Its that time of year! Restaurant week! What better place to go than Barbuzzos? For restaurant week, they are offering a 3 course meal and an antipasta. The antipasta has mediterranean olives, marinated gigande beans, roasted peppers, and beet tehina. The freshness of the antipasta was excellent preparation for the first course, which was my personal favorite. We ordered the barbuzzo meatballs, which were stuffed with caciocavallo cheese and topped with san marzano sauce. They were delicious and filling! We also ordered the whipped ricotta. I have never had ricotta with a sour cream-like consistency, but it was the best I have ever had. For the main dish, I opted for the grilled chicken palliard, although I have heard their bronzino is the best. And of course, for dessert, I had to try the salted caramel budino, which all the Yelp reviews have raved about! Certainly lived up to the hype!
