones are magnificent! Thank you Best Buy! I will write a review about the headphones elsewhere. Thanks for reading!
During early months of pandemic we had to wait outside in the beating sun just to not let you in the store to shop. Had to have the employees look up what you are trying to look for and can only sell you what comes up on their personal phone and not what was on the shelf. Now, employees will look the other way when you are trying to get help on a product. They will try their best to make you invisible to their eye.

I come to Best Buy as they have the ability to transfer all the data from one phone to another Verizon and ATT dont or wont.This time Justin and Yami helped us transfer our cell, they also put on the screen cover for us and got all the info transferred to the new phone even the text messages.They have great team work, enthusiasm and customer service.I have come in just to get them to switch out the broken Zagg glass cover and they did it for a minimal charge and dont give you any grief for not buying the phone from them.All the stuff with new fluff.The prices here are competitive with the other big box stores and they have some cool stoves and kitchen stuff we saw while walking around waiting for the phone to transfer.

I would like to say that it was fantastic. Everyone was so nice. The people at check in were so helpful. When I was getting help with my computer the guy said I had everything I needed for it. I wasnt sure I did. It was very easy. The woman at check out was so kind to me. It was great. I am also glad you allow the DARE people to be in the parking lot. It keeps people aware and children funded. Especially because kids right now are being bullied via social media. And your company deals with computer. Kids turn to drugs when they have problems slot of times. So its cool how I see that happening.
Typical large chain store which offers a large assortment of consumer electric/electronic household and technology items. Although recently during the pandemic, their customer service associates are not as knowledgeable or as many as I have been accustomed to at their stores
Best buys always chill. Pretty straight forward they always got what you need and if they dont, they could always order it. Of course theres always those little workers that think they work for Nasa but best buy as a host is the place to go to
Called to make appointment with geek squad, that only took 1 1/2 hours geek squad contracts some company with 2 stars to work for them they never showed up for my appointment today, never called to say not going to make it or nothing, I have been on phone with geek squad for last hour and the told me oh we are sorry but we scheduled you a new appointment for Wednesday, I said oh no nobody will be home that day I need to talk to a supervisor, she and forged me that she is working from home and she hast to email her supervisor and don’t know when the supervisor will get back to her so I told her to take my information down and expect a phone call back from her supervisor I called the Oxnard store to speak to somebody because I want the number of the main headquarters and they said it will be a 10 minute wait I wait for 10 minutes whether it what happens I get disconnected I will never ever
So, I once worked for best buy and the standards of customer service were extremely high, it seems that times have changed. Asking questions to their staff was like pulling teeth. I went to purchase some beat headphones and decided to make my electronics purchase at target instead. Wow! Sad day .
Was helped instantly once I had a question about anything in store.There are a lot of damaged boxes with the gear inside still in perfect condition so if you want a discount its the place.

I went to Frys first, and my experience at Best Buy was hands down all around better. Employees who apparently just started on the floor from working the warehouse were able to locate the exact item I wanted, and it was half the price of the same item at Frys, where I couldnt find a single employee to ask a question to the whole time I was there, none at the front, not while walking all the way to the back corner, none while looking around for 10-15 minutes, and none walking all the way back out! At Best Buy the guy at the front directed me to the right section, and it took about 20 seconds to find someone to ask questions to! And they price match of course!
