Great place to go to for a sweet treat!! Ive been here several times and the ice cream is always yummy!! The staff is great too! Very friendly!

If I could give this place TEN stars I would!! Im lactose intolerant and was excited to hear that this specific ice cream stop had a vegan option on their menu. When I placed my order, the young man behind the counter explained to me that they had recently run out of the vegan base, but he could make some fresh if I was willing to wait - and I said I was.Fast forward, it was THE BEAT FRIGGIN VEGAN CONCOCTION IVE EVER TASTED!!!!!! Its a coconut based ice cream, and I mixed mine with mango and pineapple, drizzled with honey and (already non-dairy) whipped cream. So. Delicious. Im honestly not exaggerating.The other part I do want to emphasize: IT WILL BE A LONG WAIT (if there are people ahead of you). BUT I DOUBLE PINKY PROMISE ITS SO WORTH IT!Also, not only was the ice cream above and beyond delicious, the two employees were above and beyond amazing. The young man honestly made my night and I dont want to go anywhere else for ice cream now! And be young lady who was also working was pleasant and sweet and made great conversation to make everything I experienced welcoming and enjoyable. They both deserve a raise in my opinion!(Pics attached are mine and my cousins ice cream! He got the Smores one!)

We went here midday and had a great experience. The guy working the counter was patient and made our time there pleasant. The main attraction was the rolled ice cream and OMG it was worth the freezing weather. I got the espresso patronum and it was amazing. Ill be telling everyone about this place and coming back.

Been here twice in the past month. Their rolled ice cream is so good. My mom has C is for cookie which she loved, and i had the peanut butter pie. Its peanut butter ice cream with a graham cracker and a reese cup with whipped cream and dark chocolate drizzle. I added reese pieces and nilla wafers. Its so delish. I have to try another flavor but Im so addicted to this one lol. Customer service has been great so far. Will definitely b back!!!

The ice cream rolls are decent. I wish they had more flavors. They are pretty slow with their service. Maybe once Covid is over, I can experience the facility without having to call ahead and can actually watch them make my ice cream.

Best acai and smoothie bowls in the city.Theyre made fresh to order, no pre-made or pre-frozen bowls like many other places. They also dont skimp on the actual smoothie or fruit like some other places.

I’m very upset. I called at 5:52 pm on 5/7/2020 to ask what time the shop is closing (due to covid 19). The lady who answered told me 8pm. At 7:06 pm, I called to place an order and the same lady hung up on me twice. The third time I called (around 7:08 pm) I asked to place an order she told me they’re closing up. I told her I called earlier and asked about the time and she said “I’m the same person you spoke to and we’re now closing up”. I told her I made my way there and I was 5 minutes away is there any way she can put an order in for me. I ASKED VERY NICELY!!! She said “what can I get you”. I told her my order and immediately after she hung up on me. RUDE!!!! I drove to Philly from New York today and hoped I can try this place out. Never again!!!!! I get that it’s difficult times right now but what the hell? Definitely telling my friends and family in PA to never visit this place. NY as well. Very bad experience.

Great location/hours and quality staff (family owned/operated). Rich but light airy textured Ice cream. With unlimited toppings, this spot is perfect for the family or a intimate night out. Met owner and talked about their vision for the upcoming year. Values customers input and feedback. I personally am excited to see the new additions roll out, and look forward trying everything new this spring/summer. Pleasent environment for all generations. Highly recommend. They were so nice and the way they make the ice cream is so beautiful. They are very skilled at their craft. I recommend that you go there. They don’t just sell ice cream either, they have coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls and other good stuff.

With the caveat that it was nine hours into a day of South Philly beer tourism, this shop was revelatory. The setup is much like the far-inferior Cold Stone gimmickry, but the ice cream is creamier (not gluey, for starters) and the flavors wide-ranging and, for my money, perfect. The woman at the counter barely batted an eye at the ridiculous concoctions we came up with, and while we were probably far more obnoxious than we knew, she gave it right back to us, and with a smile. Easy decision to return on our next trip.

Amazing acai bowls! I was hesitant to try an acai bowl from a store that also specializes in ice cream, but theyre great! I also asked them about their ingredients for their bowls and smoothies - everything is top brand organic. I knew theyd be good when I saw that they actually use Sambazon acai packs in every order. While most smoothie bars cut corners by using acai powder, they use the real acai fruit here the way it should be. The same for their pitaya bowls too, they use Pitaya Plus pitaya packets of real pitaya. They dont use any artificial flavoring and the fruit in their bowls is all fresh or fresh frozen.They have a ton of options and other smoothie bowls too. All of their toppings are organic & premium brands (theyll show you a current brand list for all of their add-ons, toppings and proteins).Dont let the ice cream fool you, these guys make high quality smoothies and smoothie bowls with premium ingredients!

If you say you open at 12pm, you should be open at 12pm... it is currently 2:15pm and you are definitely not open... shame**update 9/15/2021**here we are, two years later and i just saw the owners second response…i’m sure your business is wonderful as you have so many 5 star reviews… when i arrived at your establishment there was no note as to why you were not open and a friend and i made the trip specially to come to your store… you responded, and life got busy and i forgot about this incident… now two years later you go through and respond a second time but with a completely different tone… calling potential customers miserable seems out of place for a shop that has so many glowing reviews. we all have bad days, here’s a screen shot of the original response you gave in 2019… the preview doesn’t show the whole response and since you’ve changed it, what comes at the end is lost to time, but it was a very nice original response and offered a free order…

I ordered an acai bowl through grubhub the other night and unfortunately the driver cancelled so my order got cancelled. Matt from GMC was kind enough to give me his personal number to call the next day to order directly so as not to deal with grubhub. He was great, the acai bowl I ordered (Aloha Bowl) was exceptional and delicious, and he even added the extra items I asked for free of charge! I highly recommend Good Mood Creamery, not just for their delicious food, but top notch customer service. I will be back very soon! Thank you Matt!

Staff take their good old time to make your ice cream, with their speed about the same as the ice creams consistency. What does this mean? By the time you get your ice cream its already ¼ of the way done melting. Expect a 10 minute wait for something that takes other places 2 minutes to make. Rolled ice cream is a gimmick in itself, usually a gimmick doesnt mean it has to be bad, but in this case theres an exception to be made. Not worth the money.Update 2: Wow your response time to reviews is even longer than your wait times for ice cream.

My family stopped in last week before our flight home. This is an intriguing concept for ice cream! The entire prep process was cool to watch. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to their product. Each order is a custom creation for the customer. Roly Cow is definitely on my list to visit when we return to the area.

The girls working on Saturday 2/22/20 both coughed and sneezed all over their hands and didn’t wash them then proceeded to roll ice cream. They then proceeded to roll my wife’s ice cream who has a gluten allergy on the same plate as my cookies and cream. WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!

Very unprofessional. Staff is rude and they dont even make the order right. I ordered driven me bananas an the guy doesnt even put all the ingredients in it. Then the worker with the blue hair an the one with the big earrings in his head look at me an laugh saying im suprised he doesnt want everything on his as big as he is. An then makes fun of another customer because of the way she spells her name. The guy with the earrings starts rubbing his hair on top of the ice an then goes back to rolling. Very dirty. Will noy return ever again an will be contacting the manager since i was told there was no manager there tonight. My ice cream was horrible. If your on the heavy side would not recommend there if you want to be made fun of.
