Great place to get a delicious breakfast sandwich for $6. They have Covid safe outdoor dining. And the coffee is excellent, just the right amount of ice!

They make Macchiatos traditionally, which I very much love. Service was wonderful, and the area is very nice.

Maybe service will improve after COVID. Several aspects of our order were wrong and they appeared to be understaffed.

By far my favorite almond milk match place in the city. Perfect every time. Sweet spot on south street. The exposed brick, natural light, and great staff makes it a great place to linger.

Was very delicious including waiter micah . He gave us a lot of straws and I ordered coke ! Btw I got the coke from micah .

This a great neighborhood coffee shop. Expect it to be relatively busy later in the morning on the weekends. They have some vegan breakfast options, but I go there for the atmosphere and the big velvety couch in the back corner next to the window, which is lined with beautiful plants. Its the perfect place to curl up with your drink and a book, or use the coffee table to spread out a bit more. I do see people wheeling strollers in to make their orders but theres not really a good place to put your strollers if you want to sit down. They do have a couple of outdoor, sidewalk tables for the warmer weather. Overall, I love this place and if youre just stopping through, or need a place to sit and rest for a minute, do it here.

I love this coffee shop. Its in a great area of Philly and the staff is friendly and always in good spirits. I like the charitable vibe here as well. Patrons buy coffee for others that cant afford to buy their own. Thats awesome!

Customer service over the past month has been lackluster at best. The worker I have had every time I come in near five is cold and literally says three to five words to me when taking my order and walks away silently after. Im not expecting a royal ceremony when I walk in, but basic customer service is kind of necessary to make the guest feel at least a little welcome.The coffee is ok as well. Nothing special but not bad.

Entered near eleven, it wasnt packed. Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, Ill be back. Prices that wont break you. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

This place is amazing! Great food, great coffee, great atmosphere, and all at a modest price. It feels very laid back in a good way. You can go with friends or just by yourself and get some homework done. The service was great and very friendly. I cant say enough about this cool little cafe!

Good coffee and a quaint atmosphere in a very walkable neighborhood. Small but nice menu and the prices are more reasonable than expected from a boutique coffee shop. They offer a few sandwiches and panini as well as pastries in addition to their nice choices of coffee.Inside the shop are a few tables for sitting and eating and some antique but comfortable couches for sitting and enjoying your coffee. Its tight but not cramped and the staff is friendly.The neighborhood is filled with little cafes and shops and the sidewalks are always full of people coming and going from any number of activities. Dont expect to find street parking as this is a highly residential area. Be aware that the streets here have different rules for folks with resident parking stickers so pay attention if you are lucky enough to find a spot. If you are within walking distance, the surrounding area is a pleasant walk and well worth the trip.Four stars for good coffee, good food but just not the amazing experience that force stars should be reserved for.

I think Ill have to go again to get a better feel for it. The lavender lemonade I got tasted absent of lavender, but their iced coffee is pretty good. The hummus bagel I got was okay, but the cucumbers that came with it were half frozen and to be honest the serving seemed a little skimpy and the plate was sloppily put together. Always filled with people on laptops. Overall a decent place to grab a bite, but nothing fancy or extraordinary.

Wifi, couches, and really food food! I was surprised by how delicious the food was, since its a cafe and often food is an afterthought. I had a beef kabob sandwich with Israeli salad with pickles and olives. In the morning I had an awesome pesto egg sandwich with provolone on whole wheat bagel with mint iced tea. The people who work here are awesome, and super fun and engaging. Highly recommended.

Must purchase to use wifi and even when you do its only for 2 hours then you get thrown off. Pretty lame 👎Its pretty slow and disconnects often. Even after buying food and trying to use new code for wifi it didnt work. Oh well not a friendly place to work.In the plus side, la Colombe coffee is always welcome and bacon, egg and cheese on croissant was pretty good.

Everyone who works here is very kind and friendly. The food is delicious and one of a kind. Definitely stop in here to do some work or for a cute & casual date.

Great spot! I love the atmosphere and the coffee here. My only complaint is that they close the kitchen way early. Even some of the baristas have commented on their weird hours. Otherwise, I really like coming here!

Love la.va! We live 2 blocks from it and always go. They are always very friendly, the place is very cozy and good to get work done. You can find some couches, and tables for 2 and 4. Usually its quiet and they play nice music.

Ill return friends next time. feeling here is similar to a place in columbus i liked.

My girlfriend lives very close to here and I walked in thinking I could grab a quick breakfast. I walked out of here before I even purchased anything. The prices are ridiculous! The counter server tried telling me that it was 7 dollars for a breakfast sandwich, and they dont even offer pork bacon! I even wanted to take off an ingredient and they wouldnt take any charge off... for that price you would at least expect a complimentary coffee or something. I decided to go across the street to Honeys and got 2 eggs on biscuits with gravy, PORK bacon, and breakfast potatoes all for $7.50, much more reasonable. Im the manager at a restaurant that serves all organic and locally grown, and we are cheaper than this place! I you want to feel classy by paying double the price for a breakfast sandwich, have at it. Im sure its good seeing as how its quite hard to mess up eggs and bacon...I cant comment on the coffee because I wont buy anything there out of principle.

If only they would replace the fridge that makes a high pitched squeal. I love coming here to work or grab coffee and run but the sound is painful.

Cozy cafe, but food is average and very limited decaf offerings for drinks.Atmosphere: Relatively dim - not my go-to spot for getting work done because it feels a bit cluttered, and also doubles as a place to have conversations, so it feels on the noisier side. Servers are friendly though!Food: Ive tried the shakshuka, and tasted just average - egg was cooked fully, so dont expect runny yolks, and the peppers themselves were okay; A bit on the spicier side.Drinks: This is a bit particular to me, but because I only drink decaf, I cant enjoy any of their espresso drinks because they dont offer them in decaf. Just as a heads up for any other decaf people out there.Overall: 3 / 5 - Id likely go elsewhere in Philly for food, and coffee - nothing especially attracts me to come back, but its an overall average cafe.

La Va is a sold spot, you can work all day and buy great treats! Free Wi-Fi and outlets available. I recommend the Moroccan Mint Tea.

This place has all of the great coffee and food that most Center City coffee shops have, but the atmosphere and space is what makes it way better than the rest.
