Lovely, peaceful book store. Very helpful staff. Family friendly. Great place for any religion with a wide assortment of book.

I love this store!!! Paige that works the clothing center is so helpful and kind! She helped me find what I was looking for and even gave me great suggestions! I was in the store when piano dad was there and he was very rude to Paige when Paige was trying to be helpful! It’s sad to see that people make stories up to try and hurt another person’s reputation. Hopefully piano Dad learns a lesson not take everything so personal.

First time there. They have beautiful merchandise. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous.

For a brick and mortar store it has a decent selection. Would be great for any last second gifts for outgoing missionaries! The staff are very knowledgeable. There was a nice assortment of pretty white dresses for young ladies.

Paige at the clothing area was very rude and unhelpful. I have returned clothes before and have never been treated to rude and unhelpful by a member ever. I can’t believe she calls herself a saint. I had to get the manager for help. Laurie is kind and wonderful and so is the book Manager who helped us greatly! I hope Paige can take some lessons in customer service and really wanting to help people. Maybe she just hates big people and judges books by covers. Anyway proceed with caution around her and try to get a manager involved to not waste your time with her.Thank you management of the bookstore for making things right for us.

So many great items at Deseret Book. Im glad to have one back in the local area. There are religious books as well as clean fictional books. Good selection of kids books, some games, and household items. Many of the items are geared toward members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but there are many good items for anyone who worships Jesus Christ or wants to know more. Beautiful artwork for sale, and even a good selection of candy. Great store run by friendly helpful workers.

I found a book of sayings that you year out. I used them to insert with cards that I wrote to my family in lieu of being able to be with them at Thanksgiving. It was just a little extra touch.

Love that new store smell. Welcome back to west Phoenix!It has been a long seven-year absence. It is wonderful to shop for such inspirational and gospel-related items in person, rather than online, or instead of having to drive an hour across town!Everything is bright and new. Very clean presentation. The rows are a bit tight to get through if someone is already looking at items in that section. But it is worth the time and effort to find another area to browse while searching through the store.Even better is to now have the Distibution clothing available in the back of the store. The staff were very helpful and gave great personal attention.It was great to see Leslie working in the main store area and at the register. She is a familiar staff member that is a holdover from the previous west valley location. Im sure well make friends with other staff members as we visit often.Thanks, again, for coming back to Phoenix. Weve missed you dearly!

Beautiful store! We expected used books, to be honest, like Deseret Industries on Bell. Has only new items such as: decor, books, and paintings. Many but not all items are faith-based with very friendly, helpful staff.
