Love this store. I set out looking for a rosary but found beautiful mala beads instead for my mom with dementia. Needed something to keep her hands busy. Love the meaning behind these beads as well and the tassle adds just a wonderful touch.

Great selection my only disappointment is that they are always out of dragons blood incense.

Although this place is easy to overlook due to all the construction going along side it, it shouldnt be a reason to avoid searching for it. This place has tons of unique statue, figure, crystals and candles that I havent been able to find anywhere else. This is a nice place to visit for sure.

Great selection of crystals with slightly higher prices than normal but worth every crystal inch. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly and makes you feel like a friend instead of a customer with money. Highly recommend just going to check everything out.

I waited half an hour for store to open, when store opened, I was greeted, thats good, then I was asked if I needed help looking for what I needed, thats also good.. when I explained what I needed, I was immediately shot down! with no persuasion to change idea, no help in trying to find said item, I was out of store in less than 2 minutes! after waiting half an hour.. what ever happened to work ethic?

They have a lot of beautiful pieces that are amazing prices. They have books, crystals, candles, etc. for whatever you need and its great! A couple of the workers do tend to stare if youre different (as in wearing anything to do with the darker stuff), which isnt the first time theyve done this to me when I go in but there was one worker who still helped me and was friendly about it. Ill still go back despite being watched the whole time 🖤

The store itself is amazing! Unique products and very well displayed. Cool books and stones, cards, amazing selection of sage bundles. The gentlemen employ was very informative and helpful. Now the reason I gave it two stars was because the Owner, Lady in the back behind the curtain telling a distressed women her life story reading so loud the entire store could hear it. How embarrassing! The owner was extremely rude to my friend about a return that was the stores fault. I thought it was ironic the store that sold sage; crystals and tons of beautiful good vibe products had an owner with such bad engery I had to walk out of the store. Maybe the store would have been better if I wore head phones and the owner lady was gone on vacation..!!!

I will never return to this store. Such disrespectful employees! The entire vibe of the store is incredibly negative; you feel like an unwelcome nuisance from the time you enter to the time you leave. A typical experience youll find at this store is getting followed around by a condescending Karen staring at you, barking orders such as you break it you buy it, even if you arent touching anything. I guess they think youre going to steal something. My thing is if youre so concerned about somebody stealing Id suggest having 24/7 camera monitoring. Im sure you lose more money from the poor customer service than you would with monitoring. You wont be in business much longer with this kind of service, word is getting out! My recommendation is to go to the Astrology shop in Glendale if you can... Larger selection and much kinder service!

They force you to wear a mask even if you have a medical exception. I walked out and wont EVER go back. I wont put my money towards a business that tells me what to do with my own body. The owners obviously need to educate themselves on basic immunity and viruses.

I loved shopping here, until I came in one day (after pandemic started), and the ladies acted like I was diseased when I told them I had a latex allergy. They wanted me to wear the gloves before entering the store (which I have no issue with), but all they had to offer was latex gloves when I visited. I asked if it was gonna be a problem if I came in without gloves on, and her response: just dont touch anything. If you touch, you buy. I felt that was a bit rude and harsh, but I complied. All the while I was stared at and watched like a hawk as I browsed through the incense section.I just wanted to get some incense for my friends birthday and I couldnt even do that without being made to feel like I was gross or gonna cause an outbreak. Really sad and bad customer service in my opinion.

I’d give this place a lower rating if I could. I went into this store the other day, and the first thing I noticed is that it felt very bad in there, like tense and angry. Then I also said hi kindly to let them know that I was here, and I was greeted by being told I needed to wear gloves with no welcome or hello. I don’t mind masks, in fact you should wear them, but gloves it too much. Offer hand sanitizer but don’t force it. That wasn’t the worst part, I picked up a few candles that I wanted to buy and brought them to the front to pay for them and the lady at the front asked for an ID, now, I’m clearly not an adult and I haven’t been to my high school at all this year to get an ID due to COVID. I offered her every proof of information I had so she could no it was my card and she still would not let me pay for my things. So I left because I was not gonna deal with any more of her snappy attitude. I don’t care what kinda say your having or if that’s your personality, you never treat a customer the way she treated me. The was snappy, had some serious attitude, and was very clearly a angry woman. Long story short, I don’t recommend shopping here. As much as I love the items, I also go to a store to be treated like a person.

With everything going on right now, its nice to find a magical little shop that feels like home. You walk in to the smell of incense and see sphere after sphere of crystal. You do have to wear a mask and put on gloves, but you dont mind because you want to touch and hold everything. I recommend if youre looking for candles or incense or sage, you can even get a reading. They have an impressive book collection. And the staff is very friendly. Give it a try, youll like it.

The first time I went, a woman seemed to follow my daughter and I around the store, but said nothing. When you walk in, the greeter usually sounds irritated. This is the only place I can find proper Dragons blood incense though. And they have a decent book selection.

Prices are fair but certain items seem to be oddly priced as well, great crystal selection and figurines though.

I just had the most incredible reiki experience, and my son bought a necklace and broke the chain, and they replaced it with no problems. Sheryl was so friendly and helpful and kind and the energy in the store was spectacular. I love this place.

Absolutely wonderful staff and store. From the photos I saw online i was thinking it was a small store; but boy was I wrong! Jan Ross has a huge store, with so much to see, to read, and to smell! I definitely recommend buying some incense, or essential oils.Their crystals are amazing, so are their candles, books, statues, tarot cards, and so much more! I would recommend this shop to anyone on a budget, they have very cheap prices, but also amazing and gorgeous products!I suggest going there to see for yourself, I purchased some colorful candles for myself I absolutely adore them! The staff was amazing and I loved my experience, all the positive things I could write about! So worth it!

Not sure if the ladies that are working today are having a bad day or what. They were not helpful and not once out of the many times I said thank you did she say anything back to me. I dont feel the sweet kindness that I do when I have went into any other store. I am hopeful that is was just the wrong day to go into the store and everyone else that goes into the store has a better experience.

Tries to sell you something expensive right off the bat, which isn’t the best way to bring in new customers to be returning. The selection is pretty good but overall it’s a pretty bland store, the energy isn’t anything special and the prices can be more expensive than other stores.

Beautiful little shop. It has a large book section. A decent supply of crystals and candles. They don’t carry many herbs. But everyone is friendly and helpful.

Such bad customer service I don’t know how you make any sales. Wish I could leave 0 stars! The vibes in this store are so terrible. Not once was I met with a greeting or nice gesture, and the replies from the owner to the other poor experiences on here are very telling. Take into consideration the amount of bad reviews on here all saying the same thing. Your employees attitudes suck, period.

I just left the store after going in to ask for resources and help on an incantation spell I get told it’s a liability no it’s not a liability when you are asking for advice and help in setting something up I am very just disappointed and I will never be coming back to the store for anything dealing with the occult or magic

This was my last visit to this store. I took a friend who has never been and she was not asked if she needed help. We didnt find what we were looking for until we were leaving and it was ALMOST closing time. When I asked if they could show her the stones they said they were closed. By the time she was done ringing me up, it still wasnt their closing time. I have never been treated as badly as I was in the store tonight. This WAS a good store.

If I could I would give New Age Books and Gifts more stars. It was my first time in the store. I was gifted with some beautiful Crystals, but needed cages for them. I chose this store because of the reviews. Im thankful I did! Jan and Rainy couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. By the time I left I was so excited for what I had learned. Rainy hooked me up with the cages I needed for my crystals, while Jan gave me a course of essential oil, which I was interested in. There is so much in this store, I could spend hours just browsing, and soaking up knowledge from Jan and her Associates...

I find that pretty respectable, she also helped me lick out some things that would aid me. Definitely coming back!

One of the better new age shops I’ve been to in the valley. They are knowledgeable and even offer classes on lots of different concepts. They carry just about everything from herbs to gemstones and everything in between. I love this place and definitely will come here again. It does get a bit packed at times when I came it seemed the shop filled up with other customers.. none the less a great business!

Really nice crystal collection for the area! Although some of the specimens are clearly mass produced and even some are for sure Kheops quality. Their incense stock is amazing and they have one of the largest tarot card collections I have ever seen! Also, if you are looking for good reading material, they have a pretty incredible selection. They do sell sage bundle varieties too, however, their herb assortment is minuscule. Worth the visit if you are in the area! They are super nice!

I called on Feb 21st to ask if they had magnetic hematite. I spoke with Janet who assured me they did. I explained I needed about 40 pieces for a business event happening this weekend. She advised she definitely has some in but because I needed so many she would have to get some from stock as she had just received 5 pounds, and that it would definitely be out by Friday morning so I could come by and purchase. I advised if she didn’t have it all that was ok, I would take what she had and hit up a store down too. She explained that her local vendor is in town so she will definitely have it on Friday. I arrived at the store and asked for the hematite. The two employees in the store said they didn’t have any. I advised I spoke to Janet yesterday and she assured me they did.They laughed at me.They then explained that Janet had too much going on to be reliable. The employee who came to the front to double check for me Seemed to think it was all funny until I explained why I needed it and that I was very upset. Then she managed to wipe the smile off her face and “deeply apologized.” I pointed out that I would have had time to go to another store if they had been honest but because I thought Janet sounded sincere I was now out of time.I verified that Janet is in fact the store owner and explained I would be calling to complain because they had just put me and my business in a bad spot.I have purchased sage, books, and some other items here before but definitely will NOT be going back and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to either. If she couldn’t have it out she should have said so instead of lying about it.

ONE OLDER, NOT TOO HAPPY LADY WITH BAD ENERGY DECIDED SHE WAS GOING TO FORCE ME TO PURCHASE SOMETHING THAT MY GRANDDAUGHTER TOUCHED. THIS WAS A $4.98 ITEM. Ive spent, hundreds of dollars in this store over the years ON BOOKS, CRYSTALS, STATUTES & READINGS, ETC.. I truly hope the $4.98 flute was worth the loss of two customers. This could have been handled much better.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I have tried to go.in to this store multiple times thinking something would change but it has not. I always feel very unwelcome when entering. I have purchased items here before... today I went in looking for a birthday gift for myself, walked out upset with the worst vibes. I was not acknowledged when I walked in by the lady at the counter. She had a customer she was assisting, but all customer service reps know you still acknowledge other customers. I was by the register looking at the stones, still didnt ask if I needed help or even a quick I will be with you shortly. She scheduled a reading for a 2nd customer that came in all while helping the first customer. My daughter and I walked out and not even a thank you for coming or have a nice day. Good luck to you all and your store, I would suggest improving the customer service going forward.

Ive been going to Jen Rossi store for many many years I like Jan Ross gift prices are reasonable

During this last week, we have had a lot of bad things happening and my mother and I wanted to purchase some sage to help cleanse our home. We pulled up to the shop at 4:53 to get out and grab the one items, but as we were getting out of our car one of the workers hurried to the door and locked it before we could get inside. The closing time is 5pm not 4:53pm. My mom is a regular customer and comes in at least once a week to make some purchases. The last time we came into the store, we weren’t met with any sort of greeting or welcome into the store other than being asked to put on gloves before entering.

Always a great time. Had a reiki session Yvette she was awesome.

My first time in this store was on 4/22 Tuesday. The energy in this place is AWESOME. The women who work here are very spiritual beings who put off white light and great energy. This location is a bit far from my home, but it is WORTH the drive. They have a great selection of merchandise. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Im from out of state and always search for Metaphysical shops when I travel. The first vibe when I entered the store was a very tight feeling and as I took about 4 steps in I was greeted by an older lady who didnt feel friendly at first. I was followed around by her the entire time I was there about 30 minutes. As I asked questions she warmed up but I really like to be on my own to discover the great elements of the store. Having a stranger follow me so closely gave me such an un easy feeling that I never got past the front part of the store to see what else the store had. I did spend about $60 and would have loved to discover the rest of the store but left because I felt like I was so constricted. I went on to Fantasia Crystal. Selection was great from the little bit I saw. Really to bad!

I was able to browse this spectacular store and loved it. They have every new age device you want and much much more. From on-site readings to beautiful Crystals, I really loved the variety of cleansing bundles they have here. You can buy premade or put together your own. This is the place to visit and be in awe!

I love going here for all my metaphysical needs. Everyone in the shop is so knowledgeable and if youre looking to get your cards read, both Stacey and Sarah are very gifted. Sean is wonderful for Reiki, and there are always so many wonderful sales they hold that make buying whatever you want or need very affordable. Also, I think the quality of their merchandise is very good as well. I dont feel like Im being overcharged for items I could possibly find elsewhere.

The staff was super nice! smiles in and smiles out. The woman who helped me knew exactly where everything was and I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes. I was in a hurry otherwise I would have looked around more.. because they had some great things! Dont believe everything you read because sometimes its not all accurate.. and sometimes everyone has a bad day. I felt very welcome in this store and everyone was nice. I even sent an email to the owner looking for something in the store before going and she was very helpful.
