Clean, organize and good quality on everything, only the price is a little high.
One of the sales girls was not very helpful and was pretty much trying to get rid of us by saying things she made up, not professional at all! But we could tell she was not even trying so we decided to just talk to another sales girl and she was very helpful and found exactly the item we were trying to get the first sales girl to find and she made a sale of $800 and if we had just left after speaking with the first sales girl they would not have made a sale!
Martin at the Pasadena location was so helpful. I was looking into audio and midi recording software and he answered all my questions. He also helped me with some dj lights
Went to the center to look at guitars.dudes i found the perfect one Jim dandy sang a song while I was there nice.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They always greet you at the door and are ready to answer any questions you may have. Ive been coming here for years and the customer service is always great. However, Im giving it 4 stars for their lack of ukulele selection and instruments of that sort. They support rock n roll here (which I love), but not so much any other genre. You wont really find many classical guitars, electric ukuleles, banjos, mandolins, etc. I guess it really is a GUITAR center 😂 other than that, love the atmosphere.

If you guys are going to have a mask policy in a state where masks are NOT required then you guys should hand out masks to customers since it is YOUR store policy. Not the states policy. You should NOT force people to wear masks. I was refused service for not having a mask in a state where masks are NOT required. I asked for a mask from the employees and was told they did not have any masks for customers. Guitar center has a mask policy? Guitar center should provide the masks. I will no longer shop at this location or any location that enforces masks.

The manger of the store is very helpful and does an excellent job running this store. I will definitely be buying from here again. Get your guitars from here, you will be happy you did.
I wasn’t wearing a mask, not mandated by the stat of Texas, but company rules- I get it. They didn’t have masks and kicked me out- said they didn’t need my money. If you’re going to force people to wear masks you should provide them. Like The Music and Art store did and received my money!
Real good service after hearing several speakers I end up buying the harbinger speaker v4112 very loud base and clear highs I recommend it

Nice enough staff, but they wont knock anyone over to try to help you. They also have trouble keeping the internet inventory squared with whats actually available in the store. Other than that, the selection is pretty dang good and the prices are pretty hard to beat. Maybe not my #1 go to guitar store but not bad at all.

I love this store due to my obsession with guitars. That being said the staff is enthusiastic and a blast to talk music with. I didnt give 5 stars just because while Guitar Centers prices are very competitive given the enormous selection; those same prices are fairly out of most peoples budget on an instrument. You guys ROCK!!

One of my favorite places to visit even when I dont need anything! The employees are always very knowledgeable and very helpful if you cant decide between items and sometimes have experience with the items first hand. Overall great place and always a great experience!!

People at the store I go to on Fairmont in Pasadena is kind of careless and not very attentive or kind. You are pretty much on your own. I dont know what these guys think they are but most of the times they seem to be working on something else but helping customers. I just stopped going there only if I need something urgently like drumsticks or little things.
This is one of the shadiest Guitar Centers I have ever dealt with. I ordered a used item that they had online. I called a few days later and was told by an employee that the really wished that they could have bought the item because they wanted it badly. Two days later they cancelled the order without calling me or telling me why the order was cancelled. When I called to ask why, I was told that the item was ‘missing a part’ so they couldn’t sell it. I told them I was okay with it missing that part and would still like to purchase it, but they said I couldn’t. Sure sounds like the employee just cancelled the order so they could buy it. I am so disgusted by this. I worked at Guitar Center for 7 years and would have been fired in an instant if I pulled half of the jokes this place does.
Love going to this store. Percussion session always has so much to chose from.

I always get great customer service whenever I visit here. Now that Im taking a greater interest in DJing and music-making, theres always someone there to assist me with everything I need to make my experiences better.

I was lied to by multiple people at this store about an order I made online from this store, one of the people being the operations manager. I have called multiple times asking for the store manager and I either get hung up on or put on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up on. If I was their district manager, I would be ashamed of how the employees of this store treat their customers.
I always enjoy hanging out at Guitar Center. The selection is REALLY Salim right now on guitars and especially basses, but that isnt their fault. Production and shipping have taken a hit due to Covid. Go see Keegan. Hell take care of you.
Pasadena store is a little bigger than the one in league city but the staff in league city seems to be more helpful/knowledgeable. Pasadena store has a used electric drum set just thrown in the corner with dust collecting. Looks like its been there awhile. Pasadena store seems pretty disorganized.

When buying a electric guitar its important to play at different volume. She didnt even give me 1 minute before lowering to almost nothing. Bad way to sell guitars. The guy that checked me out was ok.

The worst experience! The employees their customer service /sales reps have no knowledge of products. My boyfriend and I went to Guitar center on Mother’s Day to purchase drum equipment and hardware. First you stand in line and face masks are required which is good with us. Once your in the store your assigned a sales rep/ a customer service rep to answer all your questions The girl that was assigned to us could not answer the questions we had and said it herself that she didn’t know too much about drums and the questions could be better answered by the “drum guy” and then she asked if we wouldn’t mind waiting which we replied with sure we can wait. She came back to say he was with a customer and it would be a few minutes and that was fine with us. We continued to look at items and that’s when she came back and told us we needed to call the 800 number to inquire about the items we needed. Which we didn’t understand why when we were already there. We would not be getting any help from the guitar center drum guy because there are customers in line outside Confused confused! If the drum hardware is in store and we’re paying customers then why were we told to call the 800 number? To place the order? The girl kept on saying that there are waiting customers outside and each customer only had a 15 minute time limit to question and purchase what’s needed.... per manager. As we were walking out “Manager”said we needed to know what we’re purchasing because of the 15 minutes that a customer is given to seek and purchase.No customer service skills what so ever! Given these trying times with Covid -19 they lost out on a huge buy from us and possibly a nice commissionGood luck to the next paying customerCharles T. & Nicole G.

This guitar center is somewhat like a home to me. Everyone that works here is absolutely amazing! They are always making sure I dont need anything, and when I do need something, they are very helpful and find it. I love this place and would highly recommend it.

I came in during the 11:00 hour. No one greeted me and no one asked if I needed any help. I found what I was looking for easily, but noticed that a lot of items arent priced where they are located. Checkout was fast and friendly.
They have never failed to make me feel welcome. They are taking precautions right now while also letting you browse the store freely.
Store was kind of messy and the employees were not very savvy but were nice. They also dont have much inventory.
Lessons here were so quick and easy to set up! The lessons manager Lorenzo was great and super nice. He helped me pick a time around my busy schedule and paired me with a very sweet and talented piano instructor, Alyssa. Awesome people!

Been taking guitar lessons here for a few months. Great progress very supportive in what you want to learn. Especially if its just for fun. They wont waste your time bring a song get the tabs and you will be playing by the end of the day.

We went here to just look, the sales people were nice and helpful. They helped us to take guitars down and plug to amps in order to play them to here the tones. We went back several times and then we bought the best guitars for us.

Just about anything for a musician. I go to look at guitars and they have a large and ever changing selection. Sales people are available but not bothersome. Used gear selection varies by store and can be viewed on line. Used gear can be purchased and shipped to store free from any other store.
Nice workers friendly and polite and wanted to help me out finding what I needed but not trying to ask me questions too much which I find irritating just seemed honestly interested in what I had to say and asked me if I needed help in general. 5 stars!
I love going in to the store if I ever come across the $1000 I can just blow this will be the 1st places I come. I want to learn to play the Box drum that they have. Never Learned To play as a guitar and I dont like the drums maybe all pick up the flute are sure love the harmonica.

They told my father and I we were not allowed back because of an incident they fabricated, saying I was yelling in their store. When we attempted to talk to the employees about why, they tried to intimidate us and threatened to call the police on us, even though we were in the parking lot not hurting anyone. I do not appreciate their attitude, especially when my father spends thousands of dollars with this company.

Ive been to other stores where they tell me what i want to hear to make a sale. The staff here wants you to leave happy and not come back unhappy. At least in my experience.

The store itself is very well maintenance. The prices on products were displayed with no confusion. The staff were absolutely all star. Jasmine showed me a loop pedal that Ill be purchasing soon. She took the time out to explain its functions. The gentleman at the cash register was super cool and made sure I was taken care of properly and also presented a sweepstakes opportunity and a $20 plan for guitar concerning purchasing of strings in which I get a $5 discount on strings in the future. I was in the store a good 15 minutes before I was approached by sales person. Staff was congregated around the cash registers acting silly. NOT professional at all! I asked questions about some instruments and accessories and Sales People had no idea what I was talking about. If I had to, I would rate this experience 1/2 star! NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!

Went to buy a Guitar for a Birthday present. During the checkout the clerk kept answering the phone, ignoring me and my purchase. After the second phone call, I ask him what made it more important to help the people on the phone and ignore my presence. He said they have to answer the phone. I will take my money else where. Just dont understand why its so hard to give great customer service. They have no clue, and for sure wasnt looking for advice from me... Save your time, choose a different store to make your purchase. You deserve better! Shame on you Michael Patters (Manager).
Limited selection in the store. The clerks offer to check for products online, but I can do that myself and get free shipping to my home. I want the opportunity to see the merchandise in person and compare it with other choices.

I took down my previous bad review for this update: the store seems to have improved allot. The staff was very friendly and drum department looks great. The last few times I was here it was a wreck and I hadnt returned in a few months.. They werent able to help me with exactly what I needed this time, but were still very helpful and nice about it. Ill definitely be coming back.
Staff very accommodating and friendly but sadly we went to try out a class for kids that we signed up online for and with no notification class was canceled due to lack of instructors or already booked for other classes on top of ours. We had already made the drive with excited kids to great disappointment.
Dont give much on trade-ins but they have good deals on new stuff. Cheaper than Amazon and will not show up smashed from UPS
The management is the most unprofessional group Ive ever done business with. For a large chain like guitar center Id expect a more business like approach to making sales and customer service. A few employees tho are very courteous, they keep the store in business. Also, how hard is it to answer the phone!? If you get them to answer the phone consider yourself lucky.
