Allied Surplus is a great place to get all your camping and tactical gear that you might not find anywhere else! They have a lot of unique and necessary items for the prepper.

Nice little family owned shop with a ton of military, tactical, and survival gear. The staff has always been helpful. Ive gone there twice now for the little military flags for different branches of service for my staff that are veterans. Very cool shop!

I enjoyed browsing through the large supply, and was very pleased at the grand selection. The store personnel were great. 1 lady helped me find the last hip pack and a gentleman helped me find Military pins from Operation Desert Storm, the 100 hour War March from Saudi to Kuwait to liberate Kuwait in 1991. I will shop here again.

This place has better paracord ropes from other stores. Cant wait to go back and buy more.

They have a great selection of all types of gear. Quality products. Last visit I bought a pair of pants and a backpack for riding my motorcycle. I went down with the tactical pants I purchased from here. I slid across the pavement 40ft at 60mph and the pants held up very well only a small hole in the knee. They have a friendly helpful staff as well.

These guys saved my butt with a death and need of uniform items for burial with last minute notice on a tight timeline. Very friendly and helpful, highly recommend them!

Went in there real quick to see if they had this keychain my son likes. Rudely greeted by a bunch of awkward stares and people saying they close soon. Just wanna grab a keychain no one offered help or anything just impatient stared. They just wanted to go home and didnt want to help a customer. Lame. Never again, surprised they still exist.

Through my years of going in and out of this store, I have had nothing but amazing experience with all of the staff especially Mr. Russell. My most recent stop I had asked to speak to Mr. Russell and I was informed he no longer is with the company which is tragic. He was very passionate and knowledge about the product and in history something you dont see in the younger generations. Not once did I see Mr. Russell not helping a customer, he is a very wise and has great potentials as a true leader. Best of luck in whatever course you take in life.

They provide a wide selection of services and equipment.Most importantly you can get name tape here.They have lots of new and used goods, and I always shop here when Im looking for a new backpack or camel pack.My son wanted a camo backpack for school, and I got him fully decked out in one trip

I was very impressed with their wide selection in their new location. I came today looking for canopy fittings and surprisingly they had even more options than I would have imagined. I will certainly be back as I didnt even get the opportunity to look all around the store. I highly recommend you stop by just to see what they have.

The young lady and young man that worked today was amazing! he tried very hard to get me a jacket similar to the one that I wanted that was quite expensive, 511 you need to lower your prices LOLof course my sizing is strange so nothing else worked I ended up paying the $200 Lord love him he tried real hard to help save me money! Nice selection of durable clothes and accessories. Will be back again!

Contacted them last week, and spoke to owner, I assume, about looking at some gear I had that I wanted to get rid of. I was told to call back Friday and we would arrange a time to bring it in on Friday. I called Friday but was told the owner was out of town. I called back Tuesday morning and was told owner will be at the store for 20 more minutes then would be back at 2pm for the rest of the day. I said I would come at 3pm and the lady told me that was perfect. I loaded up my 3 military bags and large metal cruise box and drove 35 minutes to the store. Went in, and guess what? Was told the owner will not be here. I explained the situation and they eventually contacted him on his cell. The lady told me that she could go through my stuff, let him know what Ive got, and hed give a price over the phone.Not the kind of service I was expecting. Will not do business with them again and dont recommend them for buying gear / equipment from you. Was also told what items he didnt need or want, so I didnt bring them. But at the store I was told something different.Aside from that, the store seemed like it might be decent to buy stuff from.

My family has been visiting Allied Surplus since we moved to Phoenix in the mid 90s. I literally grew up knowing it as THE military surplus store, and would actually get mixed up looking for it, never remembering if it was on Dunlap or Northern after they first moved locations. When I separated from the military in ‘12 I actually sold my uniforms to them, and picked up a few small TA-50 items I was missing and had to turn in. The staff then was so helpful. Fast forward to 2017, and I see Allied has moved locations and is right by my house! I excitedly went in and spoke with the owner, just looking for a part time job, something to get me out of the house a little more since I had been a stay at home mom for a few years. I had an interview a few months later, when business started picking up at the new location.Having been incredibly blessed to get to know the owners (nicest people you’ll ever meet, truly) and the awesome staff, I can say that the people here are 100% genuine and want to help every customer through the doors to the best of their ability. When I was working here, it felt like we were speaking with old friends with each new customer we’d meet. The shared military and civil service ties, love of outdoors, and down to earth demeanor of most customers made it so easy to really feel like a connection was formed and allowed the employees help create real value in each visit- finding and recommending items that would best for the person’s needs.While I don’t work here any longer, it is not for lack of loving this store, rather an opportunity that arose for me to pursue my dream career. I still recommend more than words can express that anyone visit Allied, there are so many useful and downright neat items available (seriously, putting out new inventory always felt like finding treasure. Constantly, they get the coolest stuff). The people who work here are genuine and helpful, and they see you as a person and not just a customer. I am just lucky that I got to be a part of it for the brief time I was :)

Great selection of tactical gear

Ordered name tapes for my daughter Civil Air Patrol uniform. Asked if they would mail to me as I live 50 miles away. Offered to pay & was told that there wouldnt be a charge. Was called & told that they were in & ready for pick up. I explained they were supposed to be mailed. After their research, I was told they would be mailed out that same day. After not receiving them in the mail, I called to inquire and was told I didnt pay $1.50 for mailing. Mailed them $1.50 this date & will see how long it takes to receive. This transaction has cost my daughter missing a meeting & has cost me extra time to take the uniform back to the seamstress to sew more patches on.Had issues with their Mesa, AZ location as well, so I see now that customer service, or lack if is part of the training with Allied. Placing the blame on the customer is not good.Will now either order from Vanguard, or when we have large orders drive to Flagstaff or Yuma.

Prices are ok. Some of the employees are people I wouldnt want representing my business. Over the weekend the young lady seemed like she really didnt want to be there. The young man was awkward to customers, rude to the other employees and generally not someone I would look forward to dealing with in the future. The older guy seemed like he was still getting the hang of things. He was however really friendly and seemed to be trying to understand the systems just needed more help. I actually felt bad for him the way the young guy was talking to him.Thanks for the reply. You offering a job? If so we could discuss what youre looking for.

Has every branch uniforms. Currently pattern is the same price as on post. Not many average sizes, mostly small. The gentlemen inside are very friendly

If ya want true military quality or just some tough durable work clothing. Still have some real used military clothing and provisions. Far less than big sporting goods store

Visited the Phoenix store yesterday, purchased a high quality paracord bracelet.The gentleman wasn’t too friendly, but the lady was amazing. They had a lot of great stuff, and she went out of her way to talk to the customers and make them feel welcome, like friends.Very highly recommend this location. I’ll also be checking out their Mesa location at my earliest opportunity.

I went into their store to sell some equipment from the military. I had roughly seven bags worth of equipment. The owner offered me $750. I said no and sold my stuff on offer up. Sold three items in two days for $1500. Don’t sell to them. They will rip you off.

Amazing selection but my only problem was when I bought a helmet. I saw a 1954 helmet and asked the employee if it was a M1 helmet. He looked at it and said it was american. After getting home, my friend said it was not an M1 and it was a french helmet. I used internet sources and confirmed that I was lied to by the employee

Mixture of everything you need, but the cashier was all good to take my money but when I asked about product she was taken by her cell phone and couldn’t put it down to answer she just said “no we don’t have anything like that while looking at her phone”......Shame too, I was going to spend some money in there too.... won’t be back, stay away unless you want horrible customer service.....

Decent military surplus store. I was able to obtain some needed items. The staff isnt very talkative, but they are helpful. The fact that the staff are armed puts me at ease considering the neighborhood. My only real gripe is that I didnt see any MREs, but I might have missed them, as I was in a hurry.

This is a great place to buy surplus military goods as well as new tactical gear including clothing, Molly eq, boots, and plate carriers. They have a limited selection of ammunition and holsters available too.My favorite items here would have to be the awesome bumper stickers, patches, and stickers available.
