I called Precision after another business quoted me a high price for replacing the car starter. I then brought the car to this place and, after an inspection to confirm the starter issues, they quoted me a much more reasonable price. I was impressed by Kevin’s professionalism and overall friendly attitude. I also appreciated his honesty about what service does and does not make sense given the age of the car. It is very likely we will return to Precision for both regular and unplanned maintenance.

We have gone to this establishment for quite a few years now. We are Honda owners since late 70’s. We heard about them from a good neighbor of ours and have used them ever since. Some will argue that they are on the expensive side. I’m sure you can get decent repair at other shops for cheaper but my experience here is pretty good. They have experienced mechanics who know the make of the automobiles they work on and do their job remarkably well. As long as I own the models they work on I’ll be staying with them.

First took my car in to change out the battery but the car was still having electrical issues…finally on the third visit we figured out the real issue was the alternator. Kevin has been very professional and helpful the whole time and keeping me informed of the issues and progress. The car was repaired in a timely manner and I am thankful for their great service.

Theyre always honest and transparent with repairs and maintenance that are needed or can wait until the next visit. Comfortable waiting room or they can give you a ride to a nearby destination in the morning. If you need a loaner vehicle they often times have one available for a small fee. Great service! Responsive with the status of the vehicle from inspection to completion. Also did a great job with a run down of what was repaired and service recommendations for future repairs.

Called at 6:30 in am about needing to get my tire checked as soon as possible and possibly an oil change. Received a return call in less than 20 minutes. They were able to squeeze me in on the same day. Found source of leak, fixed it, did oil change, and had me out shortly. Waiting area was comfortable and restroom was clean. So happy that Precision Auto Care has my back.

I’ve had nothing but superb service here. A long time friend recommended Precision Auto, as they are the only mechanics he trusts with his Acura’s and Honda’s. I choose to always speak with Kevin when calling in to discuss repairs needed on my Civic or Pilot and in person he is just as personable, helpful, knowledgable and patient. I am extremely handy and try to solve my problems before seeking professional help, but I also have a strong desire to learn about my vehicle, regardless of if I am fixing it myself. Kevin takes the time to show me photos or demonstrate the problem and how to fix it, in ways I can easily understand. Very grateful for his time! I found this store from Google. The rating of this shop is really high - 4.9. After I experienced their service, I realized that they deserve that high rating. In my opinion, there are 3 main reasons. 1) Their price is super reasonable and fair, they never scam customers. 2) They customer service is excellent because they communicate to the customers professionally and effectively. Besides, they complete the work on time! 3) The reception desk of the shop is neat and clean. On the day I went to the shop, I saw that there were a lot of Pleasanton local customers who always choose their shop as their first mechanic shop. Most of their customers drive Acura and Lexus. I can tell the customers trust PRECISION AUTO REPAIR.

Kevin and his staff are wonderful to work with! I have been using them on our cars for years. My daughter took her car in and they gave her an estimate. At checkout, Kevin gave her a coupon she had not seen, and reduced her bill! He didn’t have to do that but it shows the quality of person Kevin in and the quality of this establishment. This is my second time taking my Acura here. First time was Brakes and oil change. This was a general Service. I like the professionalism of the front office people as well as their sense of humor. Everything is neat and clean and my car was ready in a couple hours. I will be back!

Precision Auto has been amazing overall as a service center. Prices are fair and they are really good at diagnosing issues that the dealers could not fix. Flexible scheduling and they offer shuttle service or car service (reasonable fee to use car). Stop wasting your money at the dealers and give these folks a try!

I absolutely love precision auto care! They are the best! They explain everything to you so you understand! They don’t try to rip you off! I one time went to the dealership and they told me I needed something done that was really expensive. I came here and they told me nothing was wrong and even brought me in the shop and showed me. Customer service is amazing! Also peanut is the cutest dog ever! I will always come here first! 😊

My experience wasnt that good. My car needed a starter replacement as the car was not starting instantly. I had to leave my car with them for 2 days. The starter motor replaced by them is making unwanted noise and shaking the car. I have requested them to fix the issue.

Have not use the service for a while, few days ago service engine light came on on My 2010 Toyota Prius brought it to Precision Auto to see Kevin (mr. good looking with the suits) knowing this company for more than 30 years I must said the quality and the service are just as professional as 30 years ago. Everything was explained in advance with pictures from the previous service of what repairs were needed. Costs were given before work was started. Completion was ahead of estimates and no issues since repairs were done. Very satisfied with this business.

This shop wants to make an honest profit by doing work that is beneficial to their customers. I highly appreciate this and therefore highly recommend them!I was ready to pay for a recent diagnosis that the shop gave, because they told me in advance what it would cost. But, because it wasnt really a fixable problem, they were kind enough to not charge me anything. I didnt ask for that, they offered. Omg I had a good experience i got 3 estimates to fix my abs breaks on a Prius. One for 4234 another one for 4785 and these guys for 440 because all they had to do was reconnect a wire. Guess who I picked :)

Precision Auto Repair fixed a major issue (blown head gasket due to a coolant leak due to failed radiator hose) very professionally, and also charged significantly less than the Subaru dealership despite a more thorough overhaul of the engine. Had Precision service my Civic and Acura. In an out within an hour on each day. Now is a great time to visit Precision because of our restrictions. Theyre very conscious of the Virus, where they are careful with not much contact, and even wipes you car FOB with a antiseptic wipe.

I love this place. I think it’s so hard to find an honest car repair place and this one is definitely honest. They don’t beat around the bush, everything is done in a timely manner and a fair price. Also the little waiting area has toy cars which kept my 3 year old boy entertained for an hour each time we are there. I highly recommend this place!

Had to have my car towed to Precision Auto Repair. After some analysis, it was determined that it was a bad starter. The starter was previously replaced and was still under warranty. Very happy with the service I received from Precision Auto Repair. When I walked in to check in my car they greeted me by name (phone conversation) even though it was my first time bringing my car in. Ken did a great job of notifying me at every step. He also called me to let me know what time they closed. I will definitely return for some other work that needs to be completed.
