Brought my car in when It kept having electrical issues and needed an oil change. The folks at Sun West helped me out immensely by discovering I had a bad belt which explained the electrical issue. Took my car home the same day I brought it in. Very helpful service and they took the time to explain what a Serpentine belt is! I highly recommend them, fair price and great value with full service options and conveniently located close to work downtown!

I really like this place. Ive taken both my cars here. They have done a wonderful job with all my auto needs. Not so good with my AC. After paying $500 to repair it, it only works when it wants to. Its getting hot and I chauffeur an 85 year old lady that requires air conditioning. Looks like I may be out of a job. I cant afford to pay anymore for mechanical work. I am very sad.

The guys over there are top notch.....Would recommend if your looking for a good mechanic, stop over there and take a chance. Highly recommended......

Called on a Saturday for oil change and tire rotation. Was informed to be there in one hour. Arrived; and within 5 minutes car was in bay. Kevin was very professional and informative. Reasonable price too. I would recommend.

Went in to get a oil change... the people there where great help and very fast. The oil change took about 30 min and the price was super cheap !I’d say cheapest in town !

I had a great experience here. My A/C hadnt worked on for a while, I had called and they said to bring it in when I had a chance for a free check. Of course I had a engine light come on right before I went(my car knew lol). The guys were great they diagnosed the A/C right away and ran a diagnostic for my engine light, told me straight up front quotes to repair, every reasonable price and fast fix. I first took my car to Alex from the recommendation of a friend. He did an exceptional job and at a price that was more reasonable than other places that I had shopped. I have referred my family and all of my friends to him. I am very impressed with the quality of work that he does.His work is timely and well done. He is as good as it gets.

Unfortunately have to go back and update my review because there is new ownership here. It pains me to leave any negative review ever but I feel obligated to warn others in this case. So here it goes...I called for 3 days to get an appointment and the person who answered each time said, manager is not in Ill have him call you when he gets in. Never got called back. Eventually I did call when the manager, who identified himself as the owner,rwas there I asked for an oil change and A/C diagnostic and he said bring it in.Brought the truck in within 15 minutes and the manager/owner was already gone. Came back to get it 4 hours later and the truck had not moved. I asked if it was synthetic oil and the only person there was a shop hand who said, I do not know which oil was used because I just getting paid by the day to help my friend, I am not a mechanic. No A/C diagnostic was done according to the shop hand. I asked him to call the person who did the oil change and he handed me his cell phone when the owner answered. When I asked the manager/owner he said yes of course it was synthetic but looking at the oil it was not changed let alone synthetic. When I asked about A/C diagnostic he claimed it is leak in the hose. I asked him to point it out to me and he was unable to because he was on the phone, not at the shop and had not done an A/C diagnostic. He then quotes me nearly 1k to fix the AC. When I continued to ask basic questions he became irate and said exactly, I hate this job because of people like you I am going to close the shop with a few more f bombs.Seriously take your car anywhere else this places new ownership has completely ruined their ability to service any automobiles. They will threaten to close their business if you ask for any detail on the diagnostic.

They are shady. They couldnt remount the automatic window panel after damaging the door secretly and kept my receipt so that I cant get a refund. It would be nice if mechanics would be honest and tell a person what they can and can not fix. $250 stolen from me because of another dishonest mechanic.

I bring my cars here all the time. They are the best and quality work done. I am so impressed by them. They are honest and they will tell you what in the future may need to be replaced...

Had a great experience with this shop - brand new a/c system and motor mount replacement, packaged very affordably and completed efficiently. Throughout the process, the mechanics were highly communicative and very professional. They explained each piece of the repair so I could understand the cost, and I left with a high degree of trust in this shop. After years of searching (and overpaying commercial shops), I finally found a locally-owned full-service repair shop that is affordable, competent, and trustworthy. I highly recommend these guys, and plan to bring all future repair work here.

Dishonest and irresponsible.I took my truck there a few days ago to have the front brake pads changed. BIG MISTAKE.I gave them the brake pads I had ordered myself to make sure theyd last a while. Driving for a couple days, the brakes still squeal. Today I went there to ask them what is going on. The managers first answer: They were cheap brakes. That is a lie.I let him know nicely that is not the case. He changes his story this time the rotors need service. I ask him why he didnt tell me that first so we could have them sanded while changing the brakes. Wait for his answer, it is brilliant: We dont bother telling it to people who bring their own parts.Folk, do yourself and your family a favor, stay away from these liers (and their lies). If something is wrong with your vehicle, they may just not bother telling it to you for whatever reason.Real nice work boys!

Fabulous experience in every aspect. Starting with the down to earth and very friendly greeting at the time of arrival to the accurate completion date of the repairs. Quality and service of the work on my Mercedes was A+. They make you feel welcome, not pressured to fix unnesscery items that most repair shops try to do. Alex the owner truly wants to do the right thing, and in this day and age it was a breathe of fresh air. He took the time to educate me about what was wrong with my car. He didnt try to confuse me and rush me to make a decision. They replaced all the brake rotors, pads, serpentine belt as well as performing an oil change, and the price was below market value. Ive been going to SunWest for 6 years. The owner, Alex, is wonderful. He always explains what is going on with the car and has very reasonable pricing. When I have a problem out of town, I call him first. I trust him completely with my cars. I went to a couple of places before settling here, and Im glad I found this place.

I went in yesterday and talked to a gentleman about my catalytic converter he stated that it was the passenger side and it would cost 1200 bucks. I took it somewhere else and they told me it was the drivers side of coarse Im confused now he guarantee that he was right and if he was wrong he would correct it. Needless to say he was right and my check engine light is off and truck is running great. He charged me 180 bucks definitely dodged a bullet with this guy.

Been there twice. Two different issues, fixed them both. Reasonable rates. He will be my go to mechanic since I recently acquired a second vehicle.

Sunwest is great! Theyve always done right by me. Usually I can get in and out, same day. The price is right. And theres an adorable shop cat that hangs out in the mix. If youre in the area definitely give them a try.

Would not recommend this shop at all. Very bad quality and broke door handle and tried to glue it back together, I keep calling to see if we can work something out but keeps forwarding my calls..

Paid $550 dollars to replace alternator it lasted about a year cheap off market parts used never going back

Poor communication. Took car in for AC repair. While they fixed it so that it cools, it does not blow as cold as before.

We have been coming here for years. Alex and the crew have always treated us like family. Their prices are lower than other places we have been and they always add additional work for free or very cheap. We wont take our cars anywhere else.
