No one calls back.no one showed up when they did call back to book an appt.no one responded to a text asking if they were going to rebook.finally the owner went out to see the minor issue.never called back after he left.never responded to two text messages.so very strange.No a good business move when the HOA makes lists of people to recommend and to service existing systems. Someone in business who makes a great effort and then gets a review with the HOA office can end up with tens of thousands of dollars in business. But for some reason these folks do not get that. Everyone understands that parts and supplies are extremely difficult to come by. Just state it. Place a back order and give the customer some level of confidence that you are still on the case. Not a big deal. But failing to respond or to provide any help or feedback is very bad business.

Excellent service and installation of an awning for our 1937 Casita. The classic spear awning added architectural interest and color to the front of the house and provided much needed shade from the direct desert sun. We experienced good communication with the office during the process.

My experience with Above All Awnings is a 10 Star if it were possible. Extremely efficient personnel, Jim & Kent couldnt be more knowledgeable & went out of their way to design awnings to fit our style of home......outstanding work ethic, finished product is lovely and the price is right !!! We live on a beautiful golf course & people always ask where we purchased our awnings. Because of how happy we are, were presently purchasing additional awnings. I reached out to Above All Awnings due to the fact that I am a General Contractor who specializes in building custom homes and I like to have custom work and details on my projects. It takes extra effort to make the little details work and the Above All Awning staff made it happen from the first time I met with salesman Kent all the way to the installation team lead by foreman Nate. We have had great experiences with above all awnings. They were prompt and professional on installation. A year later we needed an adjustment and they came right out. Great product and service.

These are the folks if you want to deal with the actual manufacturer of your awnings. We got a few bids and Above All was the fairest. The sales guy was great--came to the house and went over all our options, did the measurements, etc. Took a few weeks, then the installers came (as scheduled) and did a nice job mounting this large (13 x 10) awning. But best of all was the follow up. We had some strange nylon shavings coming out of the winding mechanism so I called and they were back out here quickly. In the process my wife admitted she didnt like the light sand colored front bar that we had picked--wish we had gone with the darker bronze color. Guess what--they not only repaired the winding mechanism (screws were too long and rubbing) they brought out an entire new front bar in dark bronze. Not charge for what was clearly our own misjudgment. Their name says it all.

I had a complaint in the very beginning and after a couple of days, JIM the owner, set up a time and showed up to see what he could do. He saw the problem and he brought back his workers and resolved everything. He has followed up to make sure that the canopy is working great. The problem was the wind sensor not set in the proper place. I am still 100% sure that after all my research I have found the best canopy and mechanism in the Coachella valley. I have noticed several complaints but my guess is, it’s another company that is putting in the jabs. I have never had that much trouble from Above All Awnings and would have gotten my money back and found someone else.Thanks JIM for following up, Don

My experience with Jim and the Above All Awning staff was less than positive.The owner was evasive when approached with design and installation issues. There were multiple appointments made that were either changed or staff did not show. Our awing had to be reinstalled as it was separating off the house due to improper attachment. The owner made promises to return and adjust the awning but we havent seen or heard from him in a year.This is a summary of problems that spanned over 9 months. We are not recommending his company to others.

Contacted company to get a bid. Had questions about the bid and over the last two months have called and left messages, probably 4 or 5 times to answer some questions. Have had no response. Scares me about what could happen if I had them do work for me and had a problem.
