Had an absolutely amazing experience here trading in a switch lite for a switch. The employee that helped us was incredibly nice and super helpful. She went above and beyond while helping us make decisions on the trade in, and was friendlier than most would expect.

I give it a one because as a business how do you allow your shop to not have a product if you can get it online you should have it in the store.

Stood in line for well over an hour to preorder a playstation 5. 30 minutes prior to opening, one of the employees notified the 45 of us in line that not only did they only have 12 preorders available, but that all those playstation 5s we the digital editions, with none capable of playing disks at all. In my opinion this was irresponsible and disrespectful of Gamestop for those of us who took today off to preorder, but was also a very unethical practice designed to draw potential customers to the store. I will never return to this location again, and I will probably take my business to another company entirely should I see this type of practice continue at Gamestop. Many of the individuals I spoke with in line this morning agree entirely.Gamestop, you have made it clear that you dont really care about your customers, so you will continue to lose these customers until you make significant changes to your business practices. I wish you and your employees the best of luck, and I hopefully await a heartfelt reply indicative of responsible adaptation to customers wants and needs. Until then, Target and Amazon, here I come.

Im a grandpa. My only experience playing a video game was Pong in the late 1960s. That game was basically involved playing ping-pong on a black and white screen with a little white ball bouncing back and forth... Not exactly riveting by todays standards.A couple months ago, I decided to buy my grand-kids a game system and some games. I went to the Lake Pleasant Gamestop and the manager there, Jen, answered all my (dumb) questions and found me some games the kids ended up loving. Thank you Jen!.

The worst customer service I ever had. There was a very snippy and rude lady working there. Idk if she has problems at home or going through a recent divorce but I was completely normal asking simple questions. Her tone and attitude was very clear. If she is still working there just ask for another employee or do not go there at all. The gamestop in bell rd is way better and worth the drive. This one will never get business again.

What can I say about GameStop that the Internet and mankind as a whole hasnt already said? The employees are great, they dont know any better and only do what theyre told by their great employer. I traded in $5000 worth of games, consoles and accessories and received $72.18 in trade in credit.

Staff was friendly and cordial right when I walked in the door. Theyre gaming knowledge was up to speed and found what I came for right away.

False advertising. What a waste of time. No one asked if I needed help. After finding the items (Funko Pops) I wanted (Listed 3 for $24) I was told one of them was $15 and they would not honor the deal. I understand people do shadey things to get a discount. Place was not busy at all. It was the last item of its kind in the store. It is not like it got misplaced from another area considering all of the Pops are located on the same wall. Wont be back. Telling all friends and fellow Pop collectors. Cant wait for them to shut down.

The lady behind the counter and another lady (might have been a friend) helped with a lot of game related questions. They both informed me of good games to get my kids for the Xbox that werent rated for too mature of audiences. They had some good deals on traded games and even a few microphones. The stores are always cramped, but usually easy to find things.

Took my son here to spend his birthday gift cards and the staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about everything in this space from a dad who does not know much about the game world! They helped me and my son get what we needed, answered any and all questions.

Its average for game stop locations. Well run. The people can help you find things and direct you to other locations if need be. They dont always have everything from my experience.

Well, every GameStop is pretty much the same, games, games, and more games. However, this place is made special by the help and customer service they hire. When I went, I had Robert help me and he was cool as can be. Also, he helped me find games I had been looking for and couldnt find prior. Great job !

This Gamestop seems to always stand out against the other 3 within 5 miles. Their staff is friendly and socialable. They are passionate about their work, and it shows in their interactions with customers. They have helped me save $1000s of dollars over the last 12 months, and even though Im a pain in the butt showing up at the last minute, on release nights, they still make me feel welcome and show a willingness to assist. I wish I could do all my shopping at this store.

They tried to get a fingerprint from me just to trade in a game. Do not recommend GS for trading in any games. They will soon go bankrupt and close all their store and can no longer take advantage of people. You will see!!

Closing the shop and putting a “Back in five minutes” sign up but being gone for way longer, is not acceptable. It’s 6:30pm. The busiest time when people are getting off work. Pack a lunch if you need to. This is unacceptable.

This is the only Gamestop I want to visit. The staff here is amazing, very helpful, very friendly, and have helped save me so much money. If only I could do all my shopping here!!

Bruh, Why are all the xbox wireless controllers gone for?

First experience was great. While dealing with the staff member, who was very helpful and polite, I was also told they had an item I had been casually looking for on trade hold, and it would be available in a few days. I was told at the time I couldnt reserve it.I arrived on the day it was to be released 25 minutes after opening. After waiting on line the manager tells me that it is already on hold. Someone had already called in and asked to hold it. I was skeptical, so I questioned her a bit about it. She then told me that anyone can call in on the day of, and she would hold something, even if the store wasnt open yet. In other words, this could have even been reserved before the store was open. I was unable to get any further details about it.I suspect I didnt have a chance at all to get this unit. When I asked her about it, she didnt see how this was a questionable practice. Smells fishy to me, and makes me wonder what other practices that may or may not line up with GameStops at this location.GameStop should audit this manager, as well as the policies she follows.

Weve had a really good experience EVERY time we go here. They know a lot not just about games but about lots of other nerd stuff, theyre always really helpful (even with confused parents) and they go beyond when they need to - one of their staff once drove to a different Gamestop to pick up a set of headphones for my sister. I heartily recommend this Gamestop to anyone needing to go to one.

Best place in town is the Game stop on lake pleasant pkwy and deer valley road . The manager Jeremy is a absolute base if knowledge and gives the best advice and loves to pass his passion for being a real gammer at heart o to his customers....

My long standing hatred and loathing of Game Stop is legendary. This one was actually fairly decent.

Very knowlegable staff, not douchey elitists like most game shops. You can tell they have a true passion for the job they perform. The line can be a bit slow moving, but for good reason, they explain the product and the capabilities well, its worth the wait.

They could have been better on the prices but other than that we were trated good and worked with us

Always a friendly staff. Not usually busy when Ive been there. We were there to sell some of my sons old games and the employee was nice enough to mention that the next day they were starting a program where he would gain an extra $10 on his trade ins. They didnt need to do that. We wouldnt have known. So we came back the next day.

Customer service here doesnt exsist. My card wouldnt work, she says that my chip is a little clouded and it wont work. I go get my wifes card and this didnt work either. She looks and says sorry your going too have to go to the atm. What really made me feel weird was when my card wasnt reading she put the game back behind the counter like i was going too run off with it or something. So i recommend going too walmart to get your new games for the same price as used games at this location ..the arrowhead gamestop is waaaaaaay friendly and had acutal people experience.

Did a xbox 360 250gb trade in today @ 11:21am with Nicole, never got credit for the 2nd controller I traded in with the console and games. Also was charged $15 for console refurbish fee. Guess Im sticking with Amazon from now on, thanks for the rip off. Your loss.. literally.

Customer service was ok. Games are more expensive than they should be. Check prices first. Sometimes new prices are cheaper than used. Walmart can be cheaper. OfferUp even cheaper for used games. Even Craigslist can work out well. I would go back if needed or for a game that I cannot find elsewhere.

Over priced and cashier was rude. I asked a simple question just because Im a girl doesnt mean I dont know anything. Treating me as part of the scum on a shoe isnt okay.

We live in Surprise and usually drive out to the Gamestop on Northern but thought we would give this one a try because it was a little closer, we wont be going back. I felt rushed through our trade in process and when I asked a question about something on my receipt I just got an I dont know. The girl behind the counter wasnt anywhere near as friendly and knowledgeable as the employees at Northern.
