Went in with expecting they had skills and tools to solve my problem. I was setup a LTE modem and quick start flyer was no help. When I went in they read quick start flyer and Google the problem. I was able to do that. I was also ping modem, map network, and used tool on Microsoft to solve network issues. I was able to do more then clerk. I ended up figuring out problem on my own. Left wondering what training they had and what kind problems they can fix.

My laptop wasnt charging. I happened to see Data Doctors the previous evening when I went to ZK for Mediterranean food, so I thought I would give them a try. Frank was very helpful an patient with someone (me) who is certainly not on the cutting edge of technology :-) He thought it might be the battery, so i left it with him for testing. He called me the next day and said the battery was OK, but for some reason it became slightly unseated and wasnt making connection, so they just had to re-seat it. Picked it up later that day. I appreciate their honesty - they could have told me that the battery needing replacing, but they didnt. Nice to have someone you can trust. Their customer service is excellent - so glad I chose Data Doctors!

Data Doctors has provided outstanding service to me for years. Not only is their repair and data recovery service top notch, they build high quality custom computers, too. Their computers are so reliable that the only reason I ever seem to need a new one is simply because the endless march of technology makes all machines obsolete sooner or later.Beyond the hardware, though, the guys at the Ahwatukee location are aces. Frank and Thomas are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I cant think of anyone Id rather have work on my computers.

Terrible. Door was locked with the open sign. Called from outside the door. Not a computer repair shop. Couldnt even provide a service of replacing laptop battery.

Kyle did an awesome job in getting my data transferred to a portable hard drive and then back into my laptop after I got it back from the Microsoft warranty program I had. He is extremely knowledgeable and very good at explaining everything to me. He is a valuable asset to Data Doctors.

I subscribe to a monthly contract which then covers all labor and the Trend Micro Internet Security when I take boxes in or connect remotely for service. 15 years ago, I had my custom desktop built and serviced by a shop in Paradise Valley. On moving to Ahwatukee 6 years ago, I had this facility build my laptop. I have enough computer knowledge to be dangerous so at age 75 I now trust this team to do all my updates and upgrades. This time, in addition to total cleanup, they put a new hard drive in my desktop and installed a new battery for the laptop so now I have the equivalent of 2 new machines with most current software downloads. All of the techs are fantastic. I strongly recommend them and thank them for taking such good care of me in these trying times.

I needed repairs on two separate computers last month, including replacing a battery in a Macbook Pro. Those are designed to NOT be easy to do for the average consumer (special tools required, difficulty identifying exactly which batter is the correct replacement, etc.) Data Doctors helped me through it and all turned out very well. Shout out to Kyle who took care of me each time I returned.

My aging Toshiba was running very slow with frequent freezes. I asked Vincent to check it out. He recommended a solid state hard drive which has worked like magic and saved $$$ by keeping the rest of the computer. He also cleaned up the files, which freed up substantial storage space. All the work was done in a timely and friendly manner. Best computer service Ive ever experienced.

I had an external hard drive that fell three feet from a table. It had over 2TB of home videos, photos of my kids, and three or four weddings and other jobs I was in the process of editing and working on. After four weeks and after three or four different orders of parts, Data Doctors were successful in recovering EVERYTHING I had. They recovered priceless and irreplaceable things that I thought were lost for good. They communicated with me efficiently throughout the entire process and showed sincere care for my hard drive and the information on it. Thank you so much guys!!

Update 2: Got the motherboard replaced and computer returned to me promptly. Thanks!Update: Was contacted by Dale, the GM for Data Doctors just a day after this review. He told me he wanted to make things right and offered to waive the labor costs for replacing the motherboard, which worked out for me since my computer supplier decided to send me a replacement motherboard. Im pretty impressed with Data Doctors leadership and will update again after I get the motherboard from the supplier and bring it into the shop.Worked with Kyle to help determine the cause of my computer BSODs - he was knowledgeable and helpful, but I did have to call him for a few updates. Ended up paying $99 instead of $59 because my computer was custom-made, which is a bit annoying but understandable I guess. It took 4 days, but we found out that my motherboard was faulty and the store wanted to charge $200 for replacement and repair WITHOUT using that initial $99 computer physical towards the cost. Really? $100 for a motherboard that costs $80, and $100 for a 20 minute job of replacing a motherboard? I mightve allowed the shop to replace and repair it if that initial $99 counted towards the replacement fee, but the shop wants to charge me $300 to diagnose and replace a motherboard? I know you guys need to turn a profit, but come on; thats practically robbery.

The service was prompt, fast turnaround, and complete. And I have to add, very affordable. There was an unexpected post-service question I had, which was immediately evaluated in the shop, solved on the spot, and not charged. Friendly and knowledgeable service. I normally dont write reviews, but this is one I can completely stand behind and recommend to anyone.

Ive been a customer for quite some time, and joined their computer care program for $15 month. At times I thought maybe Ill drop it, my computer is fine. Thank goodness I didnt. A couple of years ago I got a bad virus, took it in, just $20 bucks and my computer ran like new. This past week, I was scammed by a unscrupulous company, my husbands laptop was also affected. I added his laptops to the plan to cover any future problems.
