I went to the new location in Tempe Market place, The owner and her Daughter were so sweet and kind! I love my Halloween soap so much, and adore the little squishy that was in it! The Owner was so kind, she showed me where she made her soaps

Oh my! Love this place!! It absolutely smells amazing and all the soaps are so unique! I’ve been trying to find a gift to give to some fellow employees and this was a great place to get them. The costumer service was great and she was super friendly! (I wish I could remember her name!) Anywho, she let us know that she could gift wrap any soaps we may want for an additional fee and so I took her up on it! She did an amazing job! Thank you again!

I’ve bought a LOT of bath mineral powders from them over the years and have always been very impressed! They smell amazing, a little goes a long way and I like the peace of mind of knowing that they’re high quality and good materials. Sale associates are always super nice, their show is adorable and their products are top notch. They’re the only bath bomb/bath mineral products I buy now!

SUPER cute soap and candle shop! Great for gifts, I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m heading to see family to pick them up some nice smelling goodies! And yes - those “baked goods” are actually soaps!!!

I went to Desert Ridge seeking a shoe store and AMC but happily stumbled into a soap store instead! I am OBSESSED. I would sell my kidney if I could just permanently smell like the shop does. I was so excited to use my soap that I opened one up in the bathroom at AMC. Amazing. Thank you so much!

Super cute shop with the most amazing soap creations Ive ever seen. I wanted everything. But unfortunately these soaps are very very pricey. I ended up only buying a set of small Saguaro shaped soaps for my daughter who is out of state at college and I thought they would be a cute way to remind her of home. There are great soaps in here for any gift giving or just because occasion, themes for the holidays, easter, spring, Arizona, Valentines day, birthdays, would make great teacher gift or mothers day gift. If youre not on a tight budget and looking for something unique this place is for you! Also the sales rep was super friendly and not pushy at all.

Very nice place to get your soap, fun name forced me into the shop and girl was it smelling fine! Fragrances are abundant and Im sure are better than over the counter mass produced soaps. Well worth the cost 1st off and with special priceing being offered are always welcomed by me anyway.Thank You for the pleasent conversation and free smell of the pine tree soap displayed, wicked awesome for sure.👋✌☝️NN🤟

Sorry for such a long review!! But I just visited Soap Des Jour for the second time earlier this evening! Even though I had already been before, I needed to restock on some soaps while I was in Phoenix! My experience this time was even better then the last! Right when I walked in I was greeted bye a very nice and helpful employee! We were even given the opportunity to demo different items around the store! Which I must have not realized was aloud the last time I visited! What really made me happy though, was the extremely nice employee, who was very easy to talk to and start up lovely conversations with. She was very happy and nice and get this!—somewhere during our conversation I mentioned that Michael Jackson was one of my favorite singers, and the lady immediately walked behind the counter, and changed the entire store music right then and there to MJ! Just for me! I know it sounds silly but it made me feel so special haha. The store smells great and the soaps work better then anything else I’ve ever purchased! I ended up buying a couple more soaps and a bath bomb and will definitely be returning!

I am not one to write reviews, but wow! Absolutely insane what this store offers. I couldnt believe my eyes, well actually, my nose! It smelled incredible. All the soaps had a unique smell and it made me buy 6 soaps...especially the Dragons Blood. When I say what a smell, what a smell...that was awesome. I will definitely be coming back to buy more soap.There was also this girl that wore all black, claimed to be the assistant manager. The owner is definitely training this one correctly, she knows everything! She was very helpful in helping me with my dry skin problems, I got the sea salt and just like that, no more dry skin. Very helpful and very accommodating! I will return soon, to smell more soaps. Will have to come in and talk to the assistant manager more often! Thanks!

For months I had wanted to visit this cute little shop. The other week I had enough on hand to stop in with the intention of dropping a pretty penny for some wonderful soaps.The clerk in the store seemed mostly disinterested. After looking at a few soaps and getting near the counter she asked, Have you been here before? I said I hadnt and was excited about the possible interaction. Instead, she said, Ok and went back to saying nothing.After that, I left the store empty handed. I dont need fanfare, but it felt like my business wasnt really welcome.

Super nice! All their products are well made and smell super good. The lady who helped me and my friend out (i forget her name but she had brown hair and mentioned she was the assistant manager) was super super nice and helpful! I will definitely be coming back here.

One of a kind... handmade quality soaps and they make the soaps at the store right in front of my face. They also have a cool make your own soap studio. They make soaps with safari animals #greatconcept #handmade A MUST SEE!

Update:In response to owners response(who replied publicly but didnt actually try to contact me) The governors order exempts those medically unable to wear masks, as does the county order, and the city order. So if you wanna follow the rules maybe you should know them.... and I was not offended by your covid policies; the main issue I had was with the rudeness of your employee. We dont care. We are privately owned and refusing you service as a response to someone explaining they have a disability is not only rude, but discrimitory. Quite frankly its also illegal thanks to the protections of the Americans with Disabilities Act.Original review:Nobody was in the store at all. Came in to buy some bath bombs for my wife. I buy them here all the time. They asked me to wear a mask. I explained I cannot for medical reasons but my wife is outside putting hers on. I was told they dont care and asked to leave. Ok Ill never be back. Ill make sure everyone knows you refuse service to disabled veterans.

I have no words. Everything was so nice, from the product to the people. I have absolutely fallen in love with their Unicorn Tears fairy dust shimmer mist. It is a truly magical work of art. Its beautiful to look at and to smell, it feels wonderful on the skin. It is so aromatic and the littlest spritz goes a long way. Their soaps are wonderful and their scrubs are too. I could go on, I really cant say enough good about my new favorite store. The only thing I would like to change is that I would like the Unicorn Tears to be on the website. Im moving out of state soon and want my new favorite scent available to me.

Well I would like to place an order on the website but there are NO SIZES listed, how many ounces/lbs is a bar of soap, a jar of bath salts? Is it 2 oz or 24 oz, maybe 60 oz? Come on now, you have 50% off but thats pointless if your website has zero details. I know you are incredibly overpriced from being in your store but you do need to list the size of your product. (and the full ingredient list)

My hands used to bleed and crack often. The Dead Sea soap saved me. Wonderful product

Overpriced. Pushy associates pressure you into buying by hiding price, then ringing you up. I guess it’s a scare sales tactic. Anyhow soap does absolutely nothing different then the cheapest one from the dollar store. Also those good scents don’t even stay on your skin. I agree with previous 1 star review. I have no clue where these good reviews are coming from.

Soap I got from here was horrible.Ingredient list hidden on all 3 bars I bought. When I opened them, all three were missing the key ingredients that Id bought them for. No lime or jasmine in the lime and jasmine scrub. No Eucalyptus or lavender in the Eucalyptus and lavender soap. No goats milk in the goats milk soap - just water.I dont know where these good reviews are coming from, but Ill never buy anything from here again. My skin feels disgusting.This was a complete scam.

The employees are amazing and know what theyre selling! I bought three bath bombs from that shop and let me tell you, theyre amazing! They leave your skin soft. Good news? Nothing in it is dangerous. Its all made in store with actual ingredients. If you need bath bombs, this is the place to go.

What a nice restaurant. Unfortunately when I walked in there every table in the place was dirty and empty. The gentleman, who seem to be the owner, whats slowly walking around the cash register area when I shut about out cleaning the tables off. I wasnt impressed when you walk in with all dirty tables bought it gave me the impression that the food maybe good and it was . I definitely wanna go back and try some of the other food.

Horrible manager. They’re rude to their employees. If sales aren’t made they harass you and make you feel like you’re the problem. Not a great management style and it’s a shock they’re even in business when they treat their employees as horribly as they do.

Went in to buy some soaps as a gift. The lady attending us was very social, informative, and recommended us some soaps that smelled really good. If I ever want more soaps, then I will definitely comeback here.
