They decorate cakes nicely here. The lettering isnt as nice. They like you to print out a picture of the cake you want and know how many people you will be having and the flavor/filling you want. Make sure you communicate what you want with specific details. The customer service is terrible and they only speak Spanish. Theyve messed up a cake once before, my wedding cake. I didnt receive the fillings I asked for. I gave them another shot for my kids birthday. The presentation was good and I received everything I asked for. I paid $110 for what is in the pictures. When I ordered they were impatient with me. They wanted me to know exactly what I wanted. Also expect to wait when you pick up cake. They told me I could pick up my cake at 2. I went at 4 and they were still working on my cake. I waited half an hour.

This place is the worst. My experience was horrible and never will come here again.First of all they ruined my cake and day by doing such a poor job. They were charging me 100 for a 7inch cake which I didnt want that size. They had 2 weeks to give me a call or question my order but no one contacted me. When I picked up the cake they did not see anything wrong with it. They were confused on why I had an issue with it. I still paid 60, for it because I had paid for it ahead of time and they felt I only deserved $40 back.

I was a little scared to order my cake for my sons 1st birthday here because of the reviews. I went ahead and ordered and the cake turned out pretty good. The cake itself was delicious! We ordered chocolate with strawberry filling. The only thing I would say is they need to work on their handwriting and decoration a little. As far as customer service they were friendly to me.

I had ordered a two layer cake two days before my sisters 15 birthday and I was not disappointed it turned out exactly how I wanted it. It was one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. I will be coming back in a couple months for my birthday cake. If I could I’d give them a thousand stars because it’s absolutely beautiful work and for a great price😋😁

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday. The “design” was a joke and I was even charged $10 extra which was fine until I saw the cake. The cake was very good and moist, however they have horrible customer service. I will not go back.

I ordered a Super Mario cake from their catalog. It was 3 leches, i made one little change to the border to be red instead of the baby blue that the picture had. Instead they made the border navy blue.But no big deal right, well like i mentioned earlier it was a 3 leches cake. When it was time to take it out of the box the cake was on top of a CARDBOARD it was soaked in milk so there was not way to take the cake out of the box because it was all wet & flimsy. So I had to cut the sides of the box for my pictures pictures. THEN when we cut the cake there was a soaked piece of paper between the cardboard & the cake, so when we were cutting the cake pieces of paper came with the cake. No one ate the cake, we threw it out. I was so disappointed.

I was very disappointed with their decorating skills and very bad customer service, I ordered a cake and I went to pick up and they were closed already, they have to call if they’re closing, they have horrible decorating skills you tell them specifically a color and they make it the opposite color. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Weve been ordering cakes from Petra, the owner, from when she was baking from home. She did my 15 añera cake. A handful of cousins 15 añera cakes. . My sons 1st bday cake. And later on today, Ill be picking up his bday cake to celebrate his 15th bday .Last year, they did my neices 15 añera cake. It was absolutely beautiful.We live over 50 mins away and always come here for our cakes. When were in the area we stop by for individual slices. Lol theyre so good.For those who do not know, tres leches cake belong in the fridge until its ready to serve. Because it will get soggy and start leaking. ( smh some peoples reviews)

I went here this morning and got pan dulce for a work potluck and also order a burrito.. First.. I paid with a $20 and she did not have change.took at least 5 minutes to get change. then people that ordered after me got their order first.. 20 minutes went by and I still didnt have my burrito.. and the lady(cashier) says youre burrito is coming ... I told her to keep it, as I had to go to work.. ridiculous.

Very disappointed with the 3 Leches. I ordered it for my daughters 16th B-Day and it was a total embarrassment. No taste and nasty texture. NO ONE at the party ate it. I put the slices of cake back in the box along with the rest of the cake to take it back. When I called to let them know and get some of my money back they would not do it. It was a waste of time, money, and unfortunately we had no cake for our guests. I would not give them a single star!

The cakes are beyond good. The service is great every worker is nice. Sometimes it can go a little slow but it always goes beyond good service.

Very bad customer service!! They have to understand that if they are in service is thanks to us, their costumers. The least that we can get is to be treated with respect. Also ifa business says it closes at a certain hour they have to remain open until then and don’t make us waste our time by going there and finding it closed. 👎🏼

I ordered a cake from this bakery for my daughters birthday party. When I ordered they told me they would inform me if they did not have strawberries. I get a call 1 hour before pick up asking if I was going to drop off the strawberries. This would of been nice to know the day I ordered the cake or a day before. I am very unhappy.

The cake itself its pretty good but delivery sucks!!!Ordered two cakes for different occasions and bothtimes were past two hours late, thats just ridiculous. I will never order from there thats for sure.

This place has definitely gone down hill. Their products are cheap, tasteless and overpriced. They used to have a distinctive unique flavor to their cakes. Now, they taste worse than box made. Lets not forget the writings on our cakes.... Looks like my 3 year old spelled my uncles name. 😂I was embarrassed to show the cake to everyone!!

They should have a tag line saying welcome to pastelería aZteca that place known for making the worse cake no one ate at the party lol people are so stupid man ! I always order cakes here for special events and even one for a 15era and never had any problems with them. Their cakes are always moisturize, juicy, and they steal the show when we bring them out for the people to see it. The customer service is absolutely amazing, hard working women back there. I love this place. By all means if you think this is the worse pastelería then go to food city or Walmart to get your cakes or keep getting upset you never got your money back because it’s the worse cake you ever had. I’m a happy customer and I’ll keep coming here for years to come.

The worse customer service ever they all really need to be train in customer service.They claim they are very busy and these is why they can have you wait for ever.Left almost all my cake there for them all they care was that they were too busy ask to get someone in charge and they reply you need to wait and wait .I hope the owner reach out because they really need to train all their employees on overseeing that customers are always important even when mistakes are done.

Terrible, nothing like the photo I uploaded to their page, not the colors I wanted and they couldnt fill in the letters well.. They didnt even have the cake ready and it was supposed to be made the day before the pick up.

A very unpleasant experience, the cake was made in a different color than it was ordered, not only that but when breaking it we found a wooden stick between the cake and a very large piece of cardboard in the middle of the cake, something very unpleasant and dirty. The ugliest thing about this is that the person in charge of the pastry shop didnt care when I spoke to let him know what was going on.

I think the owner should pay attention to the people who work here lately because they are doing a very bad job decorating, I had always ordered my cakes there and I liked it but not this time and I have been reading the comments and all the People say the same for k they take the order if they are not going to do it well, besides the people who work here are not friendly at all.

I have been buying my cakes here for years and they always opened a good job. But for a while now he charges more for everything. If you want flowers it is more, if you want a drawing it is more .... for me there is no problem but if they are going to charge you more unless you expect a good job they charged me $ 20 more for the face of Mickey Mouse and for Being honest looked horrible maybe in the picture you look more or less but not in person. I recommend this pastry shop, their cakes are delicious! My mother who does not like cakes, because she liked it. And they listened as we wanted it and it came out more beautiful than we expected. Very happy with their service, my cake was delivered to me outside the city of Phoenix an hour and a half away, it was no problem. When other bakeries could not offer that service, I thought that I would not find anyone to make me the cake that we had in mind, much less that they did not deliver them to Whispering Ranch Az. Thank you very much Mrs. Petra ❤

The cakes are very good, but the customer service is horrible. They have no personality, they are always angry, stressed and very despotic. I understand that they have a lot of work, but they should be nicer! I dont think there is another place where they make the tres leches cake like the one at Pasteleria Azteca, if you cant with so much work then dont take so many orders. Bad Old Women!

I ordered a cake from there with the sample book since the design that I wanted they charged me 15 dlls more, when I collected the colors they were completely opaque, as if it were faded, it did not look at all like the sample book.
