I have been dealing with Schimmer for more than 30 years, and can honestly say that I have no complaints with my service. A few times I have had to pop in unexpectedly with a minor issue like low tire pressure, and the staff in the service department has been nothing but courteous, helpful, and efficient in solving my issues. Most recently, I asked for my new vehicle to be checked over before leaving on a cross country trip. It was completed quickly and efficiently so that I felt confident there would be no issues with my vehicle on my trip.
I had an excellent experience with Garrett Peterson. We are almost 2 hrs away. When I came the vehicle I was looking at hadn’t been through the shop yet so it had some cosmetic issues still. Garrett worked with me on the price and got everything fixed that needed fixed. He gave my wife a loaner vehicle while the car was being taken care of and then sent a person to come to us (2 hours away) to exchange the loaner for her car. I fully intend to come back to this dealership even though it is a little bit of a drive! Work with Garrett he is Great!

I live in Morris and had a problem with a flashing check engine light. Schimmer took my car in immediately ( in spite of the fact that every other dealership wanted me to wait a couple of weeks, apparently due to the truckers strike). They found the code replaced and programmed the part and kept it for several hours and randomly test drove it to make sure the light did not come back on. I’d give them 100% satisfaction rating. Just bought a new Palisade from Schimmer. Great experience. When we arrived, all paperwork was ready to go. The process literally took about 20 minutes. The Finance Manager was not pushy at all when we declined their extra services. Randy did an excellent job going over and explaining all features of the car. At first we bought a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fa. we were not happy with it because of its size. We traded for a 2022 Hyundai Tuscan . they searched all over to find us exactly what we wanted and when they could not get one they ordered a new one from the factory. The wait was worth it. We Love our new car. except for the Navigation system. Not user friendly and must have an Eye Phone. what about people who dont have one?

I hate shopping for cars. Please lets not play the game. Lets talk safety, facts, numbers. I know what I want, I bring those I trust with me to share their opinions, but the decision is mine. Im not your typical car shopper, I dont drool over wheels and bells and whistles. Please tell me where the key goes and help me locate the fuel tank. Pat and I got along swimmingly, it actually was a pleasure, he made it as painless for me as possible. Great guy, respected my opinions. Highly recommend!!

Schimmer Hyundai surprised me and completely made my day! I have a very hectic work schedule and typically have to schedule appointments and services on my few days off. Their pick up and drop off service made it possible for me to get my vehicle a much needed detail while I worked. A technician met me at work, drove my car to the dealership then returned it after the service. Not to mention my car looked spotless and brand new. And now, thanks to their service team, I’m able to actually enjoy my much needed day off. I have and will continue to recommend them highly!
The people are very friendly, take their time to explain, and the wait times have definitely improved over the last couple of years.The reason i didnt leave 5 is I just had my oil changed again Friday and for the 2nd oil change now the tech has not reset the service needed icon so it is saying 5k miles past service due every time I start the car. Just real annoying assuming they did the oil change and just forgot again to reset it and are not actually doing the oil change.

I want to thank Mr. Jeremy Morales for his hard work when my fathers car was broken a few days ago. His drivers side underneath oil panel was not screwed on properly from the last Hyundai dealership in Buffalo, NY. But when my father came to get help last minute Mr. Morales was able to get my fathers car in and fast as possible and fixed quickly. This dealership is a must recommended for any customer to come and get there car serviced or fixed. The customer treatment was very professional and thoughtful throughout the whole process. The mechanic was very friendly and honest about the work he had done on my fathers car. Customer Service Ratings: (1-5)Online listing....4, inaccurate written description, numerous unlisted aftermarket parts, expected.Point of sale service....5, service by all was excellent, everything went through very smoothly.Post-sale service....0, apparently service stops when you leave a lot. I drove over two hours each way to trade in a F&C 2018 35k mile vehicle for a 2019 13k miles vehicle, paid cash for the difference. I inadvertently left a couple of small personal items in the vehicle that I traded in. I called my salesman Ryan upon returning home to have the items located and shipped back to me. After numerous days & calls, one item was shipped and Ryan told me the other item had been discarded. This would not have been an issue except that the other item is clearly pictured within their listing of the vehicle I traded in. considering the importance of post-sale service in keeping great relationships in these challenging times, I expected much more of my salesperson at the Schimmer Lincoln Mercury/Hyundai Dealership. needless to say, Ill have trouble considering them when my wife replaces her vehicle later this summer...
Schimmer always helps us figure out what is wrong at a discounted price. They are helpful with letting us know when the next tires need replaced. They always fill up our fluids and do an inspection with every oil change.

My check engine light came on 30 miles south of Peru. We stopped at Schimmer and within 2 hours they reset the electronics and we were in our way. The techs worked on the vehicle right to closing and we were able to finish our trip.
Ill start out with nothing less than Five stars for the staff of the service department. I have been taking my Genesis for service going on four years, which means excellent service to me. On my most recent visit I was having intermittent issues with my back up camera. Phil was very attentive with what I was explaining to him. The other issue was the warranty, which had just expired, I had purchased the extended warranty when I got my new Genesis. So Phil had handle the process, he assured me that he would handle everything..and a big high five to Phil. Its my testament to the Dealership and professional staff and well trained mechanic, when you walk in for service for your vehicle you can be rest assured that they will handle your issues with integrity!!!

Schimmer has always been my go to dealership when purchasing a car. The sales staff is always great and easy to work with. I have had trouble in the past with the Service department but it seems to have improved greatly!
