I’ve been coming here on a weekly basis now, for about 2 months, it’s a bit of a drive for me, but always worth it. I’ve checked out about every comic shop now within a hours jurisdiction from where I live and find this one has consistently the best selection for what I’m looking for.I’ve had many conversations with the employees/ owner, their interest in comics is genuine, also the biggest $1 bin selection around. Their swinging panels with displayed comics are awesome for just viewing and/ or purchasing.What I appreciate most from comic shops is a good selection of back issues, a shop with a little character where they don’t just have new stuff, a good range in pricing, and also one where you could possibly get a good recommendation from your interests. This shop has checked all the boxes.

This is the first comic book shop to carry some of the most obscure indie comics and graphic novels that I’m into. Of course they have all the marvel, dc, boomstudios, image, dark horse..etc but they also have deeper finds that I’ve had to order and wait for online and they have them IN STOCK!! in fact I’ve not yet had to go anywhere searching for editions after checking here first. So yea I’m a big fan. They have a large selection of collectibles as well if that’s your thing but if your a comic head go here first!

The staff are wonderful every time I take my son here. Gives stickers and tells him which character is their favorite in the series. He leaves happier then coming in. Perfect middle size comic store. Hard to find a comic book store now a days

If you want a good selection of comics and pop culture then you have found the best place in town dont waste your money at any of the other pro liberal comic shops in town that cater to cat ladies and the over sensitive mask wearing knuckle draggers.This is the only free non liberal nonsense place in town for conservative collectors to shop and buy from. They believe in freedom and not to mask muzzle you with the covid paranoia nonsense. Live Free and Buy Comics !

Great collection of retro and current character toys with an excellent selection of popular comics

I have been using Dreadnought Comics exclusively for all my comic/collection needs, as a local comic artist if I’ve ever needed a book or collection for books, toy for reference or anything, Jacob and Jeff have always gone so far above and beyond the call of duty to get me taken care of and always treat their clientele like family. If I could give this shop 10 out of 5 stars I would. If you haven’t checked them out already, do yourself a favor and stop by soon. I promise you, you won’t regret it.

One of the best places to learn about your comics. Looked for a series and they didnt have it but the guy and I had a good 10 min conversation about the series itself and is on the look for my series for me which means alot. Super friendly and educating

Jeff was generous enough to wait 20 minutes after closing for me to bring my comics and on top of that was more than fair on value! I was super impressed by his knowledge and honesty and upon walking into his store I was amazed at the myriad of comics and other related items! So if youre looking for a reliable comic book store, I strongly recommend going there!

I absolutely love this place. I was able to work on finishing some of my comic book collections and the guys working at the shop were awesome. They were able to help me out and get me what I was needing.

Great place to pick up comics. They carry most of the main titles and have a good back issue selection. The atmosphere is absolutely great and the owners are friendly and so are the customers. Ive never had a bad experience here.

I think comics are cool but my 13yo son loves them to the point this is what he does with his time and money. He sees it as an investment and the guys here at Dreadnought Comics have shown him nothing but love and respect. Im grateful for guys like this setting the example for boys like my son. The best comic shop in Phoenix! I’ve sold a number of my Bronze & Silver Age comics here, and have always received a fair price from Jeff and the Dreadnought team.

The staff here knows what theyre talking about and will pull aside for you, what you are wanting to get before you even know its out!I only come once a month but they keep my file full of the necessary books to satisfy my cravings!Whenever I see something that sparks my interest, I ask them how it is and what its about and they never fail to provide me with a thorough synopsis!Place is dope, location is good, people are awesome! Definitely recommend. I go there all the time, and the guys over there are super helpful. For months, its been the only place I ever go for comics. Once a week in fact. Pretty much all of my comics, especially the recent ones, are from there. Definitely the best place in town. I have two brothers, and even though one of them isnt that into comics, he always finds something to buy. Theyve got pins, figurines, pins, etc. along with their large selection of books. Theyre very reasonably priced. Usually only 3 bucks for a new book. Great place to go for your comic needs. They recently changed their location, and I love it! Its larger, and has a lot more stuff.

The guys that work there are knowledgeable and kind. They will help you look for something new or old if you cant find it. They have a fairly large inventory for the Phoenix area. Easy to get to and has a lot of parking.

I stop in here several times a week. They always have my new releases on hand and a great selection of recent back issues. Easy to navigate the store and the dude who runs it is super friendly and helpful.

This is one the best comic and collectibles stores Ive been in. The number of comics and the way they are setup inside lol. Its crazy, something a fan would definitely appreciate. Toy sections of the place....blast from the past if ya grew up in the 90s like myself. X men, spawn, pokemon...you name it.

They sell great Comics at a reasonable price and the guy behind the counters actually knows his Comics knows, what hes doing.

The owners are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Support (local) comic stores. Theyre like a rare breed these days. Enjoy them while we can. These guys seemed to have made it work where others have not (knock on wood now please).

We went here a couple days ago not really knowing what we were looking for. The guys came out and helped us right away. They even took the time to go through a few story lines with my 4 year old and 7 year old to see if that was something they really wanted and letting me know what was appropriate enough to let them read comfortably. I really like this place and will come back and recommend to other people.

I love these guys! I go in with my family at least once a week and always feel welcomed. I have invested a lot of time and money into comics over the past 3 weeks and majority of my comics have came from them. Their prices are fair, and staff is very helpful. I love each and every visit we have. Will have many more visits for the future.

If youre into comics or collectables they have a great selection. You can even special order. They also carry a great selection of airsoft pistols and rifles.

Very knowledgeable staff I go in about once a week all the way from chandler. Its very worth the trip. They specialize in back stock and rare comics. The store is set up in a very unique and easy to sort through way. Definitely a one of a kind comic book store. Take the trip out you will not be dissapointed.

Anytime we are in Phoenix we stop by this comic and card shop. Every time weve been the owner slash worker has been very good to us very knowledgeable very personable and often throws in little bonus things which is pretty sweet. Definitely be going here as often as Im in the Valley.

The owner is an awesome guy! I brought my wife with me so we could get some comics for my son and we ended up walking out with smiles on a faces along with our purchase. You can see the joy and passion they put into the place. Bravo Zulu!

Awesome store. The categorization system was based on character rather than title, which gave our treasure hunt here a fun little twist. Found some great stuff at great prices. The wall displays were really cool and unique as well.

The owner seemed cool, but the comic selection was disappointing. I called in on the phone and was told they had a ton of slabbed high grade key issues but it was actually quite limited. Maybe just low stock this time of year?

Cool little shop with a super cool layout! The panel displays really catch the eye. Carries both new and 2nd hand comics and collectables. Also has airsoft equipment. Customer service in my experience is bar-none. Always friendly and always willing to help find what you are looking for.

A great comic shop that has a unique display system. These huge panels that eliminate sorting through issues. They have nice memorabilia, good deals, plenty of current storylines and even a tactical airsoft facility. The employee was really nice, the store was clean and organized and the airsoft creates another fun element. Its easy to find as its right by the cinemas.

Pretty great selection of those pesky single issue comics you missed in the late 80s, 90s and early 00s. Alright inventory of the new stuff - mostly mainstream though. Dont expected to find a lot of trades or indie comics, go for the action figures and awesome displays.

Pretty neat little shop hidden away in the emptiness of bell canyon plaza. Large selection of comics and genres. Action figures. Collectables. Nik naks. Staff was friendly and it reminded me of atomic comics from when I was a kid. My niece loved it and we will be back in again after finding this hidden gem. Its across from santisi bros if anyone is having trouble.

Wow! I was only here cuz my boy likes comics so i bought him a gift card for christmas. When I walked into this place and actually looked around???? Wow they know how to utilize space! Its like a museum of comic books in this place! I didnt think Id find anything Id like in there when i first bought the card, but when I saw the old spawn comics i was proven wrong. And Im a closet MTG player and they had some cool old cards and unopened boosters and cheap rares, I may just be coming back on my own without the kids!!
