I cant recommend doing business with this repair shop. I dropped off a camcorder over 1.5 years ago. He insisted on $50 up front and gave me the impression that it was a routine repair, he said it should be done in a few days. A week went by and I called, he was waiting for a part. A few more weeks, called...still waiting. After a month or so, same story. I have called and stopped by, same story. I came to the realization that this man is full of stuff BUT I wanted to get the camcorder back. I bought a used version but needed the power chord from the old one, as well as the chord that attaches to the TV. Amazingly, he answered the phone and without even knowing who I was gave me the most ridiculous story you could imagine as to why his shop has been closed for months. If by chance he reopens, steer clear.

Truthful, if they cant fix it inexpensively, theyll tell you straight up, cheaper to buy new!

Charlie is a liar... he insisted on $40 UP FRONT. To fix one of the most mass produced Fender guitar amps made in recent times...... then I pay him a total of $140 .... he very slyly asked me to play amp in the store... (knowing that it isnt going to make the 5 minute ride home without breaking down; which it did). This took s month...... I take it back.... he says he needs a back ordered power transformer..... 3 more months go by..... he gives me regular dose of lies every 2 weeks or so. Until I finally just go get the amp and take it home..... needless to say I am out the $140.... I can hardly express to you the level of frustration with this guy... an absolute rip off... crud... bold face RIP OFF....the only person Im more mad at is myself for trusting this dimwit.... but, I was new in town and he saw me coming.. nice

I have brought multiple tvs and dvd players here and Charlie has been great to deal with. He is very to the point and will tell you if it is worth fixing or not, etc. It is definitely not a fancy place, but it is a tv repair shop.. what do you expect? I would and will continue to bring my electronics here.

Listen its an odd location and the store is cluttered, but when I have a broken turntable or receiver that other places would say throw it out they can fix it. Where else can I take vintage electronics to be fixed. Sure it can be costly, but I believe its worth it in a time when instead of repairing things we throw them out.
