Habitat is on our weekly treasure hunt. Two months ago we bought a thousand dollar Bosch 40 SONE dishwasher for $40.00. Works perfectly, yet sometimes I do miss the swish swish sound of the waves at bedtime. My old dishwasher so reminded me of the islands. Slept like a baby. Now I hear every creaky groan of the house when the Santa Anna winds come a howling.Saturday we found an 1893 Henry F Miller piano for sale at $4,000.00! Four years ago, that piano sold at a local Scottsdale antique store for over $22,000.00. The movers marred up the right rear corner. Something any good cabinet maker can repair for a few Benjamins. Im sure the first Grand will take it home. This is an heirloom piece. One of a kind addition to any livingroom.You never know what youre going to find. You always know it when you see it. Happy hunting!

You can pick up a good bargain now and then, but some of their appliances can be purchased brand new at a lower price elsewhere.

This is a donation related review. They are pretty picky about what theyll take. I get not wanting to have random single boxes of flooring around, but not wanting 160 sq. Ft. Because it isnt the minimum 200, or not wanting a sink because it isnt a trendy style makes it not worth the time to drive things out there. If there were a way to send pictures and see if they will take it ahead of time but otherwise it isnt worth it to not just drag cabinets and fixtures out to the curb.

Lots of reclaimed materials, but you have to be open-minded when youre looking.

Excellent place to go if your looking for random building materials...mostly do-it-yourself type stuff. The pricing is odd, some items underpriced and others extremely overpriced but there are deals to be had for sure. Worth a look.

Great Prices, Great Selection, Great Staff

The manager has tested positive for COVID-19. There has been ZERO precautions taken for our safety. The lack of leadership is not surprise considering EVERY TIME I show up to talk to the manager, he is NEVER there! This location went down the tubes about 9 months ago now. Theres a cashier who apparently doesnt know about and isnt advised on personal hygiene. My 10 year old could run this store better. If youve been to this location in the last 2 weeks you need to be tested. Verified by inside source

This is always a fun store to visit. Peaceful atmosphere, nice staff and great for finding gadgets.

The prices have gone way up! And its seems to have grown in its products seems to be more organized than before but I thought that this store was supposed to help the community with their humanity developing donations from community to better their habitats more reasonably than larger similar chain stores.

You need to check this place out when you are doing home improvement. The might not have what you need because much of it comes from places that have been remodeled. Why should you go there? Its a great place that very clean and organized. Some of the stuff is a little overpriced, but the staff was very nice. Found some couches and light fixtures that were in great condition. Was told inventory is always changing. Definitively coming back

Good place to drop off things that are still good but you cant use but maybe someone else can just dont bring them junk like your doing a good thing to help the environment .

They were very busy today. Busy is good in this case, meaning inventory was was just as full as the store. Prices seemed a bit higher than usual but when purchasing multiple items, the friendly staff manages your budget accordingly. So come through the doors prepared to spend money and youll likely be surprised. Remember the cause of its establishment in place for our communitys before being judgmental! Great place to save a dollar!!!

Everything is neat, clean & well organized. I bought a nice clean oversized chair for only $20! They have a lot of them. They even have matching love seat sleepers for $30.

Some great deals in between the meh deals. The store itself could be bigger. The selection of hardware and fixtures was meager to non existence but you could find deals on very nice rugs and flooring solutions.

Disappointed when we donated. Normally donate to Goodwill but thought we would try Habitat for Humanity for the first time. We had two nice computer desks. Were told to drive around back. Stood in the hot sun for a long time ringing the bell but no one opened the door. Finally another patron walked around to get some attention. The guys who helped unload were not welcoming or friendly. No thank you for your donation and acted like we were intruding. That was our first and last time. The organization is very worthwhile but this place needs supervision and training. Too bad.

95% of the staff are friendly and helpful, the prices are mostly too high and good deals are few, the new stuff is more expensive than home depot prices so if you want a half decent deal you have to look at the old used stuff and it is clearly used meaning it was installed and used then removed and it shows.

One of my favs to shop at. Get some great deals and help out the folks that need a helping hand.
