It was lunch time, so I stopped here at Burger King. Nice staff and cool inside of the place, but going into the main shop area it got better. Lots of items to look at and to buy. Very clean all over and the staff were making sure that it stayed that way. The hot food section was busy as it was still the lunch hour. Many thanks for this place to be open here.

Used to be, go to place 4 to 6 times a week.Not anymore. Were most reasonable priced but their last 2 increases have been .16 each time. Making them just like every other greedy place. So l am better stopping some where Convenient

We stop here pretty frequently. Today, upon leaving noticed the American flags would touch the ground when the wind layed. I called inside and very shortly employees came out. They were perlexed and didnt want to get into trouble for taking the flags off the poles. Employee, Logan began removing them from the poles. Then awesome manager Tom shows up and was very nice and helpful. We got the flags down and folded. Tom said he was replacing them with new flags and would make sure everything would be right with them. Thanks to all for making sure our American flags are treated with the respect they deserve! Way to go Sapps!

MY WIFE LOVES THIS PLACE. She says that the womens restroom is the best she has ever stopped at for a truck stop. The womens toilet has bidets and she loves stopping at this place because the bathroom is like stopping at a spa. Its a welcome​ break during long road trips to see family.

I have been using Sapp Bros. shop since the mid 90s. Great service and excellent prices. Second to none when it comes to front end work, general maintenance and parts prices. Lowest labor rate in the region. Highly recommend for any truck owner.Truck stop is always clean and awesome showers. Staff is the most professional and courteous in the industry. You wont be disappointed.

My least favorite stop for one reason, whats with the tiny window washers? Pilot flying j has giant ones I can clean the windows on my Kenworth no problem. I skip this as a fuel stop all the time for that one reason. Are you listening Sapp Bros?

I stopped for some coffee and a quick breakfast to go. It was about 7:30 AM. The coffee was fresh and good. The gal tending the coffee station was courteous, friendly, and attentive. The gal tending the register and the hot food case was very friendly. An older gal, I think her name was Debbie. I had a slice of pizza and a sausage and egg biscuit sandwich. Both were hot and tasty. I highly recommend this place for your morning pit stop. I will be back next time I am in the area.

Absolutely the best place to change your oil. Series 60 Detroit diesel price is $254 free oil sample and meal. Oil lube includes all boxes checked, and Chassis lube. Check and advise on any other found issues. The adjust brakes here also $5 a piece I think. Tire prices are very good. And used tire prices cant be beat. Very knowlegable staff. I wish there were more Sapp Brothers truck stops.

They have good prices at the shop, pay $112 for brake chamber on trailer, that is not bad at all, 24h service, lots of parking for overnight

This is No good services. Just for advise charged me $120. And did’t touch my truck for repair. Just told me that I have air leak (the brake valve) and if I’ll be waiting 4hour to order this item, can be fixed.Now I stay in Volvo dealer and get repair already.If you want to safe money Avoid this Truck-Services.

One of the better Truck Stops in the area. The grounds and facilities are clean. Service is friendly and helpful. The shop is considered by some the best in Illinois.The drivers lounge, rest rooms and showers are clean. I had little fear of taking anything home.

I was in this store at 7:00 P.M. on 11/4/17. The service was very horrendous. My family went in to use the restroom and I got the vibe I was being watched the whole time. Then, my father prepaid for gas and went to pump and the pump was never turned on. So, my mother pushed the help button on the pump and an employee said she had to turn on the pump. My mother then went in to get the remaining cash that was not use and was told no one ever paid. We were accused of gas run off if you will. My theory on this is that the employee was most liking pocketing money. Very unhappy with this store. Never going there as long as I live.

Bob and Keyla? went above and beyond to help me find a charger for my cell. Great job guys. The showers were clean, good food, ample parking, and good customer service is what makes Sapp Bros Peru 5 stars.

05/05/2020 We are truck drivers. went here to take a shower and the lady at the fuel desk rudely said we had to have face masks on to be in the store. We didnt catch the sign on the door on our way in. If they want you to wear a mask they ought to provide it for those that do not live in Illinois and dont know that its manatorian th o have one on in Illinois. Not everyone has a face mask.

Typically the cheapest gas on I-80 in Illinois. Though I dont live nearby, I stop here about a dozen times a year. Aside from the best gas prices, the restrooms are always clean. The shop is filled with expensive and ridiculous knick-knacks. They used to have a sand art portrait priced at $1500! Otherwise, they have pretty regular convenient mart prices, high prices. Still, its fun to go look at the sand art and velvet paintings ;-)

Clean, friendly, and efficient. The washing machines worked well and made my day. The restrooms are above even my standards. I love Sapp Brothers for their consistency and their unique store. I just wish their locations came further east than this.

Hot water was non existent in our first shower... Then in the replacement shower they gave my wife and I hot water lasted long enough for her to shower... By the time I got done shaving the water has run out again...I paid for a service, bought food, and wouldve fueled but theyll get no more money from us

Some of the cleanest bathrooms with friendly staff. They offer Burger King and Subway on premises. They also have a shop for semi’s.

Shop here took 6 hours to fix truck air conditioner, did not keep me updated on progress at all, were in and out of vehicle without putting plastic down like I had asked them to do & drove truck without my permission out of their shop.Dealt with rude service writer Kyle in shop who refused responsibility for all of these things, told me thats what we do when confronted about moving my truck without my permission, then couldnt produce my signature when told in a begrudgingly manner thats what I agreed to when I sign the work order. He then proceeded to blame the long service time on the previous shift. Poorly run shop in my opinion.

Had trouble with my Sierra 2500 fuel filter. Service department at Peru, illimois went out of their way to assist me. Normally Sapp works on big rigs,but on a Sunday afternoon they got me on the road again in three 3 hours. Thanks Sapp Brothers! Update: Was able to continue our vacation trip to Niagara Falls and had no more issues pulling our 34 ft trailer. Thanks again Sapp Brothers!

Easy off and back on the interstate. The restrooms are always very clean compared to the typical gas station. The coffee is great and the convinience store has good selections.

I found offensive graffiti in one of the bathroom stalls (it said white power). I informed the management and they said they would clean it up. They seemed equally as concerned as i was about it. I believe they did clean it off the wall but didnt stick around to see.

Very nice store. Gas prices cheapest weve seen in a long time....today was $1.98 per gallon! Plus...the ladies rooms have bidets with heated seats!!!

We have been buying fuel at Sapp Brother in this location your years and have had a great deal of service work done. As a result of their behavior last Sunday, we will no longer do business there. One of my trucks was having a problem and need to be plugged into a computer to diagnose the problem. Since Sapp Brothers couldnt do the necessary job as they cannot plug into it, we called a service truck that they promptly said could not touch the truck on their property. Its a shame that they would make such a foolish decision.

Call them, ask about price for changing tire at the FJ ~4 miles away. $110 an hour plus some pennies per mile. Said OK. Work done, 45 minutes, more than $200. What the hell. They lie and laugh at your face. Go with other shops around or bring some small business from further away. Same money, at least they will have real mechanics.EDIT: Talked to that girl Lisa. She explained that it was 1hr and 45 minutes because the freaking driver/mudflop installer took 30 minutes to get to my driver and 30 minutes to come back 4 miles to their shop.

I live nearby and usually catch the greyhound here, found out its now stopping at the shell on trompeter rd across from Walmart.

Sapp Brothers is our go to place for cheap gas and great fudge when we travel west to the Quad Cities. The staff is friendly and helpful, the drink selection is amazing and the shopping is fun, truck stop style.

The girl they have working tonight was rude.. the coffee machine were dispensing cold coffee when I let her know that she was like yeah I know. I asked if she was going to put a sign stating that she said umm I just got here. highly doubtful she will. Im taking it she works nights she has black hair. If you dont like your job quit.

Its with great disappoint that Im having to write a `Below Expectations` review on another company with incompetent employees.Such a shame that employees like Diana cost the company thousands of dollars in ` Non Productive Time` in consideration of their own welfare.In brief explaination:I overnighted at the Sapp Brothers Truck stop with the effort of obtaining an oil change in the early morning hours, with the intention of beating the busy daytime hassles.Around 04:30, I called the service center to get my truck serviced as there `were not` any trucks in the service bays, as I had a direct view from the pump area.Diana in service, answered the phone and I informed her that I would like to havce my truck serviced.She informed me that she `Did Not` have an oil bay available, which appeared quite unusual seeing how there were no trucks in the stalls.Its only an assumption on my behalf, but if I were a betting man, Id say that they didnt want to do the work due to an upcoming ` shift change` or pure laziness on their behalf.Presumably the General Manager or Corporate will find the answer.

Good price for truck oil change, free lunch, oil analysys included.. Ill give 5 stars after 10000 miles, just to see if everything was good

I dont care if gas was .50/gallon I will not go back there. Just getting in and out of this place is the biggest joke. You try to pull up to a pump where 95% of them are prepay. People park to go into Burger King or use the bathroom and youre trying to pull into a pump forget it. Once you get to a pump try now to get out.... the entire parking pump situation is in no way worth the aggravation of trying to get in and out of this place. Even worse its all but 2 pumps prepay and people that dont pay at the pump go in and the cashiers are so slow that you would think a person went in for dinner. If youre that desperate to save 3 cents stop here otherwise move on to a gas station thats set up where cars arent jammed in there.

OMG Carribou coffee shop is awesome! Amber (who is an absolute sweetheart) made the most delicious turtle mocha for my husband and I tried the oolong pomegranate iced tea, which I loved. Great place, friendly people. We went in tired and grumpy and left smiling and sipping our drinks. :-)
