I was in your store Thursday of last week and the young lady taking care of me was pleasant, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I sold her some unused gift cards and got great prices! I am new to the area and I would recommend this store to anyone!
Great experience at The Gold Buyers of Pittsburgh. Very reasonable prices and the best part, they pay cash. No waiting and no standing in lines at the bank. I’d recommend them to anyone!
I thought I was getting a decent deal the times I went there. Grams sell for around $50 depending on where you buy them. When I took my gold (not jewelry, not marked up diamonds) there, mind you it was still nicely packaged as well, I was given $34/g.I was told they’re allowed to make 3-4$ extra per gram. Sound like it was x3/4 a gram. The only reason I didn’t care is that I paid nothing for it because of the money I made off a sound investment.I’d love to here an explanation. Including the creepy guy that was working the one day. I guess you don’t need a personality to buy metals. What a fkn weird industry! 👀This was edited from a previous message.
Great experience for a first time seller of jewelry.Very helpful and friendly. Fair price and a good explanation of how it was determined. Highly recommend The Gold Buyers.
Did a great job, very satisfied.
I only sell to the Gold Buyers of Pittsburgh. The staff is warm and friendly and I trust them to give me a fair value price for my pieces. I recommend them to everyone and I have personally never heard a negative remark.
Aboslutely fantastic experience. I had 150$ worth of Amazon gift cards, and also 180$ in Macys gift cards. I was able to get approximately 238$ for both gift cards, which was much more than I had anticipated and also much more than any alternative options for selling gift cards would have rendered me. If I am ever presented with the opportunity to sell my gift cards again, I will surely return to this location to do it.
Terrible experience. Cashier offered me barely more than half the true value for my silver with her only explanation being that “silver is hard”. Was rude and entitled and treated me like I had no knowledge on the subject matter. Luckily the Treasure Hunt shop right down the street was professional and gave me a great deal for my metal.
Worst customer service. Extremely insultingMy husband and I stopped by this to get an estimate of the buying price for 2 gold braclets and a gold necklace. As he was taking off his braclets and handing it to the clerk Carlie she said I’ll weigh it but just so you know I don’t feel comfortable buying it. When we asked why she said she believed it was fake. Being that we know it is real gold we asked if she would acid test it and she refused. We asked why and she said she didn’t need to give an explanation. I told her she was being very offensive in not only what she was saying but her tone as well as far as customer service and for no good reason. I would have liked to see a manager but apparently the manager is in West Moreland and I will not go out of my way just to prove a point to an ignorant worker who doesn’t know how to do her job or speak to customers.
Great experience at the store! Excellent customer service, highly recommend
Heidi is wonderful, helped me out a lot and was very pleasant to do business with!
I sold gold and we agreed on a fair price. Smooth transaction I’ll go back.
Shopped around at a few places to sell some scrap gold and silver in the Northhills and this place was definitely my choice. They gave a very good price and were very nice and helpful
I have never been treated more ignorantly by any business. The man that works there is an uneducated jerk and a rude ignorant idiot. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Awesome quick service.
I was here at 10am, but they weren’t open yet. The employees showed up 25 minutes late to open the store.
