Had to do some work on campus and thought I would swing by the Bookstore to see if I could find a Gateway t-shirt or something while I was there. Great news, they have t-shirts! And snacks. And school/office supplies. And a charging cord for my phone. They have everything. I was super impressed with their selection as well as the customer service. The staff was friendly and helpful without hovering. They asked me if there was something specific I was looking for and then let me wander around after I said I just wanted to check things out. I noticed there was a huge selection of scrubs and stethoscopes which tells me they must have a lot of medical programs at that campus. I also noticed the bookstore was clean, neat, and organized. Overall Im quite pleased with my t-shirt, charging cord, cool highlighters, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, and Reign Energy Drink. Ill definitely come back when Im at the Gateway campus again
They have friendly co-workers. However, how they manage external issues with employees is wrong. I worked there for a few days, it was supposed to be a month long job. I need a letter to help me get medical insurance. However, each person I ask tells me they cannot write that letter. And apparently, there is no phone number to call. How unprofessional is that. Each person I ask tells me they can’t, and if they can’t how come the person I previously talked to tells me they can? And once I get in contact with that person all of a sudden they can’t. I’ve been waiting for several days now. This is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend working here.
I purchased a Phy240 book and paid $213, attempted to returned the book because the intructor said we could use other phy book that was only $75. But the bookstore did not took it back and advised to comeback at the end of semester. Crazy never used the book, it was new and they bought the book back for $55. My pathophysiology book was $250 and they bought it for $35. Is crazy how much money we spend on books, and they change book every year, same stuff just new cover.. they really get us with books.
Customer Service sucks. Always get an attitude from whoever is at the desk
Straight up robbery I tell ya!!
