Been searching for a good mechanical shop for a while and recently stumbled upon East Hill Auto as I was getting gas at the gas station decided to take my chances and walked in for an estimate. To my surprise the estimate was really reasonable and the service was quick. Will come back with my other two vws in the near future. Highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. Great mechanical service and also great customer service.

I called East Hill Automotive Center on 10/19/2021 to inquire about them diagnosing my 2012 Jaguar XF. The associate on the phone assured me that they would would try to diagnose it but it would have to wait until the week of 10/25/2021. I hung up and called Fletchers Towing (great company) to tow the car to them and I get a call from a female associate at East Hill saying that cannot work on the car for three weeks and they have no space to store it until then. This basically meant I wasted $95 towing it to them. They were unwilling to tow it or reimburse for the tow bill.

Dropped my truck for computer analysis of check engine light. That costs $85 up front whatever you do. Should have left then.Took about 2 days and 2 phone calls to get it done after dropping it off and borrowing car. They said it was emissions and I questioned if that really needed to be repaired or some CA regulations?They claimed Well to get light off, we need to correct problem Shouldve left then. Total of over 500$ later and about 2 more days, I get truck back.Less than 5 weeks later the check engine light on, I went to TIRE TRUST that another brother recommended. They have me drive up, stop what they are doing and run FREE computer check. GUESS WHAT..... emissions problem again. Hmmmmm.He suggests resetting light, and recheck if comes on again as emissions I am going to go back to East Hill Auto and give them a piece of my mind but NEVER TAKING A VEHICLE THERE AND WARN ANYBODY ELSE ....EXPECT TO WAIT AND OVERPAY AND MAYBE EVEN NOT GET THE REPAIR RIGHT!!!

I called East Hill because the night before another service came out to change my tire. They put the new tire on but did not tighten the lug nuts. They got lose on the way to work. East Hill sent out Hunter to tighten them because I didn’t have a lug wrench. It was cold and it was wet but Hunter is the consummate professional with a great attitude. He was knowledgeable and helpful and I will call them if I need automotive help. Thanks Hunter.

I called AAA for a vehicle tow. It took East Hill 5 hours to get to the Moline cutting off.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE.This is the first time in my life I have ever stopped and taken time out of my busy day to leave a negative review about any business. Ive always felt like people just have bad days sometimes and I like to give people the benifit of the doubt.I am writing this review in their parking lot after it has been here for almost 4 days.They installed a fuel pump in my truck. It now has diesel pouring out of one of the fittings to that pump. Obvious warranty issue. I asked why they prioritize new business and let their warranty work sit for 4 days and the lady just politely smiled. Anyone reading this knows the answer to that question.Ive had them work on this vehicle 3 times and told them that that I wanted them to do the work based on my past experience with them. I was a paying customer the other times but when it comes to backing up their work this is how Ive been treated. (Im nobody special, just someone that needed help because my work depends on my vehicle. I suspect most of their customers are just like me). They were very matter of fact about it and unapologetic. I was told on Monday it would be tomorrow. Then it was there are 2 ahead of you on Tuesday. On Wednesday I was told it would be in the afternoon. Now its Thursday and Im being told they have no idea when they can do it.After them having it since 6am Monday morning (its lunch on Thursday now) they cant tell me when it will be done. Almost a whole week wasted.Piss pour customer service. A phone call saying they are still backed up and I would have never written this.

Jay and his techs are world class. Nothing they can’t handle. Knocked out the mechatronics sleeve on my 330xi. Way better price than the dealer. Send your mom sister brother dad cousins. Whoever! They will be in good hands. Hats off to Mike my tech over there. Thanks!

Solid shop. They were pretty backed up and a couple techs down at one point so it took a few days to look at my car. But they were cool about it, didnt treat me or my car like something to just mark off the list. Jessica was great in the way she can manage a slew of phone calls and people waiting in the lobby without missing a beat while maintaining courtesy. The guy up front (which I think is Jay? didnt catch his name but he had a pretty swell beard) was cool too. Even complimented my car, which was awesome of him. Thanks, EHAC!

I used east hill auto for a towing service. Logan was amazing and extremely professional! It was very important for me to have a good reliable tow considering that I drive a high end car. Logan made me feel comfortable and safe. I followed behind him as he towed he was A great driver and made it easy for me to follow. I will use this company again for any of my towing needs! Easthill automotive is by far the best shop in Pensacola. They consistently do quality work which I can always rely on getting done right the first time. They always deliver on quality work from the towing services to the mechanics to the professional woman who runs the shop. Even the owner has been helpful and always very personable. He takes pride in his work and goes the extra mile for his clients. You can trust that your vehicle is in good hands at Easthill Automotive.

I would like to leave an excellent review for one of the tow truck drivers, Nathan. Last Saturday night my car ran out of gas on the interstate due to a faulty sensor which causes my gas gage to show my tank as more full than it is. As a result, I was stranded alone for over 2 hours waiting on a gas delivery through triple A, some 90 minutes past the estimated arrival time they gave me. As it turns out, the first driver passed me. When I called to make sure they were coming, I spoke with Nathan who personally took responsibility for the call and came to pick me up himself and tow me to the nearest station. As luck would have it, Nathan actually helped me before back in September under similar circumstances, which tells me that he is just the kind of hard working person who steps up and handles a situation when it is needed. Being a woman stranded alone on the side of the interstate at 10pm on a Saturday is a scary experience and I cannot thank Nathan enough for making my situation a priority and getting me to safety. East Hill Automotive, thank you for employing great people! I will recommend your services based on my experience with Nathan.

After 8 days received a call saying what was wrong and estimate of how much to repair but they would get back on specifics, etc. After 12 days of car sitting there, and 4 different days of being told they would get back to me by the end of the day (never did), I finally took the car somewhere else who had the car in and out in 5 days with all the work completed. If you have multiple vehicles and dont need your vehicle, this may be the place for you. If you need to get your car back right away, dont go there.

Up front and honest with you. Brought my car in be checked out,but they couldnt find anything,so it didnt cost me a dime!

I had a great experience with East Hill Automotive. I was met by a friendly tow truck driver Cody who had great communication and was very professional and had my vehicle towed to their facility on Brent. The service was the best i have experienced with constant communication and updates on my repairs. I will definitely use East Hill on Brent for any future needs and will recommend them to anyone who either needs a tow or repairs on their vehicles. My car broke down in a Publix parking lot and I call my insurance for towing. I was lucky enough to be paired with Logan at East Hill for the tow service. Logan was on-time, patient, and very knowledgeable. Logan went above and beyond my expectations, he even offered to meet me half way when I forgot to leave my keys with the car. I felt confident in having my vehicle handled by him and will continue to call east hill for any other needs.

It took them 4 1/2 hours to change my tire and charged me $50.00 I went there because I almost had a flat. The next day I went to Pete Moore and they gave me an oil change rotated my tires, fixed my tire and washed my car in less than 1 1/2 hourall for $73.00. I will never go to East Hill auto again.

I have dealt with east hill once before and received good service so I came back as they offered the best price (and additional discounts) by far for my car repair. I spoke with Jay on the phone and he was able to give me a great quote and offered excellent customer service! When I got here he informed me that he was able to save me a ton of money on my repair and I ended up paying a whole lot less than I thought I was going to! Jay is Awesome!

My car broke down at a gas station not far from the shop. They had prompt towing service available. I had a bad starter. I Googled the estimate to be prepared. The total cost was less than anticipated even after tax & they threw in an oil change, too. Will definitely use in the future!

This is place is absolutely amazing!Jonathan and Skip have blown me away with not only the service provided but their amazing customer service. I went in on a Saturday just to ask some questions about my broken A/C and ended up having my problem fixed within the hour which I wasnt expecting that day but so grateful.Skip was friendly and super efficient. He explained what caused the issue and answered all my questions. which for me is so important most places dont take the time.Jonathan was so very kind and took care of me right away even though he was off the clock. This business is a great place to go when you want honest, fast, and accurate estimate for your car repairs. Called about an oil change and Jessica got me right in. Waited maybe 20 minutes from start to finish. I have been bringing my vehicles to Adam and his crew for a few years now and they cant be beat.

My fiance’s car broke down tonight on the way home from dinner. My insurance company gave me an hour eta, but Cody & the guy training with him were there in 10 min. Cody was very polite & professional. He explained that the other guy was training & he kept his eye on him. The other guy said hello, asked how we were doing, and got to work. Cody answered our insurance questions as best he could, gave us the address to where the car was being towed, and asked if we needed anything else. I cannot say enough good things about East Hill Automotive. I called to speak with Jay about my grandmas car that was in service. She asked me to talk to them and make sure they were on the up and up because Im the family mechanic (I live out of town) and I always worry that someone will try to sell her unnecessary repairs or maintenance. You guys, Jay is awesome! I asked him to explain to me what they had found (without telling him I am a tech). He told me exactly which tests they had done and why. It was precisely the tests I would have run, in the same order. On top of that, he was very polite and professional, and was not at all bothered that I had called to ask a bunch of questions. My son who is 16, Got his car stuck and needed to be towed. Two days after the hurricane, trying to call around trying to find a tow truck was almost impossible. Cody drove up and Asked me if I Had anyone on the way. He hooked it up and had his car out in 15 minutes or less. Cody was very nice l, honest and professional. I will definitely do business again. Give Cody a raise!

By far the best and most honest service I have ever experienced all around. I have used them to repair my Honda truck, ford truck, spyder motorcycle, Honda Element and my RV. I know enough about vehicles to know when I am being told the truth and they have never ever done me wrong. And above all that the prices are lower than other quotes I have been given and the turn around times are lower. You will not be disappointed.

I moved away years ago but when I decided to buy a project vehicle in Colorado, I sent it all the way back to Pensacola to have these guys do the work. After an LS swap, trans swap and basically building out a new powerplant, the FJ runs like new and with tons more power. One minor issue we found when getting it home and EHA made it right from 1500 miles away. Amazing company. Jay and his team are fantastic.

They are ripping people off, got quoted almost 800 to fix my driver side window, he called me and said he found a cheaper part but when I get up there to pay, it’s the same amount he quoted me in the beginning and he tried to lie to me and say he took off some money, I paid and just let it go and now after getting ripped off, 6 to 8 months later, my driver side window is doing the same thing, so much for quality work

First off I would be weary of any Google review for this shop. They offer you a discount on their overpriced service by having you leave a Google review before you get your vehicle and can tell if your issue is resolved and will only give you the discount after they see the review is already posted. I brought my vehicle in with two issues. After receiving my vehicle back the check engine light came back on with the same issue and the noise I was hearing was still intermittent. They charged me $250 in diagnostics for the two issues and neither were resolved. I called them to see if the issue could be fixed without additional diagnostic fees. They were unwilling to do this or to offer any sort of discount. There are plenty of other better shops in the area, do yourself a favor and avoid this headache.

I was visiting from out of town when my car broke down with transmission issue. I spoke to Jessica who was so sweet and professional and towed my car within an hour and got to work right away. They managed to fix the car by the end of the day! Not only did they rescue our vacation, but identified two other issues missed by my mechanic back home. I would highly recommend.

Me and my sisters were visiting Gulf Breeze, 11 hours away from home, when my car broke down and we were at a total loss on what to do and where to go. Devin towed my car and immediately put us at ease, reassuring us that East Hill Automotive was the place to take it and that they could get it back on the road in no time. This place was recommended to us by Devin, who had to tow our car to the shop after it broke down. We are from South Carolina and were very stressed about getting home with an 11 hour drive after having car issues, but Jay and his staff were able to fit us in in the same day and get us ready and set to be on our way. They went above and beyond in making us feel safe and better about the circumstances and I can’t say anything better about them!

They quoted me $3600 for a job that cost me $1900 at another shop. Lol, nice try. They also tried to get me to leave a five star review. Once again, nice try. They also charged me $130 for a “one hour diagnosis” that told me literally nothing at all. 👎😾

They towed my car in no charge, and took the time to thoroughly check it out and diagnose the problem. I appreciate they were open on Memorial day, and I didnt have to be without my car for long. I would like to share my experience with this auto shop so that hopefully noone has to go through what I did. Here is my story: my car broke down on the interstate while I was driving through Navarre, literally just stopped running so I called highway patrol and they sent this company to tow my car and bring back to their shop. Because I was over 2 hours from where I live I agreed to do so. My car was in their shop for about 4 days before they even looked at it and on the 5th day they told me they found out that it was just a starter and an oil change and it would be ready by 530. They told me it would be 544 dollars and I agreed to pay just to get my car back so I got a ride down there and paid the money and I as I waiting for them to give me my car I noticed they were still working on it so they tell me that the battery needs to be charged and I could come back in the morning. The following morning I call multiple times to see if my car is ready and with no answers I tell them just stop working on it I will have it towed back. They then tell me an hour later that my engine is blown, I had recently found out there was a recall on my cars engine, so I tell them about the recall and they say it does not pertain to my car that I have to buy a new engine. I get the car towed back and had my family mechanic look at the car and he says it was deff the engine but it was related to the recall so I again call this shop and read the recall paperwork to the manager and he again tells me there is no way my car will be covered under a warranty or a recall that I shouldnt even contact them because my situation was completely unrelated and he already checked all the recalls and warranties and there was no way my car would be covered. On a hunch. I decided to have my car towed to the dealership to check the recall and that was the best decision I ever made because they told me that it was the recall that caused my engine to fail and now they are replacing my engine, my gut saved me thousands of dollars when had I listened to these people I would have paid out of pocket for something that was never my fault nor in my control. My best interest was never in these peoples minds, they were all about making money, they got 544 dollars out of me for a starter I never needed but worst of all I brought to their attention multiple times that this recall was related to my engine and they made me feel as if I had no idea as to what I was talking about and never actually took the time to try to help me out nor listen to my concerns. Hopefully in the future this will not happen to someone else!!! This is why I do not trust shops that I do not know!!

I was headed out of town back to GA and needed my tire pressure checked before I left Pensacola. I walked in and the crew was so sweet and instantly got up and checked for me. Super clean shop! I will recommend they to family and friend in Pensacola! Thanks again guys!

I am a returning customer and once again they did not disappoint with their quick and professional service. Dropped my daughter’s car off Sunday night after hours and they had it diagnosed and fixed by the close of business on the next day. They even contacted my extended warranty for me. I will most definitely be returning to them in the future for all of my automotive needs!

Awesome local business with some of the most wonderful employees ever. could tell that they genuinely care about me and aren’t just trying to make a paycheck. So my daughter’s 2013 Dodge Avenger needed a alternator and battery. She’s in the Navy. The initial bill was close to $1000. They gave her a small discount which was almost wiped out with a processing fee. $400 for the alternator part alone. I can understand making a profit. But taking advantage of a desperate young lady is ridiculous. I can only imagine that they are doing this to all of their customers. James Silva

Was traveling and Check Engine light came on. Some friends suggested taking the car to East Hill Automotive to have them run the diagnostics on the car to determine the cause of the Check Engine light. I dropped the car off and after a few hours, Jay called to inform me the cause was the catalytic converter was going bad. In addition, East Hill found an issue with some hoses on my brake lines as well, which could have been a severe safety issue. I needed to drive back out of town to return home on Monday. They said they could do both repairs before the end of the day (on a Friday); and did just that!! Jay was professional and thorough in his description of the issues and what it would take to correct the issues. They showed me the worn brake hoses when I picked up the car as well.Loved the service!!! It was a pleasure to deal with Jay. Glad I took my car to East Hill.

Vehicle overheated. This firm That is on 12th Avenue was referred by AAA. They texted us their arrival time and showed up early. We waited in the office area but did not see our vehicle being worked on in the shop. Unbeknownst to us it was Not only being diagnosed But they also confirmed They could obtain the correct parts and complete the repair to get us back on the road today. Excellent service, above an beyond all expectations!!!!

The day after the hurricane I was driving to a home with power and my car STALLED on the interstate. It was shaking, not accelerating over 20mph, and the check engine light was consistently blinking while the ‘EPS’ light stayed on. I was scared to death. Nowhere was open! I was in AL and finally got ahold of Wilson’s where I was able to tow my car...they looked at my car and stated “oh ma’am we reset the CEL and it didn’t come back on after driving it so the mechanic stated it just got wet and it’s fine now.” They reassured me over and over that it was fine and they didn’t see any damage. 5 days later I’m driving home from work and my car has the exact same situation occur. I’m back in Pensacola so I pull over by the mall. My first thought is to take it to the closest place to my home because I figured I could walk to pick it up. The closest place was Pepboys on 9th Ave. I had it towed (again) to Pepboys were they initially advised it would $1,080 to fix because they found “multiple” issues after doing a full inspection. I questioned every detail, narrowing down that a broken dipstick and brake flush were things not pertinent, nor were they the reason I brought my car in to begin with... and a 3 step flush could be solved using Seafoam. Ultimately, they stated it would be $598 after removing all the ‘fluff’ they recommended. Mind you, I brought it in due to an emergency, not to be taken advantage of as a single woman with a broken down vehicle. On my way back from picking my daughter up from school the exact same shaking, not accelerating, check engine light blinking and EPS light coming on happened to me! I paid them to fix the problem, which they CLEARLY did not do! I learned that it is okay to question them so you understand! After explaining what happened to my boss, he advised not to take it back and to have another company look at it. I had my car towed to East Hill Automotive where the owner contacted me and asked me about the ENTIRE history of my experience with my car troubles from the past two weeks...AND HE DOCUMENTED IT! He CARED! He wanted to get my car fixed and not “upsell” me. Local businesses CARE. Big businesses want money. Adam, the owner, gave me Tim’s name to communicate with who is the Service Manager at the Brent location. Tim is the most respectful, calm, detailed and helpful mechanic/manager/man I have dealt with ever when it comes to my vehicle. He repeated everything back to me and asked probing question to ensure he understood my situation. LOCAL BUSINESSES understand the hardship of a hurricane, not to mention the hit COVID has taken to our community. Tim understood. Tim was eager to help me and also calm me down. He looked at my car and called me by lunch to explain that Pepboys (who never even test drove it after repairs) didn’t put one of my spark plugs on correctly and didn’t even connect one of them, either. Not to mention, the ignition coil is what needed replacing, which could have ultimately been done without needing my spark plugs and wires replaced at all! I was infuriated with this ‘big business’ who I expected to do their job, just rushed through carelessly (while eager to snatch every penny from me that they could get). I was also reminded of why I need to always support local businesses like East Hill Automotive and why I will ALWAYS use them, particularly the Brent location, because Tim was the best guy out there to find the problem and provide a solution. Now my car runs like butter and I feel safe that I won’t have another tow or concern while driving with my daughter anytime soon! I am so thankful for a business that cares about taking care of people and not emptying their bank accounts! If you don’t have a mechanic or don’t know who to trust, TRUST ME when I say to go here and ask for Tim! They are rockstars...and I am one relieved mom filled with gratitude! There customer service was great! I was expecting to have my care in the shop for 2 to 3 day. They called me 20 hours later on a Saturday to tell me my car was fixed and ready be picked up. WOW!I have a new shop. Thanks guys for great work.Robbie Mott

Kept my truck over night for an oil change.over 36 hours

A+++ I cannot thank/recommend these guys enough! My partner and I drove over to Pensacola for a much-needed long holiday weekend of relaxation at the beach. Car broke down in downtown Pensacola at 2pm on Friday before Easter right when we got there. I looked up this shop on yelp and headed over with a tow. The shop was busy, but because we were waiting and stranded, they prioritized our car and spent hours trying to diagnose and fix it before closing time. As it turned out, it didnt get repaired before closing, but Adam, the owner, gave us the shop car as a loaner (a fun convertible for the beach!). Our car was totally fixed up for the ride home to New Orleans the next day, and our weekend was totally saved.The quality of service, personal attention, very fair price for the repair, and flat out generosity with the use of the loaner car added up to a very good experience! Would not hesitate to recommend this shop to my grandmother (whom I love very much) for car repair and service. My partner and I are even thinking about bringing our cars over from New Orleans for their regular maintenance! Thats just how incredible they are. You wont be disappointed.Pro tip: call ahead for service appointment on Saturdays.

Outstanding service in the middle of a crisis. ! I live on the west coast and my daughter went to college in the southeast. After graduation and a week before I was supposed to fly in and help drive her back west in her van, she went on a scuba diving trip to Pensacola. While there she was in an accident which damaged the front end of the vehicle. She called AAA to get towed and luckily East Hill was towing contractor. In addition to towing the car, they were able to repair it (new radiator, fans, and bumping out the front end) within 24 hours. She left the next day on a 200 mile road trip with no issues. Then, a week later we drove it 2500+ miles across the country, fully loaded and pulling a U-Haul trailer. The car performed perfectly all the way back. Adam and the East Hill did excellent work on the cooling system, and took very good care of my daughter. As a concerned father living thousands of miles away they provided me with a tremendous peace of mind both when they were doing the work on the van and with the way it held up on the arduous journey across the country during the summers worst heatwave, crossing over the mountains in Colorado and driving through the Nevada desert (116 degree day). I have nothing other than the highest recommendation and respect for East Hill Automotive!

Adam and his crew always take good care of my truck. They have a quick turn around time and their rates are better than the majority of automotive shops. They do everything from body work to oil changes. The staff is very knowledgeable easy to work with.

Ive brought both of my cars here for over two years now. The staff are friendly and professional, and they always do exceptional work. Most importantly, they know that its more profitable to build your trust and have a loyal customer than it is to gouge. Ive routinely had them help prioritize which work is needed now, and which work can wait until later to spread out the expenses, and I recently had one bill come in significantly below the price they originally quoted me. They have my loyalty!
