I have worn a Beltone hearing aid for a number of years. However, since coming to California, I began to notice that my hearing was declining somewhat. Even with my hearing aid, I was not getting all of every conversation I attempted to have, and I thought perhaps the part that goes in the ear may need changing. So I looked up the closest Beltone office and called. I spoke with Mr.Jerry Tan and he gave me the address.Upon arriving, I asked for two ear inserts for my hearing aid. Mr Tan explained that he needed to do some adjustments each time we replace the earpiece. he and his son took the piece to their computers for adjustment. He then explained to me that my hearing was set on only the lowest setting, no.#1, and that he had noticed when I arrived that I was not hearing all of the conversation we were having and he was going to set it up so I had the option of THREE levels of hearing, depending on what I was doing. Then he cautioned me to use only the lowest setting for traffic, since horns honking or sirens blaring might be too loud for me.I was thrilled! I didnt know my hearing aid had three settings that I could choose from, depending on the situation! The stress of not hearing others in various situations was gone! I had basically been reading lips to get the full conversation in any store I went into, so you can imagine my frustration when COVID began to require masks and reading lips was out of the question! I was constantly apologizing to clerks in stores and doctors and my friends and family are happy too!Beltone is a fine company and their hearing aids are marvelous! I wouldnt have any other. But if you want not only a competent technician, but one who notices your individual hearing needs and cares for each on of his patients personally, then, by all means, come to 3500 E. Colorado Blvd., #108, their Pasadena office, and ask for Mr Jerry Tan, to assist you with whatever hearing challenge you might presently be dealing with. You will be glad you did! - Sarah

But more than that, Jerry’s knowledgeable expertise, his patience, and his always positive and helpful instruction have benefited both my wife and myself. I always come away with a greater understanding of my wife’s hearing problem, how to get the most out of the hearing aids, how to use the technology effectively. I could not be happier with their service, an absolute amazing and wonderful experience ! I am very satisfied with the quality of customer service, the professionalism and the product ! The owner and staffs are extremely competent, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They would go for another mile to make sure my needs were taken care of. I am so amazed with the follow up they made to make sure I was completely satisfied with my hearing aids. I would highly recommend this business to anyone !
