Cheesecake has weird taste. Perhaps stale, too sweet. I rate it a 2 at the most. Maybe the rest is better. Second try, sane result

I love this bakery, have never had a bad experience with them. They have a good selection of sweet and savory delights. From cakes, macaroons, sandwiches to an array of gelatos of delicious flavours, they have it all. My go to from this place is the Entremet Strip and Strawberry shortcake. My favorite cakes are Chocolate Forest and Strawberry Shortcake. Its a must try. They have indoor seating arrangements as well and the staff is always very helpful and super friendly.

Classic cake made my daughter the very best birthday cake I could have asked for.I don’t live in Philadelphia and so I had to trust the reviews of others before placing my order. They made it super easy to place my order over the phone and it came out delicious and beautiful.Thanks again to Kristina for all your help!

We used Classic Cake bakery for our wedding cake and reception favors. They were fantastic! The cake was gorgeous as well as delicious, and the chocolate-covered pretzel favors were a hit with our guests. Kristina, Cheyenne, and the entire Classic Cake crew were knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and really excited to help us plan our special day. They also delivered the cake and favors to the venue, which was one less thing for us to worry about. We would recommend them to others, and use them again for other special events.

This place is bright and airy. Its a really pretty place. They also have a good variety of quality, fresh foods. Ive eaten here for breakfast and for lunch. Both times the food was tasty. Ive also tried their pastries and they taste homemade! Its important to note that they provide free coffee refills, even if you get iced coffee! That is a huge bonus, especially you youre hanging out for a few hours. They also have a nice big section in the hall with tables and chairs (in addition to the tables and chairs inside the place).

Went for the first time last week and was very impressed! I got a chocolate cupcake and strawberry shortcake. Both were super delicious. It’s hard finding good bakeries in the city that make decent cupcakes. I’ve sampled just about every cupcake in this city. Classic Cake has the perfect cupcake in my opinion. Moist and not rock hard. And icing is perfect. Sweet but not too sweet. I highly recommend trying this place.

But menu-wise, limited)Long review:Its nice to see a pastry shop more European styled. As a Portuguese descendant, we are very serious about our pastry shops. Yes, I do wish they had more of the pastries I am used to and not mostly cakes, croissants and bagels (at least in the pastry section), but the quality is definitely there. French croissants are very good and fresh. They are very accommodating, and although make a customized order might be difficult, they do try their best to accommodate you. Then there is the fact that they are very diverse have something for everyone - pastries, salads, etc (and CHOCOLATES). Their coffee is also really good. It is hard to find good espresso in the city, but I approve of theirs.

We went to a few places to taste cakes for our wedding, but we were instantly sold on Classic Cake. Kristina was very helpful and professional. They were very accommodating when it came to guest food allergies and allowed us to try a variety of desserts for these guests. Once we decided on flavors and design and paid for our cake there was nothing for us to worry about. Everything was delivered on time, and everything was exactly as we envisioned. I would recommend this place to everyone. All of our guests raved about the beauty, and taste of our cake. I can’t wait to order another cake!!

The coffee was alright and the cakes were pretty but I could barely finish a slice. The cake was stale, and tasted sickly sweet. Grab a coffee and enjoy the scenery bit eat at your own risk. Having the employees ask me what the cake is like explains why theyd sell such bad cake - no one checks it tastes good!

This Bakery & Café is nothing less than perfect. I do not even know where to start with all the amazing food and sweets. Everything looks amazing, it is very clean and the customer service is very impressive. Everyone who works there greeted me and took the time to talk to me. I honestly would not change a thing.

Convenient place to buy cupcakes in suburban station. Our cupcakes were moist and flavorful, will be back. They also serve lunch (soups, salads, sandwiches) but we didnt try it.

I have to say the food is so good but the customer service is horrible. I’ve ordered from here many times for breakfast, lunch and desert. Every time I order breakfast my order is always WRONG!!!! The sad part is when I make the order on the receipt it’s correct. So I don’t know where the wires get crossed at but I’m spending too much money to have them mess it up every time. Unfortunately I won’t be going there anymore and I truly loved the food because it’s delicious I just refused to pay for something I didn’t order.

This place has the best fresh breakfast in town! The salads for lunch are also fresh and everything i have gotten is huge! Barely able to eat it all in one sitting.

First, you HAVE to know that their buttercream frosting is scrumptious. The cakes are beautifully and imaginatively wrought (allow extra time, if youre ordering one of their more complex creations) and absolutely delicious! There is also a trattoria that can provide a quick and yummy bite. There are fresh, pre-packaged entrees that can be grabbed on the run as well as a friendly, helpful staff able to make up salads and such to your specifications. The space is clean and attractive and well worth checking out.
