Bought a 2009 F350. Wasn’t running and knowing little about diesels a friend and neighbor gave a high recommendation. I just wanted it to run. Could have had less distance to tow to another shop and the convenience, I chose excel and was not let down. Great service and the detail to do their work was great. All the possible issues addressed to me in an online webpage with all recommendations for the truck with pictures to verify. Awesome way to pick the things that are a priority to fix and ones to let go. I would have my diesel truck serviced their only, if I couldn’t do the work myself! Thanks guys!

Ive been using Excel Diesel for several years now, always for the routine things like oil changes and emissions tests. I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 with the large Cummins diesel engine.Recently I needed major repair work done to the truck after the fuel tank was accidentally filled with premium unleaded gasoline and the truck was then driven for a mile or two before the mistake was realized. The damage and contamination to the fuel system was considerable and the repair required replacement of many of the components of the fuel system. Excel Diesel was my go-to place to repair the truck.It became an expensive insurance claim and Sean, and David at Excel were very helpful and available to assist in getting the insurance claim approved and the work completed. They kept me informed of progress on all phases of the filing of the insurance claim and as the work on the truck progressed. My truck was repaired and is now running great again.I really appreciated how Sean and David kept me informed of what was needed and what choices could be made as the situation progressed. John was the technician who did the repair work and his work was top-notch! I have no hesitation in recommending Excel Diesel for any/all phases of diesel repair. We have always used Excel for emissions for the fleet that I work on. Dropped my personal truck off they were busy said they might need it for 3 or 4 hours which was just fine I think they called me 45 minutes later said it was ready, great service!

I bought a “new to me” ‘97 F250 with a 7.3 and wanted to have all the fluids, etc changed out. They did everything expected, and even let me know a couple things I should keep an eye out for in the future - but they weren’t “up selling” me, which I appreciate. Probably not the cheapest, but I don’t mind paying for quality and dependability. Also - they give you a URL that is specific to your visit that you can access with a web browser. It has pics of your vehicle during the process, with comments, etc.. I’ve never seen that before and it’s super cool to be able to reference exactly what they did to my truck.

It has been 3 years since I have found a shop after moving southeast. David and the team here are awesome, honest, and completed numerous repairs on my 18 year old truck. Very happy to have found this team.

Estimate from coming in for a rattle in my front end was over $8,000. I made an appointment to have my truck looked at for 9am thinking I’d be able to get some advice on a fix same day. Excel took a full day and 3/4 to get back with me and said quite a few things were wrong including my drive shafts being too short after lifting my F350 4”.I got a second opinion from another shop specializing in lifted vehicles and found my driveshafts, boots and all lifted components were in perfect shape. There is an issue with the transfer case that the new shop also found and could have fixed for $1350 (Excel said to replace the transfer case would be $2500 just for the part and they’re on back order through Q1 ‘21). The new shop even sent me pictures of what was wrong, said it would be a two-day fix and put the door with a perfect truck for ~$5000 less than Excel.Sorry boys but you didn’t even catch the turbo issue that was leaking oil all over - you said you got it up on the lift and did all these inspections so how’d you miss that?Not the best experience at all.

Told them about my issues. They asked some questions and gave me a simple solution to help fix my problem. When I took my truck in for my appointment they contacted me within 4 hrs and explained to me the issues I was having and told me I had to get the truck back to the dealership because it was still covered under the warranty. Very honest and helpful.

The guy that checked me in said to me,“Don’t be concerned Brad your first on the list”Always reassuring when other location have their papers get mixed up And don’t recall who was first.Emissions job done in 20 minutes or so and I’m gone.Great service will be back.

I am very unhappy with the customer service that Excel has provided. To do I stopped by because my 2001 Ford F-550 lost power. I knew why and just needed to swap a fuel filter. Now this is a service truck that I needed to get running well again so I could return to my lot for snow removal. I walked in and asked if I could by chance borrow a 1/4 inch wrench to get this filter swapped. I was rudely told no because the tools are owned by the techs (I knew this because I am a tech as well). I then asked, again nicely, if I could speak with a tech. Again I was meet with rudeness and swearing. Now there was a customer in there waiting area so I was then ushered out side. I was then toe to toe being told that tools are not lent out. At this point I am just asking to speak with a tech. I am then told, again very rudely to leave. I ended up going down the road and borrowing a 1/4 inch drive socket from another shop so I could get my truck back on the road and have it be safe. I understand that tools are not lent out, how ever I have let customers borrow a wrench to fix something small in the parking lot before. I will never take any of my tucks to them ever again or recommend them to anyone.To add to that, I have also witnessed the counter staff being extremely rude to customers over the phone, and in person. The way they treat there customers I awful and disgusting. I am not one to leave poor reviews but this one has been earned.Congratulations Excel Diesel, you have lost my business and any future business I may have sent you. All over me asking nicely to borrow a tool for five minutes.

I will never take our truck anywhere else. My husband was stranded on 470 with a broken serpentine belt and no shop could get us in sooner than two weeks. We would go broke waiting, as his work truck is our family’s sole source of income. I put a post on Facebook asking if anyone knew a shop that could get us in sooner and the shop foreman from Excel messaged me on Facebook that if we towed it in they could work on it that day. They leave wiggle room in their schedule to account for emergencies like this!! They found the source of the problem (AC condenser seized) and had the parts on order immediately. Their communication was amazing, super professional and knowledgeable. I feel so good knowing that we have an awesome shop to take our truck for routine and unforeseen maintenance. CANNOT recommend highly enough.

I always get great service here. What I love is they don’t try to up sell me on anything but they will let me know if there is a concern. When they do, they don’t pressure me to have it fixed or replaced there. Their pricing is very fair, in my experience.

I highly recommend Excel Diesel & SUV! My Wife and I are in the US Army and were recently relocating to our new duty station in Kansas. During our trip to Kansas my 2015 Chevy Silverado Duramax diesel went into a reduced power mode and we could only travel 50 miles an hour max and had no acceleration ability while pulling a long trailer. I attempted to call no less than 10 dealerships and diesel repair shops only to be told by all of them that I could not be seen for five days. Thankfully I called David at Excel Diesel. Unbelievably he shifted his schedule to get me in on an emergency basis due to the fact we had been stranded in Denver for three days. He advised me to bring the truck in right away and they would take a look at it and see if they could help. So I took my truck in and sure enough they began diagnosing the problem right away. It ended up that my diesel particulate filter was clogged. Blu was the mechanic who performed the forced regeneration of the DPF. During the process he was very knowledgeable and provided me with additional advice about how to take care of my diesel engine in the future. He was very transparent, honest, and professional. They ended up fixing my vehicle and my family was back on the road within three hours. I cannot recommend them highly enough they saved my family and I from being stranded in Denver even longer. Their pricing and honesty made for an enjoyable experience. Thank you so much for your professionalism, empathy and understanding of our dire situation. Five stars all day long!!

The guys do great work as always, Shawn the shop manager is always on point. He takes the time to explain to customers in depth of what the issues are to their vehicles. This is not the first time they have worked on my truck and they have never disappointed me. Plus he is ex military which is a bonus.

I’ve taken my truck here twice now and both times they have been great. They go above and beyond to figure out what is wrong are always honest. I like the fact that it’s the same mechanic works on my truck every time I take it in so he knows the vehicle and what’s been done to it. This is the only repair shop I will take my 6.0 Powerstroke to for emissions and repair. Very solid staff and knowledgeable. They won’t over sell you something you don’t need. They will however inform you of the health of your vehicle. We live in the mountains of Douglas County pretty far from town and we needed to get an emissions test on our diesel truck to renew our license plates, so we drove all the way to Aircare in Castle Rock only to find out they don’t do emissions testing for diesels. Not wanting to waste a trip, we started calling every other option nearby. Excel Diesel was the only company that was willing to squeeze us in even though they were already pretty busy! When we got there, we only had to wait about 20 minutes and we were on our way. The folks at Excel were very courteous and salvaged what would have been a huge drive and waste of time for us. Needed emissions test for Cummins powered Dodge Ram. Was in the area, so I stopped to make an appt. They were just finishing a test, and offered to test my truck next. 15 minutes later I was finished and on my way. Also, I mentioned to service advisor that I had somehow snapped the handle off the oil dipstick inside the tube. Asked what would be the best method to retrieve it. 10 minutes later tech came into the office with the old dipstick in his hand. They used a nifty trick - heated the plastic neck of the dipstick which allowed them to easily run a screw into the soft plastic. After the plastic cooled the grip was very firm and allowed them to just pull the dipstick out. Great service. I have gone to Excel for many years, jobs large and small, and have always felt that they did great work and treated me fairly.

Took my 14 year old truck in for an emissions test. Honest, courteous, and engaging and no upsell on anything. Although it was FIFO, they got me in and out quickly.2020 Update: Went in for another emission test and got the same great treatment. Call first to check if theyre busy and you wont be disappointed because you expected them to drop everything to do your testing.

We have been going to Parker Imports for at least 8 years. We have older cars and Parker Imports keeps these cars on the road. What we appreciate most is we are not sold service we dont need - in fact, many times we have been told, Lets just keep an eye on this, instead of simply hitting us with a repair prematurely.With a customer-focused approach like this, it causes me to believe them when they say, its time to repair it.
