Sam and the rest of the team at Exhale Bike are incredible to deal with. They are upfront and honest business people. I brought my bike in for some repairs, as I couldnt find a new bike that fit my needs. I got a quote to repair my bike for less than expected. While I was talking to Sam about the repairs, he mentioned a new bike that was just built that would be perfect for me. I tried it out, and it is a perfect fit. A nice red Specialized Rockhopper. Great customer service and I am a new fan of Exhale Bikes and their team.

Rented an allez road bike for 2 days. Phenomenal Bike!! I road the canal trail, and climbed up red rock north neighborhood. The bike was fast!! Rode 86 miles, so it cost less than a dollar a mile. Got a flat on my way home, but the flat kit provided had a CO2 canister that filled me up just enough to get back. If youre looking for a road/race bike rental, this is the place to go.

Why are you you even here when you should be inside the store giving these people all your money. I purchased a rip rock for my daughter, I thought Id jump the gun however I did not my 2-year-old daughter rides it like a pro thanks to these guys helping me get the sprocket set up just right so she can pedal easily. The staff treats everyone like family. They are experts in the cycling field and do an excellent job of fitting you to your bike which is a must for any rider to get the fullest out of their bike. They dont do pressure sales but will give you a lot of useful information. They will also do custom builds.

Extremely helpful! I upgraded my 8 speed Shimano cassette to a 12 speed SRAM Eagle. Parts are scarce now but they were able to locate a slightly used cassette.It took a couple of weeks. But they got it done.I couldnt be happier with the end result.Exhale Bikes knows how to get it done!

They do a great job, they are super busy though, so if you want your bike fixed right away you might think about going somewhere else.

It seems trivial but the tube patch kit is the best deal around, $4.29 including tax for 12 1 patches and 2 tubes of glue!Ive uploaded photos of the kit and contents.Really encouraging to find a place that has an actual service department and repair parts.If youre so inclined theres a selection of bike-themed jewelry; I picked up a bracelet made from a bike chain.

My first-time visit: took in the 700c monoshock S.P.A. forks from my 2010 TREK 7300 to see about fixing the play in the double-tubing; theyd never heard of or seen the TREK SPA fork before; they called the closest TREK dealer & they assured us that there was no real fix for it - at least not $$ viable.I went away satisfied that I needed to look for another fork set.The atmosphere was a professional shop...& we were surrounded by much SPECIALIZED eye candy..!This is a pic of the carbon fibre fork I bought - great deal on EBAY: but my CONTINENTAL ULTRASPORT slicks, on my current rim, fits in way too snug; so low profile tires are the next on the list..!...(& I was about to respray the frame anyway...so instead of attempting to duplicate the factory colors & design; I went with what u see here to complement the new fork set).

The guys are nice, but way over priced. I needed a cone tool. MSRP on manufacturers website said $5.45 the package had no price on it by the time Im paying it rings up 9.77 and I get well that PARK TOOL for you by the guy checking me out. I bought a similar tool a mile away and they used PARKTOOL MSRP. just way over priced when they are not the only game in town. Better off buying the thing some where else.

I have been going to this shop for the last four years. I went in as a beginner to cycling and wanting to lose some weight. These guys are super helpful. I have not had a bad experience in the shop yet. Sometimes, you have to wait, especially the last for months, because they are always busy in a good way.Very knowledgeable staff that listen to your needs. Every staff member has been willing to help from picking a new bike, fixing up old bike, help get the right size for clothes, and finally even endless questions on bike computers.They have been great to my wife when she needed help getting into cycling. She is 410 and needs things adjusted to fit her. The staff treats her just like a long time roadie, getting ready for a race.This is what great customer service is knowledgeable without being elitist.👍👍

Exhale Bikes are very noligable about all bikes. I found myself a 1969 Schwinn stingray that I had receved from a very good friend. It needed a little tune up and a rear tire. They told me to bring it down and they would get right to work. I never have anything negative to say about Exhale Bikes. Thanks for every thing!!!!!

Certified dealer for Specialized bikes and accessories. Excellent service. Guys are very helpful and knowledgeable. Ive bought 3 bikes there in the last 4 years. Ive never had an issue on the trails because Exhale bikes services and maintains my bikes to keep them running properly and problem free.

Every time I come in here I leave feeling worse than I did coming in specifically due to the front manager. If the owner reads these Im happy to share my experience. Wonderful mechanics and good selection of specialized, but your front man KILLS the customer experience. Elitiest, rude, unprofessional, and just seems angry that you literally came into the store... consistently. This is a response to many visits. I drive twice as far and will happily pay more just to avoid dealing with your manager.

I would like to thank Jason, Lance and Steve for their help. I dealt with Lance first, and he was very knowledgeable, and very friendly. He gave many options for me, and was thorough in his explanations. Next I dealt with Jason, and Jason has helped a ton. He helped me selecting a right bike, to helping me change the parts at the lowest cost to me. Lance also suggested right tires for my way of riding.Store is excellent. I upgraded the seat, and they gave me a credit for the exchange. Granted it was replacement of the original seat that came on a brand new bike, that was switched to a new seat from their store.BUT...no other store would do that. So in my case it cut down the price of a bigger seat in half. From $50 to $25 after credit.Tires changed in the same fashion.If you buy a bike from them you get lifetime tune-up of derailleur, for free. Prices for the repairs are lower than most stores I have seen. MOST importantly experience is very different from other stores. It was good every time I have been there. I actually got a follow up calls once they received Specialized Roll, just to try.I have been to some stores around town and attitude completely turned me off. Without saying the name of the bike stores, but major ones, where techs scuff at you, or think you are stupid because you are asking questions.I highly recommend Exhale Bikes based on the strength of their knowledge and attitude. Perhaps there are other stores similar to Exhale, but I havent seen one like that.They are Specialized Bike brand authorized retailerThey also will help you pick out a bike based on price. They wont scuff at you if you say what you need. They even matched the Specialized Bikes price online for me in the store. Steve allowed that, and thats great, because stores wont do that normally, unless its a huge retailer.Thank you Jason, Lance, Steve.

I have to say that the staff here is not only knowledgeable, but riding bikes is in their blood. I always think of this bike shop because i remember coming here many years ago only to be invited on some bike outings. Buy from here. You wont regret it! Dont purchase anything online. The savings arent worth the headache of something not fitting or being counterfeit.

Going into the store is always a plus, but Don B. helped my friend and I this morning while we were walking back home. My buddy got a flat tire on the trail, which caused us to walk home. Don B. saw us walking and offered us a ride. Never met the guy, but we both appreciate him taking the time to help us out. Ive been here a few times for parts and theyve always been extremely helpful. This last time I bought an inner tube for my bike tire and couldnt get it assembled right. I brought the tire in and they assembled it for me free of charge. He even noticed that Id lost the valve stem cap and put a new one on free of charge and without being asked. Ill be coming back here for any of my future bike needs! Thank you!

I brought my son’s bike here to replace a flat. The first time out, he had a blowout. Returned to the shop and got it replaced. Had a blowout on day 2. Returned to the shop for the THIRD TIME to get it repaired. Within a week it’s flat. I had NO IDEA that a flat was so problematic! Now I’m out around $150 bucks and in the same place I was a month ago. Save your time and your money. Look elsewhere. To say I’m disappointed is the understatement of the year.

The store itself was very well laid out, however the maintenance staff was very rude and put off an additude of not really caring. It appeared like he was trying to rush me out the door. I do not recommend this shop

My son got a brand new bike, not purchased from here, but the back brakes were not working. We called Exhale and Cody spoke with me and told me to bring it in. He said he could for sure fix it and would need a couple days which I was totally fine with. I just needed my son to have back brakes, Cody called me back later on that night and said he was done and I could come pick it up! I am extremely happy with the customer service I received and am so happy my son has working back brakes! Thank you so much!

Great bike selection, upgrade options, and ability to repair virtually anything.Another thing Ive noticed is this shop is open longer hours than most other bike shops and you get a way more personalized experience working with these folks.Would recommend for any bicycle enthusiasts out there.

I didnt end up buying a bike here. But after seeing what they had on display, I know that this is where I would go when Im ready to pull the trigger. I ran into this place by accident while I was heading somewhere else, but I was glad I stopped and saw their selection and great prices. Ill definitely be coming back another day.

You guys need to use a different merchant + merchant tellers. I wouldnt ever stand a chance of your store losing money the way you did with my card. Luckily I proceeded to access the cash necessary to make the close to 1k dollar purchase. I had a bad first experience with them but with so many good reviews I thought it was a fluke and decided to try again. The second experience was actually worst then the first. During my second visit, I brought a bike in for an upgrade. I had just bought the bike and the employee was telling me the bike was no good and asking me how much I spent. I couldnt believe how bold he was. On top of that, they screwed up the upgrade. Needless to say, I will never be back.

I bought my Fuse Comp from them and even though I didn’t have an appointment for a tune up they got me in within a 12 hour notice and adjusted my bike to get me back on the trails right away. At this point me and my family have been coming here for years and every time we are in, the customer service from the mechanics and the manger is always amazing and it had always apparent how much they valued our needs because of how far they were willing to go to accommodate us and our schedules. But today, the manager Steve went above and beyond, we went in initially just for a quick tubeless sealant refill and during the wait we were talking and without going into detail, Steve offered a little bit of much needed insight to a problem I am currently dealing with and on top of that offered his services to help me get out of this jam. I am so happy that we found them because of 1) the act of kindness demonstrated today and 2) because of how rare it is in todays world to find genuine people who arent only nice just to make a dollar off of you. Maybe its because Im only 21 but I cant recall another time Ive had this great of a rapport with someone, we will definitely continue to come back for all of our cycling needs. Thank you.

Excellent customer service. They are very through and detail oriented. I rented a bike with a friend and they spent 30 minutes tweaking everything on the bike and tuning it up. It really impressed me how much they cared and the passion thwy have for the business. They even let you credit your rental fees towards a bike. Which I thought was a nice perk. I will definitely consider them when looking for a bike.

Garrett was awesome, patient and informative. The sales mgr, not so much...rude, intolerant and couldnt look away from the computer to answer my questions. Very bothered. I scheduled a bike rental, called to confirm the bike i wanted to rent was still scheduled to be there to rent and was told hed call me back to confirm...no call...at all. Like i didnt even reserve a bike. Thankfully i reserved a bike elsewhere and for $35 less. Ill purchase my new bike elsewhere! Before this situation my sons bike was in for service and was promised a time. Again i called to confirm and was assured it would be ready...it wasnt. He had to miss a planned ride with his cousins...

I have rented a mountain bike from here twice. They charge $35 for a specialized rockhopper with helmet and you keep it the entire weekend when renting on a Friday. Great service and knowledgeable staff.

Free tune-ups with bike purchase. Have had my bikes for a couple of years, 2nd tune-up and the bikes were also detailed, very clean. 2 bikes, 3 day turnaround.

I went to Exhale Bikes on May 11, 2016 because I wanted to purchase a Specialized Expedition Gloss Hyper color bike and this bike shop had it in stock and at a great price. David greeted me and he answered all of my questions and my new bike with all of the accessories was ready in no time flat. David explained that he was new to the shop but he did an exceptional feat for me. Exhale Bikes is the quintessential bike shop when you want to purchase a new bike or any type of a repair. Its wonderful Phoenix has such a reliable bike shop. The whole staff knows what they are doing, too, which gives the consumer peace of mind.

The service at Exhale is top notch. This was the 4th bike shop Ive gone to, for a bike to ride to work on, didnt think it would be that hard, it was! Neither Roadrunner or Sonoran would even give me the time of day, and Bike Depot was good, but didnt have what I decided on in stock, and 2.5 weeks later...still waiting. So, I went to Exhale, I shouldve gone there first. Joey was SO helpful, really listened to my needs. I cant believe I have a bike. I didnt get the managers name, and he was awesome too, he hooked me up!! Totally helped me out with the pricing, all of the reviews that complain about prices too high at Exhale, dont know what theyre talking about. Im a biking noob working on a budget to get an older bike back to good. Each employee Ive encountered here has been a pleasure to work with. Seems all here really dig what they do. Ive only purchased replacement/spare parts so far...but the cool little tricks and tips they share about bicycle repair and maintenance have been invaluable. I have done business with them for over 15 years and Nate and Steve have taken care of me and my wife with our road and mtb needs, repairs, and purchases. Best bike shop in the Valley! The owners actually ride bikes and they support the sport of cycling in every way possible. They are especially encouraging to kids and women, sponsoring high school racing and regular womens rides. Their mechanics are the best and most experienced in town. They ride bikes too! If you want to try racing, the shop always has a friendly team at the races with plenty of food, drinks and fun people.

Awesome service! Came in with a bike I had just bought for my son thinking it needed new tires, the young lady that helped me was super sweet. One of the guys took the bike, aired up the tires, fixed the chain (even took it back to shorten the chain) fix a couple other things for no price. It all took under ten minutes. Im just upset I didnt get their names. I will definitely go back for all and any bike needs!

I ordered a trike from another store online and wasnt able to assemble it myself. Not only did the friendly people at Exhale get me an appointment fast, but they called to check with me over an optional piece that came along with my bike. Great workmanship, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and great prices. Theyre an asset to our community and theyve gained a customer for life.

I went to exhale bikes today to buy a bike for my girlfriend. Patricks knowledge in directing us to the right bike was much appreciated. We got the bike home and the tire was flat on the back. We took the bike back to exhale and they more than took care of us. We were back on our way in less than 20 minutes fully repaired at no charge. The bike had air in the tire when we test rode it in the parking lot so we picked up a thorn or something there. Exhale DID NOT sell us a faulty product. Exhale DID repair something that I believe was not their fault. I will be returning in the future for sure.

Amazing tram of professional mechanics that have helped me work on getting lots of fun rides.

Bought a Specialized Fuse a couple of years ago at Exhale even though I do not live in AZ. This past weekend I was in Fountain Hills for the Dusk to Dawn Zia Ride. Nate and the Exhale team were in attendance and supported me both emotionally and physically (food, cold beverage and chair in the shade). Nate and Exhale Team can be counted on for support and help before and after the sale. I can not say enough good things about these individuals.

I went in for a mountain bike, and they were very educational and not pushy at all. I bought a Specialized Epic. Awesome bike. They have always been extremely helpful. So much so that I went and got a road bike as well. Another Specialized. Great brand. Nate and his staff and very knowledgeable and they never tried to upsell me into anything. They truly searched out what I wanted and guided me into making my own decision. Ive referred many people over there and Ill continue to do so! Im actually going in when it opens right now for a 29 tube for my wifes bike!

I went in looking for information on cross country cycling, an all I got was jeers for my ideas and a sales pitch for their higher end bikes... and when I tried to buy something to show support and make up for their time spent talking to me, no one seemed at all interested in ringing me up, thats when I noticed they where only interested in the nicer dressed people that looked like they had money and no idea what to spend it on. Im definitely willing to travel twice as far to avoid these guys! Only go in if you absolutely need to, and definitely avoid that chump with the glasses, James, or whatever his name is...

If I could rate them 10 stars, I would. I went in for the first time yesterday just to look around. Ended up going back later with my bike (didnt buy it from them) and spent an hour or so with James. He fitted the bike to me and I bought a few items to help me along. I havent ridden my bike for a couple of years, it just wasnt comfortable. I ride it today and wow! Its so much more comfortable after just a few tweaks. Love the place, loved the people. Thanks guys!
