Thanks to Stacy Fagan and team for making the transition to our new vehicle easy and quick. The support staff have been amazing, pleasant, professional and very helpful! We highly recommend this dealership for all your mobility needs.
Great dealership! Large selection of wheelchair vans, they take trade ins on any vehicle, have easy financing and a friendly, knowledgeable staff that will find the van you need in a no pressure environment! If youre shopping for a wheelchair van, this is where you should go!
Most pleasant, easiest experience Ive ever had purchasing a vehicle. Thanks to Stacy and the rest of the staff who made this possible!
Best service, hands down! Our first point of contact was Stacy, she was just a breath of fresh air! Stacy really went above and beyond to help us shop for our very first wheelchair van. So very informative and really had the heart to help us look for what we needed and wanted. We ended up working with both her and one of the managers, who really took every step to help us find exactly the right vehicle. Even the finance department was great to work with Nathan did an awesome job keeping us in the loop and was on top of everything. Nathan also made sure we had the best rates and lowest monthly payment he could get us. Highly recommend them, great service awesome people!! We highly recommend AMS Vans Phoenix!! Their team is amazing!!
AMS VANS is great for service. Reasonable on cost, very professional & friendly both in service and front desk. Loved this group & will recommend them to everyone I can, both for service & for new purchases. You can NOT go wrong dealing with Rudy & Cindy.
I dont even know where to start.. this place is amazing! I called a month or so before I was even ready to purchase a van and Stacy was super patient with me, took the time to walk through every option they had, and answered every question I had (I had lots of questions haha). I can honestly say I do did not have a single problem with them because she made sure to stay on top of everything and communicated with me throughout the entire process.
Update: Im very happy with how AMS handled this issue. I was contacted directly and received an apology. Rudy made sure that I was taken care of and that he would take care of me on my schedule. Im very happy to say that as of Wednesday, I am safely and comfortably able to drive my truck. I honestly never knew how well my trucks brakes worked until I drove my truck with pedal extensions. They look great and best of all, I dont have to sit on top of the steering wheel to reach them.Rudy accepted full responsibility for the issue and took it as an opportunity to learn and improve so that my issue wont be anyone elses in the future. Very professional way to retrospect and improve.Original:Its really sad but I have to give them one star. I have been trying for a month or more to get someone to tell me if they can help with pedal extensions for my vehicle. Out of a dozen or so times calling, I always get told that someone will call me back. Not once has anyone ever called me back. Im truly not sure whats going on or why its so hard to get someone from AMS to help me. Maybe someone that reads this can refer me to a company that has the time and ability to help me with pedal extensions?
I drove 2,000 miles just to meet Rudy. I was stuck in my 2016 Honda Odyssey VMI conversion van. My ramp wouldn’t open and I was far away from my NC home. I called VMS Vans and Rudy said come on by. I did and twenty minutes later I was back on my cross-country trip! Thanks Rudy for the awesome and timely service!
We we so please with AMS from the first phone call and talked to Stacy to visiting and looking at vehicles to their delivering the vehicle to our home. Stacy was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. She listened to our needs and followed through on each of our requests. Nathan in finance was also helpful and responded quickly. Thank you to all
Stacy immediately responded to my inquiries wgeneral info about van conversions (I was purchasing a wheelchair – equipped vehicle for the first time), potential vehicles that would meet my needs, and within days, I was at the dealership test driving a vehicle. She helped me to understand the financial considerations, and made the purchase process so easy. And she personally delivered the vehicle to our home, demonstrated the appropriate processes for loading, securing and off-loading my husband‘s wheelchair, and features of the van, and even took a quick drive around the neighborhood with my husband and me. And her follow up on a few minor issues after the delivery was exceptional. Thank you Stacy, and AMS Vans - Sales, for making our major acquisition so easy!
I did not by from AMS because they didnt have exactly what I was looking for in a van, but must say I had one of the most positive sales/customer service experiences ever! Gary was AMAZING!!! His follow-up was consistent without being intrusive. If he didnt have the answer to a question he promised to get back to me and was always prompt in doing. Gary is gracious, informative, and friendly and I regret that we werent able to buy from him because he truly earned our business.
When it comes to being parents of a handicapped child, things become overwhelming quickly and as the years go by, it doesnt get much better. One of the aspects of this life is choosing whom you partner with to accomplish the needs and acquire the equipment this path requires. I simply cannot recommend AMS enough for any mobility needs. We brought our 2019 Ford Transit to them in Atlanta to have a lift and tie-downs added for our sons upcoming new wheelchair. Allen in sales and Dan and his team in the equipment division were amazing to work with and they got us in and out within a week just as they promised to be able to do. They have been nothing but responsive to questions and follow up information after the sale. In a world where its common to find companies absent after the initial work is complete, the folks at AMS have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. One of the people I talked with (sorry I am bad with names) while at their office made a statement that to most people a conversion like this (or a purchase of an already converted van) is about simply transportation and this attitude can be seen in other companies I have dealt with. She went on to state that for the team at AMS this kind of conversion was about giving families freedom. And that folks is what it means to us. I am glad to have found a partner I look forward to working with over the years to provide every possible freedom to my family.
The employees at AMS Mobility in Phoenix are the kind of folks that make you appreciate every visit. My wife and I have been going to AMS since arriving in Arizona six years ago. Rudy Quiada, Service Manager, has gone above and beyond believable in helping us with a collision repair that damaged the auto-door openers, the folding platform lift, and more. Rudy is so knowledgeable about the vans and modifications they sell and modify; in forty years I have not experienced the reliability and direction he politely extends to all.Randy has secured vehicle rentals (Toyota) while we have been wo our van, and very caring by handling all payment issues with the repair facility and out-of-pocket moments as theyve occurred. Stacy, Sales Manager, has run the numbers on a lowered-floor conversion and has been so helpful in forecasting how to get there info and advice.I highly recommend AMS Mobility for their quality products, service, and caring combination of people dedicated to being the Best in the Industry!
Awesome place, great hospitality, amazing staff. Very knowledgeable to all mobility needs! Hands down amazing!!! Thanks AMS for tanking care of me. Definitely coming back for any mobility needs.
Amazing amount of work to convert a van to be fully functional for wheelchair usage. Jose gave a very educating tour. The young lady at the reception desk was very happy and friendly. If you own a VMI Conversion van and are in the Phoenix area, give them a call to schedule a tour.
The best buying experience I ever had. We highly recommend this company. Our experience with the sales person Stacy Fagan was exceptional, she is very helpful and really knows her stuff. Everyone here is very professional and helpful.
We had such a great experience at AMS Vans. We didnt feel like we were being pressured or pushed. Stacy and Randy were so wonderful. They gave us an incredible deal to help us get the right vehicle for our needs within our price range.
First time I was ever treated so nice.from the time I called to the time I return the vehicle I have no complaints but compliments and I intend to use them again. They are the best.
VMI has a great selection of mobility vans. Just wish they could offer a better way to finance to veterans that either have no credit, credit issues or bad credit. Their vans are the top of the line in my book.
“This is a really nice van you have,” the technician told me. “It’s in really good shape.”“Thanks,” I told him.I was here at the Glass Doctor in California’s Motherlode to get my windshield repaired after an unfortunate encounter with a pebble kicked up by a gravel truck on highway 99.I’m getting a little used to people telling me this about our van because it is nice. Thanks to the nice folks, and especially Gary Richards, at AMS Vans.We had decided that, after moving to Northern California, we would look for a new wheelchair adapted van or a van that could easily be adapted. This is no small feat as new vans with wheelchair lifts or ramps can easily exceed $50,000.It is a process to be taken with care and time, almost like buying a house because that’s how important and expensive it can be.We already had a 2006 Ford E-150 van that has served us very well. If I could, I’d buy another but the Ford Motor Company stopped making them after the 2014 model year. Too bad, because this van is built like a tank. It still runs great but is getting a bit long in the tooth. We should start looking for a replacement while it is not urgent.Looking here in California was like being Goldilocks...a van we drove two hours to see in Chico was way too small. Others were way too big. Those in between seemed flimsily built. Where can we find on that was just right?I decided to try and find a used Ford E-series van with low miles. Unfortunately, all I could find here had way too many miles (over 100,000 in most instances) and were priced too high.Somehow, I found an ad for AMS Vans in my Facebook newsfeed and clicked. They had a selection of vans that seemed to be in our price range and in good shape but there were no showrooms in our area. If I were to deal with them, it would be pretty much totally buying a vehicle online, a daunting prospect.Holding my breath, I clicked on the link for a 2014 Ford E-150, already converted with only 13,500 miles on it, for a little over $30,000 - a very good price compared to the vans here in California.I talked to Gary Richards who assured me that the van has been inspected, refreshed, and was more like a certified used car. Also, if purchased and did not like it or feel comfortable upon delivery, I could just say “no” and they’d take it back, no questions asked and at no charge. There was also a 1,000 mile/30 day warranty where they would fix anything I was unhappy with during the shakedown period.Still, I have to admit, I was not entirely comfortable buying a car online, sight-unseen but, after searching for four months here, I could not find anything close to what I was looking for.I’d have to pay to ship the van from Georgia (around $2k) and would have the daunting task of licensing an out-of-state van here with the California DMV but I still would save upwards of $20,000 compared to prices here.I went ahead and bought it.Doing a little paper work over the phone with Gary and providing proof that I could buy the van (we paid cash but you could also show you’ve got financing) was all we needed to get the ball rolling. We were going to be in Canada for a few weeks so Gary was flexible in holding off delivery until we returned...I didn’t want the 30 day warranty period to be mostly useless while we were out of town. The van was delivered right when they said it would be. The delivery driver took me for a test drive before I accepted it. I handed him a check and he handed me the title and keys.Four months and 2,000 miles later, we have had no problems. Not a one (apart from that windshield ding). It’s been a joy to drive, very comfortable, and meets our needs superbly. If you’re shopping for an accessible vehicle, I recommend you do not buy anything until you at least see what AMS can offer you. It was a very easy, pleasant, and...in the end...a very satisfying car buying experience.
The more often we see the things around us - even the beautiful and wonderful things - the more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: the flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds - even mobility. VMI offers that to people, and feeling like your living life again is a great feeling!
AMS Vans does a great job of supporting their customers.
They had free snacks and drinks like what else can be better
Great store, Helpful employees, bought my Van there 5 years ago, Great service department.
Nice mobility van selection, friendly helpful staff.
I am writing this as i sit here waiting for my modifications and repairs to be done. They have been so kind and friendly. Came up with a better less expansive option to my problem. I will be working with them from now on.
Everyone here is fantastic & very courteous. I would highly recommend them, if youre in the market for a handicap van.
