My dryer stopped spinning on the weekend but still had power. I checked with my local appliance parts dealer who is very knowledgeable. She suggested that I contact JCE Appliance Repair to have Osvaldo Diagnose the issue. I made contact with Osvaldo who was able to come out the following day. There was a $50 service charge to come out and diagnose, which I felt was reasonable. I was not home when he arrived but my wife was. Once the machine was apart, he told me that the belt needed to be adjusted. I was confused because there is a tensioner and the belt doesnt get adjusted. He then said the belt slipped off of the motor. He then told me it would be $70 additional dollars to put the belt back onto the pulley. I told him I would do it myself and asked that they leave the dryer disassembled, which he would not do. I told him I would be there in 10 minutes so he could show me the problem. Within the 10 minutes, he put the machine back together so I would be unable to simply place the belt on the pulley. He was argumentative and tried to explain that hes never been asked to show someone what the problem is. When I explained I believed that the belt only has to be placed back on the pulley, I was told that just because I knew how to fix it, other customers dont. I felt that they were attempting to over charge my wife and when they realized that I understood what the problem was and how simple it was to fix (no new parts, no further testing or disassembly, simply placing the belt onto a tensioned pulley) and they would not be getting anymore business, they did their best to try to make it more difficult for me to repair myself. I felt it was not the right or decent thing to do and I would be embarrassed to run a business that way. I would not recommend JCE, they will take advantage of you if they can!

Took some days to get some parts for our washer but it was fixed well once they were in. Technician was knowledgeable, respectful and kept us posted.

Very reliable. Called them because my washer was not draining. They were there the next day, very affordable. I would definitely recommend them. They got my washer working that day.
