Great coffee and good service. Was visiting from out of town and 2 people recommended this spot. I got a quad cappuccino once and a red eye pour over the other time. Both great. Also got the breakfast sandwiches. I recommend asking for cheddar instead of American on the sandwiches. Nice outdoor seating area, very ample indoor seating area. Also got some coffee for home ... great stuff.
I went to Press and picked up some beans because my local shop (Grinders) was having supply chain issues and were out of beans. Well the beans from Press were sadly just terrible; super dry and the coffee was bitter! They promote they roast on site and maybe they just dont rotate stock enough? Or? Not sure what the issue is but I wouldnt buy their beans again! The beans were super dry! If you are from the area Id drive to Grinders at Dunlap and Central to get fresh roasted high quality beans. Grinders beans are fantastic with great flavor and now back in stock! You can see the difference in beans in the pic, left Press right Grinders.Press coffee house is amazing place though and was packed with customers! Lots of people both inside and out enjoying their coffees. I didnt try any of their drinks and perhaps they are lots better than the coffee beans!
Ask for an 8 oz tea, get a tea packet and cup of hot water. Asking 12oz or 16oz, get a cup of water and a packet of tea and are charged more than the 8oz. Advice: dont get the larger tea.Food is mediocre. The upper floor is nice.
I feel foolish for not coming here sooner! The service was fast, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was perfect for socializing and/ or conducting business (I was there to do the latter). The place is huge and is also absolutely gorgeous. Their massive coffee presses are on display (almost how youd see the beer equivalent in a brewery). Very cool!
Once again customer service is not fun - just rude and not friendly. It is Good tasting coffee. Great spot for a variety of purposes from studying to small hangouts - with even a happy hour option with beers on tap and cocktails. BUT Not super pleased with customer service though - skipped SB to support local but second thought it might have been a better experience 😬
What a cool place! We loved the atmosphere and the staff was great and provided excellent customer service. Their coffee is good. They also offer other adult beverages. Its a perfect place to study, have a bite or go on a first date. You wont be disappointed!
Excellent coffee and ambiance. I love the iced dirty chai tea latte and PB Mixer. Their roasts are unique and flavorful. Great space for working or visiting with friends. Good food, too!
I love Press as in the food and coffee..but I would not come here if your in any kind of hurry..several times I’ve come and waiting 25mins + food avocado toast..today I came in a it wasn’t even remotely busy…if your not in a hurry I do recommend because they have one of the best Chais but otherwise go somewhere else.
I wanted a little date day at 4pm with my husband to unwind. I love coffee and he loves beer so we thought Press would be prefect. However, they listed at least 7 beers and they were out of all of them. It was very disappointing for him. I enjoyed the coffee though.
Good coffee. Rude service. My wife asked a question about the mini cakes. Cashier said, “the description is on the card”. When in fact the card was turned around. The cashier then turned card around. When my wife asked what are the flavors? The cashier again said “It’s is on the card”. When wife ask once again “what’s turtle flavor?” The cashier did not respond and just stared.
A very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Coffee is AMAZING! They have an app in case you are in a rush, you can order ahead. I am so happy to have found this place!
Great coffee and lunch sandwiches. Be aware if you order the Chicken Mozz sandwich, to make sure the thicker part of the chicken breast is fully cooked! Ours was still pink!!!! We just cut that part out and ate the rest since we didnt have time to take it back and get a new sandwich!
I literally had the first coffee ever that made me say WOW and regretted I didnt get a large. I had an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was HEAVENLY. Also their avocado toast is super good. 100/10 for this place.
Wonderful staff located throughout the Valley. Everyone there is friendly extremely knowledgeable and fully understand what coffee is.Please know that press coffee serves real coffee (not coffee flavoured beverages).I highly recommend Jimmy and Jack from the Biltmore office. They are great at pour overs but please note that all press members have been trained at this location.Def top 3 in AZ.Thank you press for letting people from AZ try what real coffee taste like.
I spend everyday at Press due to working remote and let me tell you, there is not a better coffee shop around. Ive done Lux on Central - Schmooze in Old Town - none of them compare to this place.Workers like Jacob and Emily make everyday warm, inviting and truly an ideal working place.LOVE IT!!
Super cute place. I love that they roast their beans right there!
My first coffee in 5/6 days....was so good! Cool spot but no outlets!!
What a beautiful spot to visit! I will undoubtedly return! To be honest, I was a happy customer because of the good and nutritious coffee and foods I had for breakfast. Aside from that, Id like to express my gratitude to the waiter who delivered my order in a timely and professional manner. I found that the place was tidy, stylish, and quiet after just a few hours there. In the end, it was a perfect place to study and relax. Thank you so much!
I love this location. The environment and the space is absolutely perfect. Something about the presence of the hulkingly large roasters in the back excites my inner coffee nerd. The loft is a great place to sit and watch people come and go. The coffee is usually excellent, there seems to be a frequent rotation of counter employees, but the training they provide is excellent and the people behind the bar, if perhaps new to coffee, are still very enthusiastic about it on the whole. They support the Phoenix community and schools so everyone should hand them your coffee money because they turn around and hand it back to our community. Avoid Starbucks, make your life better: enjoy press!
If youre looking for great coffee, stop by Press Coffee on 32nd Street. The staff is very welcoming and kind, the food is great, and oh dont even get me started on the coffee! The espresso drinks are to-die-for and the cold brew is wicked. Whether its early in the morning or a mid-day-pick-me-up, Press Coffee is the place to go! (Remember to wear your mask.) #presscoffee #northphoenix #bestcoffee #coffeelover #espressolover
Good coffee and tea! I got an iced chai latte and an iced americano which were both very delicious. I had prompt and kind service by the staff here as well. They have their own roasteries on site which was a plus and very cool to see in person.
Good coffee with plenty of indoor seating with lots of spacing and plenty of outdoor seating with morning shade to help keep off some of this morning summer heat. Good place to meet for business contacts as well as pleasurable contacts.
Great ambiance, but make sure they get your drink right.
Definitely has quickly become my favorite place to go for coffee, a meal, and fresh roasted coffee beans to take home. The atmosphere is great for both hanging out with friends and studying, but definitely not stuffy. They do serve wine in the evening as well.Seating seems limited for the popularity, but when I compare it to other coffee shops, there’s actually more seating here than the majority of shops in town. Fact is, it’s just a popular place. So, you might have to wait for a seat at peak times.TRIVIA: The original plan for this location was to be only the roasters, but the owner thought it might be good to go ahead and add the cafe. Good call, Mr. Kraus!
This coffee shop is great! They have a nice range of coffee and cookies that go well with it. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air. This coffee shop provided me with a pleasant and satisfying experience. I was treated as a unique individual who was warmly welcomed. It comes highly recommended!
First time at press coffee. I got a iced latte with half sugar(half pump) of caramel and vanilla. It was okay but wanted a little sweeter and asked for a pump more of vanilla. Idly they put 1 pump I believe. So I think I had 1 1/2 pumps of vanilla and u can definitely taste the vanilla. Next time I would just get it as it comes or try a mocha. Heard that’s popular.I think this is the most luxurious place on the block.Parking not as much but fair. The doors are huge like windows, which is cool.I also got the turkey wrap. It was good and a bit spicy because of the sirracha. My friend got the peanut butter shake. It had a weird taste like a protein flavor. She asked for mocha and they added it to her drink and it tasted better. It’s not really a shake cause it’s not blended. There’s also a bar here. There’s also an upstairs. There’s a patio outside.
Good place to sit and have a morning cuppa. Staff is friendly and helpful.
My absolute favorite local coffee place. The staff is always so friendly. Its a great place to chill either at the bar (alcohol is served too) or in the lounge-style loft or outside with the dog. I usually like to get my coffee and sit upstairs with whatever book Im reading. I can get my coffee quickly which is great when Im on my way to work.
Service was great. Im a coffee lightweight. I ordered nitro cold brew, expecting it to be creamy and smooth, as Im used to with nitro brew. This was much darker and rather bitter. I wasnt able to drink it.The muffin was stale and I also didnt finish it.
Good coffee, too much noisebto have a conversation
I got the smallest size of iced matcha latte and it tasted like watered down milk with a bit of matcha powder, no sweetner and extremely bitter
Nice place. Good food. Good service. Regular coffee is nothing to write home about.
Love this place! Great coffee and great food! Highly recommend checking it out.
The building design is the highlighted. This location has a 2nd floor
As someone who loves to visit new coffee shops, this one was exciting. the environment and atmosphere of this place is perfect for any occasion, whether youre looking to get some work done or chat with friends. as for the actual coffee -- phenomenal, worked great with the avocado caprese that i ordered. the baristas know what theyre doing so if you dont know what youre looking for, let them know! i got a solid recommendation and i loved it. it was also interesting to see fresh coffee being roasted on-site as well, and the noise level of the machines did not distract me from my work. the second floor is a nice feature as well that not many coffee shops in the area have. overall a great vibe and coffee shop, ill definitely be coming back!
Solid place to relax with a cup or a small meal. Coffee was good but not amazing.
Great coffee. Please put in a drive though. Its really hard to come in with multiple children. I would come more of you had a drive though.
Better coffee this time. Great people and customer service. The place is clean and plenty of places to sit and enjoy
My go-to place! I get Press almost everyday and have never been let down!
Love this place as it is the ONLY cool / spacious non-starbucks coffee shop in the vicinity of north-central phx. But it is definitely not quiet, with the metal surfaces echoeing peoples voices, and the constant and tremendously loud roasting machines. Super cool place with good eats and drinks, but would not recommend as a place to relax and study or read.
Loved my first experiences here twice this week! My new go to spot with my wife, friends and for some personal meetings. Great coffee, atmosphere. Grow some more here in the valley! ☕️
Its okay at best. the store is beautiful, however there was no place to stand and wait for my coffee, much less sit to wait without going upstairs or outside in 100+ degree weather. (and sorry, Im not going to go upstairs to wait for my coffee.) there were people having a lengthy conversation in front of the handoff bar, effectively blocking it. my coffee was ok, tasted the same as any bottled coffee drink from a grocery or convenience store. tried it again on another visit with different milk, but its definitely the espresso flavor that I dislike. on my third visit, I mistook my cold brew coffee for iced tea at first, and like the espresso it was weak and acidic. it might be someones favorite flavor profile, but not mine. I tried a brownie on my first visit, it was also average and could have been any cake style box mix brownie.
Very good customer service, staff all friendly. Recommend using the app as this location is very busy on weekday mornings. But it is totally worth the wait. All very fresh with great unique food options. Location inside is very spacious. Joel typically has helped me but all of the staff are very nice.
Coffee good woman that works there rude, showed up, laptop in hand, ordered and was going to go sit. She looked at me and said as she continued walking by said “uh we close soon” I said your sign says 6pm on Sunday’s (it was 3:55pm) she’s like no we close at 4, I said ok there was no other sign, she said back “it’s online and been that way for 1.5 years”,I’m a local to the valley and I don’t use google maps to get everywhere so no I don’t check online first, if your going to change your hours 1st don’t let your workers be so rude about communicating it and 2nd put a sign of the change in hours in your physical store…
New to Phoenix and this place serves rich, delicious coffee. Food is wholesome and the establishment is very sharp and impressive. Customer service is nothing special but they arent rude and focus on getting your order taken care of. Not even a coffee drinker and I love this place!
Delicious coffee. Beautiful atmosphere.
Seriously their coffee blends are delicious. Turned my husband and I into coffee snobs. We can only ever drink press coffee now.💕
This coffee shop is absolutely fantastic. They offered good coffee as well as services. The price of food and coffee is on point which I appreciated so much. All of the staff never hesitate to answer all my questions and always ready to assist me during my stay. The ambiance also is very cozy. I really loved this place. Highly recommended!
I had a lot of paper works to be done, so I decided to go to your coffee shop to do it there. The ambiance was so peaceful and relaxing. The taste of your coffee and cakes were so tasty and satisfying. I enjoyed doing my works in your wonderful shop. It was very convenient to visit this place as well. Thumbs up!
It was just ok. Cool building. They dont care about their patrons wearing masks though so that was a bummer to be waiting for my coffee and the people standing next to me had no masks. The employees had masks so that was good. The PB Shaker I had was delish.
Love this place but wondering if the Press Coffee App can be updated so that a person can add only one shot of espresso to their drinks (cold brew). Currently the app gives you the option to add either 2 or 4 shots to a drink, and there is no place to add notes saying I’d only like one shot added.
Loved this place! Indoor dining open during the pandemic and they seem very safe....lots of space and table to spread out. Clean bathrooms, fast wifi, good service and great coffee. Ticks all the boxes.
Very nice experience! I finally found a coffee shop in my area. Nice, and strong full-flavored and not as expensive as some of the others Ive tried before. They have a good coffee and friendly service too. I should visit your coffee shop again, and thats a promise. A strong recommendation for you! Cheers!
This is newest location of the Press Coffee chain and they definitely went all out on this one. If you are familiar with the other locations this is quite the opposite but in a good way. There is way more room to spread out here with high top seating through out and even a loft style area upstairs. The coffee is good, would definitely recommend.
Great working space and breakfast/coffee spot.
My go to coffeeshop in town. Never disappoints
Good service and nice location.
Great open areas and outdoor seating. Open roaster so can see the operations. Wish they had smoothies or fresh juices along with great coffee.
Always a good experience when I go to Press. Ill often come here to work or to spend a bit of time reading or journaling, and the industrial-chic vibe hits just right. Oh, and the coffee is delicious. Recommended!
Its a place where you can relax to clear up your mind from your problems to your home or other things that bother your mind. I usually go to a coffeeshop to study because it is a good place to be alone where no one can distract you. And the best for it because their staff really gives you space. And sometimes they give you free cakes for you to study well which is I find it sweet thank you
Good and friendly service. Freshly roasted coffee, fixed anyway you like. An upstairs and outside patio.
Such a chill and relaxing environment!
If you like waiting in line for 15 mins and waiting another 20 mins for food /drink this is the place for you. 2 staff members on a morning shift.. 2nd day in a row trying to come and use my gift card - I had to walk out yesterday after waiting 10mins in line. Today it was another 10min wait for my order to be taken and 20 mins for a simple sandwich. I won’t be back.
First time and last time today. For starters, its an oddly shaped building that seems to be more of a bar than a coffee place. Could have been remodeled, but there is no clear indication of where to order, its just a big bar top. However, thats no deal breaker, but the employees are. My wife ordered a nitro cold brew, to which the gentleman asked if she wanted creamer. She said yes, to which he then replied, You cant use creamer in nitro. So, then why did he ask? Second, I asked if Starbucks can use sweet cream, why cant they. He made up some mumbo jumbo about the nitrogen coagulating... Yeah, he thought others would believe that... Then, it took 6 mins from receipt of sale, to receiving a 12oz caramel macchiato, with 6 people behind the counter, and zero in front or behind us... Then to top it off, the macchiato is $3.5 for 10oz, but magically $5 for 12oz. The only other drink that was $5 was $4.5 for the 10oz, so theyre engaged in fraud as well, either willingly, or maybe they test candidates with the nitrogen coagulation test before hiring them...
Very cool place to see! Good menu, great coffee.
This is an absolutely AMAZING place to work remotely and get some tasty coffee. You can smell them brewing the fresh coffee the whole time you are there and it adds a special feeling to your day.The wifi is fast, the staff is awesome and the environment is unparalleled. It has two stories, so there is plenty of room to find a seat and get some work done. There are also some couches and comfy places to sit if you are here just to have a cup of coffee and hangout.Either way, this place is great and I will be back more often.
Beautiful building where they roast their own coffee on site. Great selection of non-dairy options (including oatly!!!) and expertly made lattes by a quick, friendly, and competent staff. Sit out on the great little outdoor patio or inside in the two story Cafe.
Best coffee I have had so far... I gave it 4 star because its a little bit pricey (2 8oz lattes $10) and because it does not have a drive through. I will definitely come back.
Not the best coffee I ever had, but better than starbucks
Sign on window clearly says 8p closing time. Staff were terribly rude about excusing us after taking plenty of money. We were clearly carrying in things to stay. Starbuck’s going in right across the street...
Fast service for good coffee
Best breakfast burrito around!
Nice ambience and love the air flow during the pandemic, but they are lacking in decaf and gluten free food options
Worth the drive from the East Valley.
Excellent coffee shop. Great quality. Nice place to hang out. Highly recommended this shop!
