I love the books, but the processing, quality, and efficiency is a joke. I ordered 8 books from them. The 1st package was missing 1 out of the 4 books mailed according to what the shipment list claimed. The 2nd package was late due to the 3 books being on backorder. The 3rd package hasnt even been processed yet and it has been 3 weeks since I placed the order, and it is only supposed to have 1 book. Finally I had to call about my missing book to which I was told that it was a common problem. Now I will be waiting on a 4th package for them to resend the missing book. It would have been quicker and easier to buy off of Amazon and just directly donate money to my daughters school. I do not recommend buying books from them unless your childs school allows you to buy booksin person from the book fair hosted at the school.Such a disappointment π
I love scholastic! I am the book fair coordinator for my school and its always find to come to the warehouse to spend some of the scholastic dollars we earned. My favorite sections are the build a box and the damaged items. The damaged items are things from book fairs that kids have opened or broken. Sometimes they are not damaged at all and you get something that would cost $10+ for only $1. The staff and volunteers are always helpful and pleasant, the location is simple to find and parking is easy.
Not a review of the place itself but itβs hours. As a teacher, Iβm required to be on campus until 4PM. Online the hours were listed until 5 so I was excited after days of not having the time, to come to get some books for my students. When I arrived at 4:15, the door was locked. An employee opened the door to let me know they were closed. When I asked him about their hours, he said they closed at 4. Seriously? Very disappointing since warehouses are essentially built for schools and teachers. They should consider extending their hours so teachers who need the materials can actually have access. At the very least they should have the correct hours posted online and hours posted on the building. Will be taking my money to goodwill, Barnes and noble, and other book retailers instead.
The training for the scholastic book fair was so much fun! It was informative and our hostess did a great job at keeping us engaged. I will definently come to the next one.
Great place to purchase books at a low price! My kids are excited to come here for everytime they are having an event. The staff are very friendly and helpful!
Was here for Scholastic book fair training. Was able to visit the warehouse afterwards. Great selection of books. Awesome, friendly staff!
Maximized our funds! BOGO sale is a magical time to buy books.
Iβve been to the Scholastic Warehouse before and they have all the books you could ever want. Unfortunately, it is difficult if you work in a school to get there during business hours. When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that they closed at 3:30. She gave me a flyer telling me when would be a good time to return (May 8-18 sale). I returned to my vehicle only to realize it was 3:20. I turned around to see the receptionist getting in her vehicle. I guess they really close at 3:20. Disappointed.
Be ready to be flexible with the bogo sales- worth it for gifts for students!!
This place is soooo cool. Its a warehouse! Where you can buy books! And other things like stationary, games, and posters! And there are sales! Im grades 6-8 in my heart, so I had myself a time here.
Not quite what I expected but still a great deal. I got almost 15 books for $50. If you get a chance to go to their warehouse sale, I recommend it.
Warehouse sales in December and May. Great bargains!
I love attending their warehouse sales! They have a huge selection and great deals
