I paid $400 dollars for them to redo my front brakes. They did the rotors and brake pads so they said. Here we are 3 months later and my brakes have went bad. They are squeaky and are scrubbing really bad already. I have got my brakes done several times and never paid this much and never had them go bad this fast. They wouldnt touch my brakes unless they did the rotors. I have had several vehicles and never had to redo rotors to get new brake pads on. I would never use this company again. Was not worth the 400 dollars i paid to get them done. Ill use a shade tree mechanic before i use them again. Dont waste your money.

In Pensacola, Florida at the Mobile Hwy. Store, they purposely over tighten my back right lug nuts on a back brake job! They replaced everything on the back brakes. I could not get the back right tire loosened and if I had a flat, I would have to call a tow truck! They would not loosen those lug nuts, unless I paid for them to work on my truck again! They said, that they tighten the tires down to specifications and they cant change that! Why was the left side not to tight? This is a scam to get more work and I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! This is CRIMINAL.

This place is a joke.... They told me Ill be wasting my money on an alignment after I told them that I had a little vibration but I just replaced my axles and control arm. The garage was empty. They adjusted my rotors the whole service was only 30 minutes. My brakes were squeaking beforehand and they no longer squeak!!

First time to have brake service today. Online appointment scheduling was convenient. Mechanics Bryan and Jessie were excellent. Assistant manager Alex was friendly and explained well the findings and recommendations for repairs. Trustworthy and their pricing is reasonable. Will definitely come back for any future brake service. Great teamwork.

Very fast fronted alignment!

Got new brakes, rotors, and my rear drums re-serviced December 2019 which all came with a “lifetime warranty “ ;so I took my truck up there today to get my warped rotors turned and they said that because I have lug adapters the warped rotor was my fault and that I need all new rotors and pads. Went to Vannoy’s and they turned my rotors no problem. Wouldn’t recommend.

Professional, courteous, priced right, and a job well done. I didnt have a long wait although I did go ready to wait an hour or more if they wouldve been real busy.They were busy enough that almost every lift was occupied, but they got on my car right away, estimated the brake job and got it done RIGHT in under an hr.I recently moved from Pennsylvania where I had my mechanic and everyone else for specific jobs. Needless to say, Ive had my share of run-ins with schemers. Glad I found these guys. I came on a recommendation from a family friend.I highly recommend these guys before going to the big shops, where a lot of times youll end up having to deal with high-priced scheming jokers. My favorite brake shop for sure.

Never written a one star review in my life but I had an appointment to get my brakes done here today 08/07/20 and when I arrived and was trying to dissect which entrance to use the guys just pointed the other direction, made a very rude face, and looked back down at their phones.I went to the other entrance and they didn’t even look up from their phones to guide me, I waited for them to look up, to ensure I was using the correct entrance and when one finally did he just looked down at his phone again. I just left, will be getting my brakes done somewhere else. I’m not one to expect fantastic customer service, as long as the job gets done and people are not overtly rude I dont really care. However, they were just awful and lacked the common courtesies needed to even do their jobs.Edit: I parked at the Walmart across the street to find a new place to get my brakes done and write this review. While I was calling other brake shops, a car pulled into the same lane I originally tried to pull into when I was rudely shood away. I guess they were just to busy looking at their phones the minute I pulled up (1:59pm, my appointment was a 2pm) to help me.

They were not able to perform what my car needed and were very straight forward with me on the explanation of what was wrong and that they did not have the tools needed to fix my car. They took the time to take my tires off several times to figure out how Wal-Mart had screwed my tires up and then went the extra mile to try to fix the issue the best thru could without charging me extra!!! Would recommend to EVERYONE!!!

I brought my vehicle in the other week and they replaced all my brakes. Later that day, I noticed my e-brake wasn’t holding on slopes. I brought it back in the following day for an adjustment. They fixed that issue however other problems arose after a few days. To date I’ve returned 3 times to re-address the issues, each time they would do what they do and claim to have fixed it. Sadly, the problem is back yet again. This was my first experience with Budget Brakes. Needless to say, it’s my last ever. I can’t afford to keep taking time off from work for bandaid fixes. I’ll be bringing my vehicle somewhere else for help in straightening out their mess once and for all and will be sharing this experience with everyone.

Brought my car in for new brakes and was charged about $300 more than what I was quoted. I was told when I called for the quote they gave me the price of the front brakes, and they left out that the back ones are WAY more expensive. Staff was unprofessional as the two men at the counter were talking loudly about fighting with their wives over other women. Not to mention the person in front of me- came in to get new brakes, and they removed all his tires saying he needed new ones. When he declined, they put the tires back on and tried to charge him for the extra labor. For what we ended up paying we couldve taken it to our trusted dealership, which is definitely what well do next time. Long story short: STAY AWAY. They are full of hidden fees, and it all feels like a scam.

When I went to Pep Boys for a brake quote I was told it would cost me close to $700! I went to Budget and they were far less money, honest and fair! I also didn’t have to wait too long which was nice bc I had my baby with me. I’m going back today to get my other vehicle done as well. Great experienceSo I’m here right now with my other vehicle and they saved the day again! I hadn’t driven my car in awhile and I had all kinds of rust. The manager was very honest and let me know how much it could cost, but came up with a way to save me $200 while getting a quality job done as well! I really appreciate the honesty and fair pricing especially during the holidays! I will be back again in the future. 😊

I would recommend this business hands down because of the great experience I had there. I thought my brakes needed to be replaced due to a loud noise everytime I stopped. I took my car in and it was inspected by the manager who let me know that they did not need to be replaced but cleaned instead. I paid for the cleaning and afterward I forgot I had a coupon for a free brake cleaning. I went back up to the register and asked for a refund. He told me that he couldnt refund me but would send me a check in the mail. I said OK, not expecting to receive a check. In a week. I did receive a refund for the full amount, which shows that he is an honest business man and I therefore, will continue to do business with them and also recommend this business to anyone who needs brake service. Its few and far between to find any honesty like this anymore and I appreciated it very much .

Not a good place. Went here to see about my back brakes because it seemed to be an issue. Waited 20 minutes to have my car lifted, they offered to see what was wrong and I explained what I noticed and know, 30 minutes later Im told it was one thing and it will cost this much. (Note, I was on my lunch break trying to get answers and a quote). I knew what they told me wasnt right. It couldnt be. (Turned out to be wrong). I then informed the guy Id talk to my husband and go from there. It took 30 minutes to get my car back. That makes no sense. I visually saw them just hanging out and messing with my car every few minutes.Not to mention the quote they gave me was full of fees and charges. Come on.Gist of the visit, I am not coming back. I gave two stars because they took a look at my car. Not everyone will do that.

Satisfied with the service that I received and the gentlemen that worked there were pleasant. They took care of my brake issue and when I had another issue with the brakes a couple days later they made sure they solved the problem. Thanks guys!!

I wasnt sure to get brake services here because of the negative reviews, still visited the place and Im more than thankful. The price is not only amazingly great, but this people are good people and knew what they were doing. I got ceramic breaks done and I got quoted at other places was at least $150 more. The guys there are very honest and will go beyond their work requirements to help. I would say to give them a chance and check it out, you will save some serious $$. They did more than what I pay for, thats the bottom line. Being nice and respectful takes you long ways and they are that and very professional!

Had a front brake issue, went to a tire kingdom earlier in the week and got a $1300 estimate. Took it to budget brakes with no mention of previous estimate. Their estimate was $699, and you could literally match up the the 2 side by side and see the savings. I told Sean I had $200 I could spend today, and he made it work, and also layed out the plan for the rest of my needs. Inspection took 20 minutes, work took 20. In and out and happy, knowing work was great and honest!

One of the few shops in town that could handle a 4 wheel alignment on a custom Jeep suspension. Very willing and able to explain required repairs and work was done right and quickly the first time. Top marks.

Came in for free brake check, my brakes were sticking, was told its my ABS module $1300 part plus labor, then will need to take it to dealer for programing. long story short found mobile mechanic on letgo, replace collapsed brake lines, total cost $60 labor included.

The reason I went to Budget Brakes is because my front brakes were squeaking. I just had the brake pads replaced recently. I waited for about an hour. They did a bunch of things I did not ask for. Bottom line: They wasted my time, treated me like an nuisance. And they did not fix the squeaking noise.First of all, these guys treated my car like a piece of junk. He threw my tires and hubcaps on the ground like they were garbage. When I asked questions about whats wrong and try to figure out what may be causing the problem, the manager responded by saying, Dont ask me hundreds of questions! I dont have time for this! They produced a sheet that had a bunch of things listed that needed to be replaced on the car. When I asked for the results, the manager said, Why do you need that paper? so you can buy those parts online for cheaper? I know your type! I was like Woa! Is this how they treat their potential customers around here? This is incredible! This is worse than I have ever seen! I wont be coming back here, thats for sure!

Do not go to this place! We took our truck in because it was like trying to stop a freight train. The guy drove off in our truck like a bat out of hell, and drove it like he stole it to test our brakes. Pulled in, and told us we had no brakes what so ever. Then proceeded to tell us that we had no brakes to do our power steering, changed his mind and said we had a leak. So he checks for a leak in our lines to find no leak. Then changed his mind to saying our truck had fluids contaminated, that we must have recently poured power steering in our brakes. Then told us we needed new everything, and that our calipers were stuck. Spun our tires and said we had no pressure. Told us our brake pads were completely wore, that we needed a new hydro boost, and new master cylinder. The total cost would be 2000. We told him there was no way we were doing the work there. So he poured us some break fluid and told us that it should get us to where we were going. We have Arkansas plates since we just moved to Pensacola, and were 100% sure they thought they could scam us so we could get back to Arkansas. In the end we found out our master cylinder was faulty. Had it changed out, and needed nothing else. These guys are nothing but a scam. Dont let them take you for your money. Get a second opinion first.

Paid more than $100 less for a brake job than the quote I received from the other guys on Michigan Ave. who tried to sell me new rotors that I didn’t need. Budget brakes has the machinery needed to resurface rotors which will save you money on your brake job!

I went in for freebrake check and I was charged 39.99 to clean and adjust the back brakes. The guy replaced the front brakes and hardware cause he said the brake were sitting on the rotor... My total bill was 299.88.... Seriously Shawn.. . Ill never be back... Oh... Clean up your parking lot... With all the nuts and bolts everywhere....

They lost our RV hub and didnt tighten lug nuts, lost one those too, brake light still on, cost us about 250, and now still need more work done and replacement of hub and nut

They fixed my brakes quickly, but Im fairly certain they told me more needed to be replaced than needed to. I did, because I was in a crunch for time, but I think I could have saved a hundred bucks or so by shopping around.

Pep pirates across the street tried to trick me with a bloated and incorrect repair estimate. Wrong guy! Master cylinder was not in need of replacement & rotors were ok, as I well knew. Budget Brakes gave me an accurate and fair estimate, with no trickery and found they found 2 overlooked problems- faulty leaking caliper, along with another missed diagnosis by pirates... a plunger that had fallen out; into the drum. PB estimate was over $500 to fix stuff thst was not needed. When I eliminated the master cylinder replacement, PBs estimate was still over $500! Sean, at BB fixed the right things for $300! Beware of pirates. Budget Brakes is honest and fair!

Let me just say this. I have NEVER been scammed the way that these guys did. I took my Honda Fit in to get brakes. They quoted me a price and I was really not pleased with it but I agreed because I didnt have time to waste.So they do the brakes and that day I had to drive to Birmingham. I got half way there and the front end was shaking, I called the manager and he said to bring it back so I had to turn around and drive 2 hours home and wasted the entire work day. Then heres the fun part. I took the car in the next morning and I was asked Did you run over something? and I said No. Then amazingly he says Where did you take this car when you left here? I said I drove to Montgomery and had to turn around and come back.He walks me out to the car and says Someone took off your axle nuts. Seriously, he said that after I left his shop I went somewhere else and had my axle nuts removed? At this point I was seeing that someone in that shop was new, they took off the axle nuts and didnt replace them. Then the guy says Well we will have to go get some axle nuts and I went outside to call a client and NO ONE left that shop and when I got off the phone I went back in and the manager says OK we got ya ready to roll. I was immediately in shock. I said you already went and got axle nuts and he said yes we bought them at the Advanced Auto Parts down the street. I knew he was lying. They had my axle nuts because they were left off. I was very upset but I just wanted to get in my car and leave. When I left I went to the auto parts store and asked him if he could sell me some axle nuts, he aid Dont stock those but I can order them. In other words Budget Brakes LIED to me and deceived me.Then there was a warning light on my car and the guy said Oh yea when the axle nuts were off it caused the brake sensors to go bad, Ill have to order some from Honda. They ordered them and the next day put them on my car.After this happened I emailed the company and NO ONE ever responded. Whatever you do DO NOT go to this place, they are an absolute RIP OFF. I am going to contact the BB and an attorney about there lies and practices
