Ive been dealing with Ethan. On the first day of filling out an application on a vehicle he was prompt at getting my questions answered and getting my info sent to their lenders. After the first hour of day 1 he ghosted me. All I wanted was an update or an answer. Its extremely irritating dealing with such unprofessional staff. It takes 2 seconds to reply to an email, send a text or give a quick call back. I have a busy schedule myself and dont have time to be on the phone all day. All I wanted was a quick response. And if you didnt have one at the time, just say that instead of ignoring me. Its going on 5 days of silence so I dont really know how much more time was needed. Ive called 4 times, and left messages with his coworkers that said they would have him call me back. I have sent 2 emails. All ignored. Is it that hard to just reply? Its like pulling teeth when you ask for transparency these days. You costed me multiple hard inquiries on my credit report for absolute zero reason apparently, of course Im going to be upset.
Trisha was great and very easy to work with. The no hassle, no pressure style of car sales is very relaxing and aids making a decision on which car to purchase. We walked away with a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT after Trisha showed us five different cars. The other staff at this location on Sunday were all very nice and helpful also! Seems consistent with all the BBB complaints. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!I have an active complaint with the BBB and I will post this review on all the hertz dealership until this is resolved.** I want my outstanding car loan paid off plus reimbursement for the hundreds of dollars of interest iv been forced to pay.

This place was so close to being a true winner it is sick, but unfortunately, their close out paper side transaction took the train right over a cliff.I worked out a OK enough deal on a new vehicle and decided to go ahead ... Heres what happened:The purchase was for a company owned vehicle, NOT a personal vehicle. You would think that was the first company vehicle they had ever handled. They needed corporate documents to make sure it was truly a corporate purchase. I advised them that all they had to do was go online to collect my corporate papers papers ... except they couldnt pull it off. I had to drive all the way home, down load and print the required papers.Next, I had just renewed my tags on a trade in vehicle and asked if Hertz would apply for a tag refund ..... Once again, they couldnt pull it off so I had to take care of it myself ..... Which I did.They were really stumped on the purchase (A cash purchase from beginning to end) being a business purchase vs. a personal purchase, so they wanted both a business and a personal paper chase because thats What corporate Hertz wanted it.The title had my company name misspelled and it remains misspelled to this day. Id go ask them to correct their error but it was just to difficult.Hertz as a business needed desperate help in learning how to manage the required paper work because right now, they truly do suck.Thanks for reading

I bought a car on June 15 2020. I still dont have my plates. I have contacted hertz many times and all they say is covid and mvd is behind. I contacted mvd, they have no record they received anything from them. I do a title search for my vin number and none exists. My extension expired 9/15 and they told me they wouldnt give me an extension and just to drive on an expired temp tag and to wait for plates. I still dont have my plates. They are no help at all. They have no problem charging you fees for them registering the cars for you, but apparently it doesnt happen. So I am stuck here unregistered with no solution. I finally decided to make a review because this has one big giant joke of a process and they are of no help.

This place has a good variety of vehicles in their inventory, and if you dont see what youre looking for, wait a few days and youll have new choices. All the staff are helpful, but Dennis Farrells the best! He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful with us as we came back time after time over 3 weeks, trying a lot of different vehicles to find exactly what we wanted and needed. We went to a lot of other places to look for vehicles too, but the staff and definatly the prices could NOT compare. You dont have to haggle over pricing and theres NO sales pressure AT ALL. Dennis Farrell knows his cars, and you have to have experience like his working with so many makes and models of vehicles. We LOVE the car we bought! Had a great experience with my salesman Brian Cruz. I was in tremendous need of a new car and he made it easy for me. They have good cars at good prices! I traded in my beat down 1999 Lexus and left with a 2017 Nissan Versa SV with 43,000 miles. The process didnt take long and I was able to finance and get a GREAT rate over 72 months as first-time buyer. Overall, I feel like it was a win-win situation. I left feeling like I got the best deal I could get.
I am posting this almost a year after the fact, but I should have posted right away (maybe it actually is better that its a year later). I worked with Joe W., whom I found to be extremely upfront and no-nonsense. My wife and I got a great deal on a 2013 Kia Optima that is chugging along wonderfully. I am very happy with the deal we got, and was especially please that Joe was willing to give us a rough out-the-door price over the phone because we were driving up from Tucson. Car is great - love it! Id recommend dealing with Joe and this dealership, and I definitely recommend the Optima.
Trying to reach the finance department has been a 2 week, 8+ voicemails, 5+ sticky notes placed on the desk ordeal. Dont do anything with they dont give a single care in the world after the sale.

Achieving a reasonable rate is possible if you continue to watch offers from completing companies. Hertz Customer Service Reps were very friendly. Shuttle driver had a full shuttle but still managed to help everyone with their bags...and he did it with a smile.Quick and easy return process. I was on the shuttle within 3 minutes after pulling in.Great experience!

Horrible service when it comes to problems with the vehicle. They say theyll fix it and then give you a runaround for two months. Incredibly rude once they find out your calling with a problem and not to buy a car. Sadly I now regret buying my vehicle from here.
I went here when deciding to buy my first car. They didnt try to pressure me into purchasing when I wanted a couple days to think about it, and they were really helpful throughout the process. The environment felt much more relaxed than when Ive accompanied people to car dealerships.
I would not recommend going here to buy a car. The sales people know nothing about cars or want to help you. I took a test drive and the sales rep didnt put a license plate on the car. Luckily I wasnt pulled over. The sales rep couldnt answer any questions about the car and acted put out that I was bothering with questions. After we decided on a car their manager, David, was very rude and condescending. I dont have great credit so that is why I was shopping there. He tried to give us the highest percentage rate he could find and tried to justify it by stating it is only $10 more per month. When I asked why he said it was my fault since my credit was low. Then he tried to sell me a maintenance plan for $2500 for 4 years. When I said no he said you dont know how to fix this car even though I just told him I work on cars all the time. The guy was a jerk so I left. Then went to the Camelback branch who were professional, courteous, and didnt disrespect me. I bought from Camelback at 1.5% lower rate and did get the maintenance plan for $1800 for 7 years. DO NOT SHOP AT THE HERTZ ON BELL ROAD.

I am a repeat customer that originally purchased from the McDowell Rd location 8 months ago and went back there based on my previous great experience. This time, I tried to work with Art (Arturo), who gave me the typical used car salesman runaround and arrogant attitude. In addition, he refused to apply my Hertz Loyalty Discount for being a repeat customer. Extremely disappointed and frustrated, I left the McDowell location and decided to try the Bell Rd. location. WOW - what a difference!!! I was greeted by Dana Williamson, who quickly got me set up for a test drive. We loved the car and the price, and decided to buy it. Dana got our paperwork underway, confirmed the pricing (and my discount), and got us in to Finance in less than an hour, despite multiple customers buying cars. David Espinosa in Finance got all of our paperwork processed with no games or pressure - a true, honest professional!!! Scott, the GM, stopped in to make sure we were being taken care of and everything was going smoothly. All in all, a STELLAR experience. If youre looking for a great deal on a pre-owned car, with no high pressure sales tactics or BS, the Hertz Bell Rd location is THE place to go!!!! Thank you Dana, David, and Scott!! Great car....good price...no pressure buying, over all a good place to buy....BUT beware of their extended warranties. Mine was $2200.00 and it was suppose to be bumper to bumper, 5 years 60k miles. Then you get home and read it and it covers some basic stuff...no electronics coverage and that was why I bought it.... cheaper, better coverage policies are available...
I visited Midway Nissan on Saturday, was there several hours, was bombarded by 6 different employees trying to talk me into financing that I expressed several times I did not want. I left angry and offended. I went to Hertz on Sunday to see a vehicle I was interested in from their website. It was a very calm and friendly environment. I dealt with one person (Dan Turner) throughout the whole process other than signing my contract docs. Dan answered any questions that I had, provided all documents I wanted to see to give me peace of mind and I was out the door within a couple of hours in my new vehicle. I cant imagine ever going to a dealership again. Thanks Dan!

Very nice! I had to rent a car after an auto accident and had no problems. Nicki was wonderful. They had a car right away, sent a Lyft driver for me and I was on my way.
I wanted to purchase the vehicle in the showroom. A guy told me it was sold but they would call if something changed. Two weeks later it’s still on their lot and website, with no call. Glad I didn’t wait for the call and opted to go purchase from another Hertz.

This was my first time buying a car and my experience at Hertz was an enjoyable one. Joe Wintergalen was very helpful and friendly. There was no pressure to buy a car and he let me take a few hours looking at a couple cars that I was interested in. He was available to answer any questions I had about the cars and pulled the car history reports for them. The whole process was very laid-back and stress-free. Once I decided on a car, the financing process was also very stress-free, and there was no pressure to buy any extras or warranties. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend skipping the dealerships altogether and going to Hertz instead when looking for your next used car!

This place definitely earned my respect and Im happy I came here for a vehicle. I had a easy no hassle buying experience with Jeff back in August. He was a straight shooter, no lies just tell you what you need. Me and my girlfriend here in December decided the car we bought was good but we would rather have a truck so when trading it in the Carfax came back showing the title as branded (Hertz doesnt sell branded titles, only clean). So we were upset and went into the office. They remembered us and were surprised at the news but they got on it immediately and got the clerical error fixed within 2 days from us telling them and I was able to trade it in and get my full trade in value to our new vehicle. These guys are no BS! If youre looking for a car then I highly recommend...wouldve bought my truck from them too but they dont get truck inventory. :( But for cars this place is amazing! Definitely appreciate these guys!

Ive had the biggest nightmare with the car i got from them. Havent even had it 1 month. 1st it was the tire rods. Then the batterie that was new and was made in march of 2018 it went out. Then a few days later both wheel bearings needed replaced. Then shortly after tht found out the car has 2 major oil leaks. The warranty people gave the guy at chevy a hard.time to even do the work under the warranty. Ima be honest if u come to them please be careful on what you buy and please have somone look at the car other then there guys. I hope no one goes thru this. I will not be returning here i will.also not recommend this place.

Purchased a used 2016 audi a-3 from hertz used car sales on bell road in phoenix, AZ. purchased this car sight unseen, Hertz Certified used car sales warranty included. The car arrived with a deep cut on the sidewall. Hertz manager Scott has promised to replace the tire, and i will adjust my yelp rating as things will develop; will update my post when things happen.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Am happy to update my Audi a3 purchase review. Hertz has paid to replace the defective tire and am very happy with the Audi and hertz customer service. Hertz business manager Scott Z doesnt mess around; he wanted to get this issue taken care of right away and make me a potential future customer. bts, this is my second Hertz used car purchase. Pro tip-- check that used car registration is current if you are purchasing in-state; make sure the bill of sale doesnt add back registration and late fees. Final Paperwork should not include bringing registration current if you have to pay for new out of state registration (meaning dont pay car registration twice because the car moves from one state to another)

I was happy with the purchase of my Chrysler 200 at this location until they called me to take me out of the sale. I got the car on Thursday and 24hrs later back at Hertz cause of a knocking noise. They told me it was a power steering issue. They told me no problem they will fix it and they should since the warranty kicked in. I got a call on Saturday morning saying they want to unwind me from the deal because they refuse to fix the issue. They then proceeded to tell me if I still wanted the car I would have to fix the problem myself. They seemed to be very frantic to get me out of this vehicle. Now one of two things, either they under priced the car online, or there was alot more mechanicaly wrong and was a safety issue. I know it had nothing to do with the banks I have excellent credit. This was such a shady and upsetting ordeal. Beware of rental cars...

The sales person was very kind and helpful. They gave me a rate for a car loan, and said they couldnt do any better. I shopped around, came back and all of a sudden, they could beat that rate. I ended up buying a Kia Sportage, because the rate did end up being very good. A week after buying the vehicle, the check engine light came on. Luckily it was still under Kias manufacturer warranty, so it did not cost anything. Apparently, the Hertz limited warranty did not cover the accelerator sensor, and they did not cover the cost of a rental car. A Hertz company couldnt cover a rental car for a week after their car had a check engine light on after one week? That was very disappointing.

I search Kelly Blue book to find the price for a used Toyota Yaris and they had a search link to cars for sale from dealers in the area and I found Hertz there . Their price for the Yaris was at the low end of the Kelly blue book and the car was in fantastic shape. All other places had the same car for $1,500 to $2000 more . After a test drive and was ready to buy they let me take it to my mechanic to look it over and he gave me the thumbs up.Salesperson Joe Wintergalen was very professional and the most important part was that he was not pushy. he did not pressure me to buy the car. he did not call me that same night or the night after pressuring me to buy. He also said to give Hertz a chance to finance and they could match or better my bank and he came thru with better results then my bank did. My best car buying experience so farTheir office is very plain but clean. I guess to keep overhead down and if thats what it takes to get great prices Im all for it
