Good food. I do wish they served breakfast later than 10:30. Fun ice cream options too. I know everyone is nuts about the breakfast burritos but I recommend the breakfast sandwich instead. The burritos can be a bit dry - not much cheese in there and missing a creamy element. Some vegan sour cream and more cheese inside would go a long way.
Upon entering Namis I was ready to get my sugar fix on and NO THEY DID NOT disappoint!! The whole menu looks awesome but I chose the Chai Tiramasu and the Yankee doodle which are snicker doodle cookie sandwiches that smell just like Fresh Popcorn. Friendly and Fast service on top of that. Come here to get your sugar fix guilt free and save the animals !!! Yes to Nami Vegan Sweets
August 28th, 2021:As delicious as the food is for breakfast, the portions and service vary each time. I called today before 10:30am and was placed on hold only to be told they won’t accept further breakfast orders. I inquired the policy I was aware of for phone orders by 10:30AM, customers were still able to place breakfast orders. I was then placed on hold again to eventually be told they’ll make an exception for me (10:31AM by this time - please note after on hold for multiple minutes). The special of the day was out of stock so that was disappointing by itself. The food received was underwhelming and not comparable to past experiences. The portions were cold, small, and didn’t include the sides of hot sauce that comes with each order. In addition, placing extra ketchup packets that weren’t requested to increase the weight of a side order of potatoes is appalling.Overall, I would be weary to recommend anyone to order breakfast orders at this establishment after 10:15am. The employees do not seem to treat your food with care.UPDATE:September 11th, 2021:Please see the noticeable difference between the online advertised special and what was received.Tried to give Nami breakfast another shot with their French toast special. Called by 9:30AM to be safe to access the special item. Unfortunately, I received a burnt order that tastes burnt and soggy. It’s disgusting. I don’t understand the lack of consistency at this point with the staff. Especially on a Saturday/weekend morning. Please be weary ordering breakfast from here as it won’t be the same every time and might be prepared poorly in the process…
The country burrito was pretty good, but thought maple syrup was a little weird for that type of burrito. I will return tho. Plenty of good looking stuffs
Amazing burritos and coffee! We come here about once a month since moving here and love it every time 🥰 Ooh and the donuts, just MMM 🙌
One of my favorite vegan places for breakfast in the valley. I’ve been to this location about 7 or 8 times and the bagel breakfast sandwich has never let me down! Certainly my favorite item on their menu !
If youre lactose intolerant, this is the best place in the Phoenix area to get soft serve ice cream. Lots of gluten-free options for mix-ins and other baked goods too! So good!!!
Nami was a little vegan slice of heaven! All of the desserts looked amazing and they definitely seemed popular with a lot of people and a lot of reviews. We had the blueberry donut, it for sure tasted like added artificial blueberry flavor which was a little disappointing, but thats just my personal opinion on sweet treats, nevertheless it was phenomenal! Very moist and not too sweet.
This was our go to vegan breakfast place while visiting! Gluten free chocolate zebra donut was to die for. Breakfast potatoes were probably the best Ive had ever. Acai bowls were absolutely delicious. Thank you so much Nami!
Best vegan ice cream around! Vanilla ice cream and strawberries is my go-to! Seriously delicious.
Hands down BEST vegan desserts in Arizona that Ive tried!! The tSoy nami specials are my favorite vegan ice creams Ive ever had. Period. The birthday cake one and pumpkin pie shakes are amazing. Donuts are amazing, brownies and cookies are top notice. Vegan breakfast burrito is the best Ive ever had!! Not a single bad thing to say. I only wish they offered breakfast burritos past 10:30am
We were excited to stop here for vegan ice cream after our lunch next-door. They have a variety of pastry options and their coffee looks great. Coming from New York, we compared their ice cream’s to the Dairy Queen blizzards. We love them. I got the coffee Coco Loco and my boyfriend got the s’more’s. Both were outstanding and we got the swirl and vanilla ice cream. This place is very reasonably priced especially compared to New York. Everything tasted fresh and we will make sure to stop by again before we leave Phoenix. If you’re vegan and craving A Mc flurry or a blizzard this is the place for you. Truly fulfills childhood memories.
I had a bagel sandwich and a donut and both were incredible!
Great treat for dairy free ice cream. We have a few dairy intolerant people in our family and it’s nice to find a treat that everyone enjoys and does not care that it is dairy free. There is such a good amount of mix ins in the ice cream that it makes it so good. There is not any indoor seating because of the pandemic, but we were able to get a seat outside. It’s on a busy road so it isn’t calm and the parking lot is confusing to navigate, note those things still make it worth the visit. Highly recommend as a great dairy free treat!
I love this place! It popped up when I was searching for vegan soft serve and im so happy that it did. I ordered multiple flavors, as well as breakfast, and drinks from here, and have not been disappointed!
This place is cool, all vegan and they even have gluten free treats. The gf vegan cheesecake was so good!
Soooo good! I ordered a vanilla milkshake and asked for toasted marshmellow syrup to be added. Try it! I also ordered a tsmores. It has mini marshmellows and chunks of graham crackers. Check out their seasonal lucky charms milkshake on St Patricks day. Its next door to Green New American restaurant. Both are vegan. Outdoor seating is available.
The French toast is excellent, thankfully it not GF, the Whip on top is not great, it’s some coconut substitute that doesn’t compliment the dish. The Chilaquiles were somewhat bland minus the sauce, but mixed with the potatoes and tofu scramble was the right way to go.35min wait for food and in line but it was okay in the end. But just okay, nothing exceptional or novel.
Mind blowing amazing every time! The new soynami creations are incredible
Overpriced, small location, slow moving line, but friendly smiling employees. We tried the a couple donuts, cold brew, and a ‘Sinamon’ roll, the total was 19$ and change. Way to overpriced for what it is.The donuts we did not enjoy, the were very dense and not much flavor, they need to be lighter with more flavor. The cold brew tasted watered down. The Sinamon roll was the best thing we had. It is their version of a cinnamon roll. There was the right amount of frosting, and ingredients, to give it enough flavor that it was enjoyable. This is the only thing I might ever return to this location for. They did have some other interesting things on the menu that would be fun to try, but at the prices here and the overall experience, not sure I would return to try them.
The BEST vegan breakfast in town. Follow it up with an amazing ice cream treat and youve got one of the best meals in town!
Always the place in Phoenix for Vegan Desserts. The soft serve is pretty much identical to regular ice cream. Place can be somewhat crowded at times but well worth the wait!
This place is a wonderful indulgence! I love that its right next door to Green so Im easily able to grab lunch/dinner and then dessert. Its a small shop but the selection is very diverse. As someone who lives in Texas with very few vegan options available within walking distance its always a pleasure to be in Phoenix on business to stop here.
Delicious vegan ice cream. Tasted like the real thing. Great service and really practiced Covid-19 safety. Very impressive.
My girlfriend and I visited Phoenix from out of town, and Nami was so good that we went there 3 times in 2 days. Their breakfasts were all awesome, especially the biscuits and gravy. And their Acai breakfast is huge! We also got their Smores soft serve, so good. I only wish we had time to try everything on the menu.
My husband and I ordered a 1/2 sheet horchata cake for our wedding. I am the only vegan in my family. The cake was loved by all!! Thank you so much for making our special day even sweeter 😁
Whenever we travel to Phx two of our favorite vegan spots are Nami and Greens American Vegetarian Restaurants. Nami is good for breakfast, brunch, deserts, ice cream and all kinds of delicious pastries all vegan. I have to spend at least an hour or two to work this food off. Its so good that I cant wait to move here just to eat here once a week. ITS THE BEST.
Amazing vegan sweets!! Definitely will be back
Love the big ole burrito and the NEW Breki sandwich too, which is gluten free!
Excellent vegan ice-cream with fruity and sweet flavors to choose from
Absolutely amazing vegan ice cream and pastries! Staff is super friendly and even though it is hot outside, I don’t mind waiting in line to order!
Meat Free Goodness! Wendys Pickle is BAE
Great little spot! Friendly service and loved the soft serve with all the mix ins.
I went to Nami for breakfast and got the big ole’ breakfast burrito which is tofu scramble, seasoned seitan steak, melty ”cheddar cheese” & homestyle potatoes in a toasty flour tortilla with a side of salsa. When they say big they mean it because it’s very filing and so good. I especially enjoy the seitan steak it is seasoned perfectly. It’s my go to when I have breakfast at Nami. I also got the white chocolate raspberry donut which was okay. Lastly the Nami Cake which was very good.
Great tasting food and always great service. I do have to be honest and say for being the second order of the morning at 7am, I had to wait almost 30 minutes for an acai bowl to be done. I think thats a bit too long in my opinion.
Delicious vegan soft serve ice cream! Many different flavor combinations and you can choose vanilla, chocolate, or swirl 🙂
I love Namis they have the best vegan burritos and donuts and coffee
I was really excited to come here after a long day at work. My daughter is a new vegan and I hoped shed find a pastry or treat that she liked. The seating is a long bench that runs the length of the restaurant, with a single table at the end. We sat at the table, there was a large group at the other end of the restaurant. We saw a folded piece of paper on the table, face down that said reserved. There a was also this same piece of paper thar had fallen between the side of the bench and the wall. It honestly looked like a discarded note. What we didnt know what that this table was reserved for employees only. We sat there to wait for our order & returned to enjoy our treats. Its a very small space and the employees clearly saw us sitting there-no one said anything! When we were starting to finish a female employee-masked, white apron, Caucasian, stood approx 2 feet from where were sitting and told us in a very agressive manner that this table was reserved for employees only and that wed need to move. This caused a scene and everyone stared at us. As an adult, to be talked to this way was completely mortifying and embarrassing. We were the only minorities in there and it felt that we were being singled out. We felt so uncomfortable that we left. I called so that I could express how dissapointed we were at being treated that way to a manager. The same female employee stated that she was the acting manager, but refused to give her name and said that she legally didnt have to. She also indicated that she spoke loudly because she was told that she has a low voice. I told her customers should not be treated this way and she basically said well I had to tell you to move.I havent dealt with this type of behavior or attitude in years. Her manner was overly agressive and it caused a spectacle with everyone staring at us. It ruined our evening. I would not feel comfortable dining there again. Also, while I feel that her manner was completely unwarranted and very rude, not all of the employees were this way. Connor was really sweet & kind. We do plan to further escalate this with the gemeral manager tomorrow.
Had an awful experience this evening & unfortunately theyve lost a customer over it. Was standing outside prior to close really set on dessert this evening with a group of people and was selectively singled out and told they would not be serving us because they had to cut the line off. We were second from the door and there was no one behind us. Called them to give them a chance to change their minds but they elected not to. Wont be back.
Always great vegan desserts.I always eat TOO much!
Its an incredibly small space with incredibly good vegan food. The donuts are huge and dense and sugary, and a lot of care obviously want into making them as high quality as they are. The homestyle potatoes are simple and delicious, the tofu scramble is honestly fantastic (Im not vegan and dont generally eat tofu, but I think I might like them better than regular scrambled eggs), the french toast is incredible...its all great. The prices are definitely higher than a regular donut shop or cafe or brunch stop, but the fact that theyre speciality foods and that the quality standards are so high, it makes sense. The service is also high quality. Genuinely nice people all around. They have answers at the ready about all their menu items, and they all seem to have a positive attitude.I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great brunch, though be ready to stand in line and wait a while for a table, because the place really is VERY small.
Visiting Phoenix and am so happy to have found this gem! I was in vegan heaven (sooo many options). I had the iced Caramel Mockiato, which was sweet and decadent and delicious. My dad tried the Dragon juice, an Italian soda and lemonade refreshing drink with dragonfruit. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was HUGE and delicious!!! The vegan doughnuts looked incredible, but I was too full to try them today. Friendly service and a laid back atmosphere. Strongly recommend!
Ive been coming here for over 10 years and they have the best soy vegan soft serve you can get with gluten free pastry options. Their coffee is delicious too and they offer interesting drink combinations such as orange juice and espresso. Would recommend for locals or tourists!
Dessert was good and the staff was fast
Delicious non-dairy treats!
The tsoynamis are amazing 😭😭😭 I love this place! I go here everytime I go to phoenix I make sure to come here!It does take time to get your order. They are popular/making magic.
I have been coming here for years now. This is one of Phoenixs best kept secrets in the vegan/vegetarian community.P.S.I LOVE you Name :)
Delicious, creative vegan desserts 😁🎉🙌
OMG the food was sooooo good, one of the best places to eat plant based food. The staff there are fantastic.
1st time here, and trying out vegan desserts. Honestly very pleased. Cant even tell the difference from a reg carrot and strawberry cupcakes.
One of the best vegan spots in town. I’ve bought my non-vegan family and friends here. They all love it. I recommend their breakfast burritos, and for dessert, their banana cream pie ice cream. They are also taking very good precautions with Covid! Thank you Nami! :)
Best four words ever...oatmeal cream pie cookies. And their peanut butter bars are magical.
Weve loved this place for a long time! The ice cream and milk shakes are my fav!
Vegan breakfast was sooo delicious. Loved it!
Awesome brunch and our absolute go to for fro-yo. Could eat an entire cake by myself But please oh please institute SOME kind of dress code. Crop shirts with bellies hanging out and sleeveless shirts sporting arm pit hair do not give off the confidence in your sanitary conditions. Isnt there a health code for food service employees attire?
I adore this place. I only wish they had a location in Tucson so I could go every week. Would I be broke? Sure. But Id be happy.
My wife had to cut milk products out of her diet because our newborn son has a CMPI so she was pretty sad about not being able to eat certain foods. We found Nami when looking for a place to get dairy free doughnuts and are really happy we did. The doughnuts are quite good and are an excuse for us to stop by whenever were in downtown. They also do really excellent breakfast burritos and the biscuits and gravy are amazing. I wasnt a big fan of the tofu scramble by itself, but mixed with the gravy if you get the biscuits and gravy breakfast, or in the burritos, it is better.
Best Vegan ice cream in Phoenix. I love the soyNami so delicious. 👍
Best vegan place ever! I love all the dessert options! Their cakes are to die for 😍
Really good vegan coffee and pastries!!
I finally tried Nami after getting food from Green several times. I ordered the Carrot Cake, Tasmanian and chocolate cupcakes. OH. MY. GOODNESS. They were wonderful and full of rich flavor!
Ive gone twice already and plan on going many more times just for their ice cream. I dont eat dairy but love ice cream-- however, the tubs at the store of non-dairy ice cream can be pricy AND not taste like much. Here, its around $5 for a great serving size and it tastes just. like. ice. cream. Even the consistency is amazing. I recommend it 100% even if you arent vegan. :)
Definitely turned me into a regular. Love this place for their vegan options
Really good vegan soy ice cream! You get the option of vanilla, chocolate, or swirl and the. Whatever toppings you want mixed in or pick one of their many signature combos! Sorry I did not take any photos but trust me it’s definitely a must try!
Vanilla milk shake is yummy 😋
