Kind and courteous staff. I liked the personal family atmosphere.

These guys do a great job on tires, brakes, electrical, any part that bolts onto the motor, etc. Would recommend them on anything except major engine repair. I have a truck that the engine continues misfiring. After being told by them it was spark plugs, didnt fix the problem. Then ignition coils, didnt fix the problem. Then a timing chain, didnt fix the problem. So Im about $3,000 into repairs into a truck that still wont run over 30 mph. Love this little shop but gotta be honest.

5 months ago they had replaced my catalytic converter. Check engine light came on and diagnostic showed to be the catalytic converter again. The dealership sent the car back to them for it to be fixed. I picked my car up everything appeared to be fine until I drove it for approximately 30 miles only for my check engine light to comes back on. You can not tell me that they replaced my catalytic converter and done a tune up, the services that I paid for. I will update after the shop opens because Im hear waiting.

I only trust West Oak Auto with my major repairs. Its been that way for 7 years and I see no point in changing it now! They are always honest and upfront. Its never once been a gimmick to try and get more money out of me. They let me know up front what I need and dont need.

Took my car in to have brakes and rotors swapped and when I got the car back I drove for about 2 miles and it started making this terrible grinding and squeaking noise…. So I took it back and they said they test drove it several times and that it was fine and it was not. So they took it all apart and looked again and still said nothing was wrong and they couldn’t hear the terrible noise it was making so I decided to take it to another shop (J and R muffler) and within 10 minutes they found the problem which was when they (west oak autos) did the brakes they apparently put in a different size bolt into the caliper and it was causing the brake to be locked up which wore my new brake pads down to almost nothing in a few hours… well j and r muffler fixed it and they didn’t charge me anything for it

Are dependable and they always work with me and they tell me the truth about things theyre always willing to help and they have great customer service great communication

Not impressed. Tell you an appointment time and then dont start on the vehicle for 3-4 hours. And the lady Nicole at the front counter is not fully upfront about information nor does she answer questions directly. Unfortunately that is who the car dealerships does there business with.

This place is AMAZING. My wife was recently passing through this area and had her low tire pressure light come on. West Oak was the closest around and they were super friendly to her, checked her tire and confirmed nothing was wrong (apparently the TPMS is a little buggy in these cars). They didnt charge her a dime. I highly recommend them.

West Oak Auto takes true quality care of there customers, it’s been a while back but the owner set for an hour with my spouse finding the right quality speed rated tires for our Camaro! When we picked it up they had it hand washed!!!! I recommend them to anybody, for your Auto Needs!Thanks Guy and Kelly

I had to get a brand new radiator. They ordered the part that day and had it put in the next morning. I had my car back before work that night good as new! I was very pleased with the way I was treated and how fast they got it done. Ill be returning if need be for sure. I would recommend checking them out.

Rating 4.8. Expeditious, Friendly, Professional in taking care of replacing 4 tires. Price was comparable to area retailers but West Oak a better location to get tires rotated as needed.

Love these guys. Great service, great price. They didnt hassle me about bringing the part and fluids like most tend to. They had me in and out in reasonable time and didnt try to force me to leave my car and come back, again like others tried. Also, they told me other things that would be needed in the near future without trying to talk me into getting it done right now. Not only will I bring my vehicles back, I will reccomend them to anyone. By the way, everyone I encountered were nice, friendly and courteous!

My trunk was jammed and I called to see if someone could help. The lady was very nice & said shed be able to have someone look at it if I came by. True to her word, I showed and Vernon greeted me at my car & fixed the issue within a minute. Smiling & friendly. What a life savor!

I called several shops around town to get an estimate on brake pads. Ford wanted 150+ Ricks Auto wanted 135, and this place only wanted 85! Not to mention I didnt even have to drop my car off over night! They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I got new brake pads and front rotors and an inspection for only 190! That is a great deal and I waited in the shop for only an hour and a half. This place sales tires, oil changes, and many automotive repair services! This place is the best in town and maybe in the the east Texas area!

We took our car here for a head gasket repair, and just over a year later the head gasket was broken again. Staff claimed they could do nothing about it.The owner told me they would get back to me. After calling back multiple times I never heard from them. I took my vehicle to multiple mechanics, and all of them said it was a workmanship issue. One even said that if the head gasket was not shaved properly, then it would run for 20,000 to 30,000 miles before breaking. Our car ran for 22,000 between head gasket busts. They charged us nearly $2,000 for a repair that wasnt done correctly, and refused to fix workmanship error. Our family will not take any of our vehicles to them for service.

I give these guys a 4star because I dont believe in five. there is always room to improve but I cant see where. Thanks for the help and the friendly service..

On a roadtrip yesterday my radiator cracked just a few miles south of Palestine and the engine started overheating. The tow truck driver recommended West Oak because they were close. The shop got me in as soon as we pulled up, found the crack in the radiator and showed it to me within a few minutes, had a new one delivered by AutoZone, and had everything out and back in within a couple of hours of me getting there. Cost of the parts and labor was more than fair, and they didnt charge extra for the emergency service. Everyone was super friendly and helpful the entire time I was there; even gave me their wifi info so I could get some work done while I waited. Could not be more happy with the experience.
